We did this for my birthday and I can honestly say this is one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had, it was absolutely incredible. It’s a must do if you’re visiting VC it’s the only way to see the magnificent falls from an aerial view. Breathtaking 😊

Hi Anderson, I am sorry that you felt that the view of Victoria Falls was not as good as you expected. The height of the flights is governed by strict regulations, for flight safety, but as well as conservation and regard for the tourists in the park that wouldnt want the sound of the helicopter right overhead. We do however hope that overall you did enjoy the spectaculr Victoria Falls.

We were promptly picked up at our lodge. Everything went very smoothly. Our group consisted of 3 people and we went up in a 4 person helicopter by ourselves. We did the 25 minute ride and the pilot was fantastic, making sure both sides of the helicopter had a view of the falls, the gorges, and the animals in the park. It gave us a chance to see the falls from a different perspective and we signed up for the last flight of the day, which is the time the sun hits the droplets and produces rainbows. It was a very smooth ride and one of the highlights of our stay in Victoria Falls.

It's busy !!!
We were on a tight schedule to get to airport. Needed to pester staff to get on helicopter ASAP.
Other than that, trip was brilliant.
Allow yourself plenty of time !

The flight was smooth. The views were lovely. Although most of the landscaper this time of the year is very dry and winter looking. Can't help that. The pilot on the other hand? Never spoke one word to us. did not introduce himself. I have been on helicopter rides before the pilot talks to us. Ask us where we're from and then of course talks to us about what we're seeing as we fly over. He took us up for 12 minutes and brought us back down without speaking a word. This is unacceptable. Some of the staff said it maybe because his transmissions weren't working that's even more alarming that he couldn't speak to people in the back of the helicopter who couldn't even see him.

I texted the company the day before to confirm our appointment time and they got back to us. The next morning they called our hotel to let us know they would be coming 15 minutes early. Great communication. The van transport was on time and the friendly service was excellent. Everything there was organized and they kept us informed of when we would fly. Smooth and efficient like any good company should be. I would fly with them again.

My flight was canceled and I began communicating with the tour provider directly asking about canceling the excursion and I asked for a refund. Once I got to the destination, I made attempts to reschedule and they were unable to fit me in and they stopped communicating with me. Very disappointed in the service.

Good Day Angela, Your booking was for the 22 July at +/- 08h30 am. Please note, due to your own arrival delays to Victoria Falls, you cancelled the Booking at 7h27 PM on the night before the flight. Our reservationist then cancelled your booking as per your instructions. Then at 17h15 PM on 22nd of July you requested if you could get a new booking for the morning of the 23rd July, but you stated it had to be early morning as you had another activity at 08h30am and then were leaving town. Jenny the agent that you communicated with right from the start of your delayed flight in South Africa, tried to get you a NEW booking, but then informed you on your whatsapp that there were no available flights before 08h30 am and she was unable to get you a booking.
Whilst we are very sorry that you did not get to participate in this amazing experience, Jenny tried right through your travel delays to help you and then to reschedule your flight, and then communicated to you there were no available flights in your time limit, I cant see how you term this as a lack of communication or with respect poor service.

If never been on a helicopter, the tour is fine. It would have been more enjoyable if there was a commentary provided on what you see and/or history. Could have been an audio track since they fly the same route multiple times a day. Our pilot only pointed out animals when over Chobi Park. Be prepared for flight changes due to weather which is out of their hands

Make sure you read the fine print when you book this flight. Under “inclusions.” They also list everything that is excluded, including a $30 per person park fee and fuel level. The whole time you were waiting to get on the helicopter there is a guy jumping around, taking pictures of you, usually without your knowledge. Don’t spend the extra money on the extra 10 minute ride over the national park unless you want to go around in circles looking at an elephant for 10 minutes. Then there is the post flight video that you are forced to watch that shows all the embarrassing moments that lead up to your flight and then they want $50 US for a copy of the flight video and embarrassing photos that they took. The only saving grace on this trip was the views , I expected a lot more for $800 US. Or maybe I expected a lot less.

Thank you for the time you took to post this review. The National Parks fees and Fuel Levy are very clearly listed on the Website and the Booking Platform and are also very clear on the ticket you get from the booking system, so I don't think the T&C's are "fine print".
The Parks Fee is actually combination of a government aviation fee and Parks Fees, and by law all operators have to collect these on behalf of these bodies.
The Fuel Levy was introduced last August by all operators due to the steep hike in fuel costs worldwide, and was done as as a special levy as opposed to hiking the price, so hopefully when prices drop it can be withdrawn.
In terms of the videography, Im sorry that you felt that pictures of yourself were embarrassing and you felt this was an intrusion, the videos are actually very popular and a high % of our guests do buy these as momentos. Also viewing the videos after the flight is totally voluntary as is purchasing them, and no-one is under any obligation to do either.
Overall Im sorry the flight did not meet your expectations, if you look down the long lists of positive reviews here, it obviously comes down to personal preferences and we obviously didn't meet yours, and we are disappointed about this.

I booked the helicopter flight months in advance and was advised that my booking was provisional as they had a two person minimum for flights. The company would advise of any changes.
On the morning of the flight after waiting 20 minutes after the pickup time, the hotel staff contacted the company. I was advised that my flight had been cancelled without consent or consultation; neither was I offered a refund. I had booked the flight for 08:30 when conditions would be favourable for photography.
My flight was rescheduled for 15:00 when conditions were really bad for photography but I had no choice but take the flight.
The helicopter was cramped with little room to move around to take photographs. There were two other singles on the flight and I had to rush back to my hotel to meet a pickup for a more enjoyable activity. Because of this I did not even get to review the video of the flight.

I am sorry that you did not have a good flight. Unfortunately the Helicopters do require a Minimum number to fly, due to the cost, and this condition was communicated to you that the booking could only be held as provisional as there were no other bookings. It seems however that the office never informed you the day before, as is procedure that there were still no other bookings for the time you requested, and informed you of the cancellation of your provisional Booking, and for this we do apologise. Often as in this case, there are other last minute bookings, and hence they added you to a booking that came in, again we apologise that it was not the time you requested.

Simply amazing flight. 5 passengers were on our flight. Seating was comfortable. Pilot speaks to everyone thru your headset. Bubble windows allow for great photo taking. Wonderful views of the falls. We went on a 25 minute flight

In terms of the height of the flight, first and foremost the safety of our guests is paramount, and the flight heights is strictly regulated to all the operators for this reason, and also not to intrude too much on the experience of the visitors on the ground in the Victoria Falls Rainforest.

Booked w/a group of friends. Needed multiple helicopters which they easily accommodated for our big group. Went up in groups of 3 and 5. No real personal attention or interaction from ground or flight crew but the views were amazing and we were safe. Quick, efficient company. Safe operation. Only way to real see the area and Victoria Falls is from the air. I'd fly with them again!!
