We had an amazing time learning to make Gelato with Silvia. She was so informative and all the recipes were delicious. She introduced us to unique topping flavorings like oil, balsamic, mint, and so many others. We would have never thought to put olive oil on Gelato but it was fantastic. The toppings added such a unique experience. We are so glad we booked this experience!

This was well worth our time and expense. Silvia had a personality perfectly suited for her occupation! We learned so much about making and selecting the right ingredients as well as enjoying meeting new people from all over the world. We would definitely take other classes if she were our teacher. Trying different toppings was also and unexpected treat and adventure.

Exceptional experience, not to be missed.

Such a wonderful and fabulous experience. We were greeted by Sylvia precisely on time at the exact point of contact and whisked away to a stylishly appointed professional kitchen. No sooner had we arrived that we were straight into the gelato making process, which thanks to Sylvia, was very approachable and easy. She was expert in her knowledge and was considered and thoughtful in response to the million questions she was fielding. Her passion about cooking and the experience that food offers was infectious and inspired my notoriously picky wife to try some things she had never tried before in her life. This was not just about following a recipe for gelato, it was about exploring different and seemingly conflicting flavours to open up new avenues of taste. Cannot recommend highly enough and make sure to request Sylvia if you can!

We had an amazing time with Sylvia learning how to make gelato and what to use as toppings. Our 3 year old little girl got stuck in with the melting and mixing and definitely the eating!! It was a great experience, perfect for a slightly rainy afternoon in Verona. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

This was such a fun and unique experience. I enjoyed the small group setting, as it allowed for engagement and enabled everyone to participate in the process. I believe we made 5 different flavors as a group, and got to try a full cup of each one + a bunch of unique toppings. My husband and I really enjoyed the experience. Definitely don't eat beforehand haha!

It was a beautiful experience to make homemade gelato. I loved meeting other travelers around this wonderful world. I got to eat 5 different kinds of gelato and I helped make 3 of them. It was unique because there was so many condiments to add to the gelato that I would have never thought of (peppercorn, olive oil, balsamic vinagarette, etc.)

Very fun experience making gelato! Instructors were fun and knowledgeable. We made 4 kinds of gelato and 1 sorbet. During the tasting they also provided us with different condiments to try with each flavor, we had a lot of fun experimenting! We were so full of yummy gelato at the end! I would definitely recommend if you’re in Verona!

Our hosts were amazing. We attended with two children a 2 yo and 7 yo. The event was engaging, and our gelato was super yummy. Verona is a beautiful city and the tour was the cherry on top. Lovely and fun experience for the whole family. It was really simple and fun making gelato with this class. We had a great time and tased new flavors. Who knew balsamic vinegar or peppercorns were so good with gelatto. A great activity to do if coming to Verona!

Wonderful time making gelato with kids ranging in age from 4 to 10. The space was beautiful, and the class was well organized. Laura and Cristina had us make 4 different kinds of gelato and one fruit sorbet using different techniques for each. It was fully participatory for all of us. This was the perfect activity for a multi-generational family.

Had a great time making gelato with Max and Laura. They have a purpose built kitchen in Verona so feels like you are in a real culinary school. Our group made 5 different gelatos and then sat down to eat them all together. Fantastic experience!

OMG-Amazing experience! We made five gelatos/sorbets and tasted them with >10 add-in flavors. The chefs were so knowledgeable about ingredients, flavor combinations, and methods. They were also personable and happy to answer all questions. I can’t wait to make gelato at home!

This was a fantastic and very enjoyable class. We would highly recommend it. I’m off to purchase a gelato machine now as the recipes we made were so tasty. Thank you for a great afternoon. We did try to book last year but it was fully booked so our tip is book as soon as you plan your next trip to Verona. Only negative is one family had a poorly child - not the the organisers fault but did make us feel uncomfortable as he was coughing and sneezing.

I’m not a fan of “organised trips” but this was truly excellent. Max (host) is so, so humble, funny, engaging and genuinely informative. I can’t stand ice cream but ate my first chocolate one in 30 years. And a sorbet. Brilliant afternoon out. Such a clean, professional and sexy kitchen for the session.

Absolutely incredible experience worth every penny. Those that were teaching the class were incredibly intelligent in what they were teaching and did an excellent job in making sure no one was left behind in the group. The gelato you make tastes incredible and being able to put unique toppings on each one you make was a fun experience. Definitely recommend!

We booked the Gelato making class as a family as we have two younger kids (10 and 6) and we all had a blast. The teachers were great and everyone was involved helping make and taste an excellent range of Gelato. It was something that was truly memorable for our kids and an experience that they won’t forget. If you’re looking for a unique experience and something fun to do with the family this is it.
