It was warm and fuzzy, with jovial conversation with fellow passengers, on a mesmerising sunset cruise guided by Nigel and the team - such a treat - and the 2 - hour tour felt wayyyyy to short which is jam packed with beauty and wonder.

A crew is friendly. The drinks keep flowing. They even give you a little complimentary snack but I received a message before I got on board. Then I had to pay a $10 Park fee. I'm the only one that I was approached for that. Not sure why so I'm a little upset because of that

Very relaxing evening we saw lots of hippos and a couple of crocodiles and various birds. Great variety of drinks that were free flowing. Very enthusiastic dancers to see us off and welcome us back.

Viator states the activity leaves at 16:00, but on the day of the activity the tour operator messaged to say check in is at 16:15. We arrived at 16:00 as stated, boarded the boat, and then waited AN HOUR to leave the dock. The crew said they were waiting for other passengers and that leaving after 16:30 is ‘normal.’ We left the dock at 17:00. I requested a 50% refund from the operator due to an hour being wasted, which was denied 3 times. I then requested a 100% refund, which was denied. I then requested a refund through Viator, which was denied as the operator needs to approve it. There was no accountability from the operator, and their business practices are clearly unethical. Choose another provider rather.

Viator and our website both state the departure time as 16:00, which refers to the 30-minute pickup and boarding window, which is clearly stated on the booking platform
. The sunset cruise activity itself is scheduled to commence at 16:30, as clearly indicated in the booking information provided prior to arrival. Departing shortly after 16:30 is standard practice and allows all confirmed guests to be safely boarded.
On the day in question, our team communicated a 16:15 check-in reminder to assist with boarding flow, not to amend the scheduled time. As previously discussed with you, your party departed the dock approximately 18 minutes after arrival, and the vessel left once all passengers were accounted for.
Regarding your refund request, we carefully reviewed the matter multiple times and determined that the service was delivered as advertised and within the stated operating schedule. For this reason, we were unable to approve a refund request through Viator.
We regret that your expectations did not align with the operational structure of a shared sunset cruise, and we take all feedback seriously as we continue to improve guest communication. We wish you safe travels and appreciate you joining us on the Zambezi.

Nice stuff and they went above and beyond explaining the history of the place. On this sunset cruise we saw elephant calves playing in water, crocodiles, rare birds and hippos.

I choose this tour based on the reviews. Tour is least expensive from similar offers. however I did not find that they provided a lot of snacks they were some reviewers made you to beleive. During my tour they did provided a lot of different drinks including hard liquor, but fir the food' it was 4 small pieces of different bites and some peanuts. That was it. otherwise tour was fine.

Pick up was efficient and we had only a short drive to the boat. The crew were excellent, pointing out crocodiles and birds on the shore. We saw many elephants and hippos. We were offered more drinks and food than we could manage. The photos came out so well. The views at sunset were stunning. Very worthwhile

I booked this sunset cruise independently from my group tour because it was much more affordable and I was very satisfied. I was picked up/dropped off for my lodge, enjoyed both local beer and a mixed drink along with a variety of appetizers placed on individual plates. The staff was very responsive to both decks and made sure we were provided drinks as needed as well as sharing information about the river life. While we didn’t see any elephants, we did spot a few small crocodiles and LOTS of hippos. The sunset was a treat in itself and I wasn’t ready to leave the river or the crew, but alas, our cruise had come to an end.

Such a wonderful experience! Before the cruise, there was a cultural performance with dancing and singing. We cruised down the river, ate and drank, and saw crocodiles and hippos all around. The sunset was beautiful and so peaceful.

Started out a couples trip, ended a boat full of friends. Captain had 28 years of experience and it showed. Saw more on this sunset cruise than we did in Chobe. Drinks were cold and appetizers delicious. Book it and you won’t regret it.
