This community use this part of the delta for fishing, reed cutting and the harvesting of water lily bulbs. The mokoro is an integral part of these activities. This tour commences and ends in Maun. This activity is conducted by local mokoro community guides. Your qualified guide will take you in a mokoro (the traditional aquatic mode of transport, dugout canoe) through the water channels of the delta while you relax and enjoy listening to bird calls. You will also go for a guided bush walk on an island in the delta where you may encounter wildlife at ground level. The bird-life in the delta is spectacular.
