Begin your morning or afternoon biking adventure in downtown Vancouver at the bike rental shop, where you meet your friendly guide. After a quick safety briefing and a bike and helmet fitting, set off on an invigorating nature ride through Stanley Park, a 1,000-acre (405-hectare) city oasis. This park trail and bike-lane circuit is perfect for any level of rider.
Enjoy picturesque urban and pastoral views as your guide takes you into Stanley Park and along the perimeter seawall over the course of the tour. Bounded by water on three sides, Stanley Park offers great views of Burrard Inlet, the North Shore Mountains, and the Vancouver skyline. As you ride, stop to snap photos and hear fascinating stories about Vancouver’s colorful history as a logging town.
Catch chance sightings of resident herons, river otters and bald eagles—maybe even spot one of the 15 bald eagle nests in the park. Learn about the lagoon’s transformation from a tidal flat to a bio-filtration marsh, and pedal on to Brockton Point to view the amazing First Nations totems poles—a must-do for all native history enthusiasts.
Afterwards, cycle through the park’s wooded trails to explore a temperate rain forest, and to view Beaver Lake and the park’s famous 700-year-old cedar tree. Your final stop is Third Beach, a secluded city retreat on Ferguson Point. Enjoy some quiet time on the beach before heading back to town.

Stanley Park is beautiful, and this was the perfect way to experience the park in a limited amount of time. Zach was a fantastic guide-ensuring everyone felt safe on the bikes and that he covered topics we were interested in.
Carolyn_C, Sep 2025
Great way to see Vancouver and learn some history and interesting facts! Zach was an excellent tour guide! We took multiple stops/breaks along the way to sight-see and learn something new. From the beach, to the Seawall, to Stanley Park - it was about an 8-9 mile ride and is probably good if you've at least biked a little before. Wouldn't have started off my Vancouver visit any other way!

There is a pack on each bike to carry water, snacks etc. no need to carry a backpack. If you have one you can leave it at the store. A very easy ride

We did the 3 hour Stanley Park with Zack. He was super friendly, knowledgeable & even took the time to look up the answer to an obscure question. He projected his voice well and gave clear instructions about the upcoming sections we were about to encounter. It is a pleasurable way to see a beautiful city, it was mostly flat , and we were able to enjoyably cover a lot of ground.

What a fantastic experience and a great way to see parts of Vancouver along with Stanley Park. Blair was a fantastic guide for our bike ride. He provided insights and humor throughout the tour. Nothing was too strenuous, and was enjoyed by all. I really enjoyed going through the center of Stanley Park and seeing the trees. Such a great experience

It's wonderful to hear you had such a great time with Blair, Jason! We're happy to show off the beautiful forests in Stanley Park, it's one of our favourite places right in the calm centre of all those trees!

The Stanley Park tour was amazing! Zack was very knowledgeable and I really enjoyed his tour. He covered “the good, the bad, and the ugly” of Vancouver and I appreciated hearing about the true history of the Indigenous peoples of the area. There was a lot of variety in our stops and what he covered. It was a fantastic way to get to know the city and a doable bike ride for most.

City Cycles are a professional and friendly organisation. Good bikes and a focus on safety. My guide was Brian who was very knowledgeable and engaging. Multiple stops to learn about Vancouver and the environment. We were blessed with amazing weather - sunny 22C, a perfect route and distance to make it a very enjoyable 3 hours.

Wonderful, energizing and relaxing way to see the city and discover many hidden gems. Our entire group of 60-year-old ladies agreed that it was the perfect ending to our Vancouver adventure. Appreciated the hospitality, grace, kindness and enthusiasm of the knowledgeable staff. Well done!

I loved Stanley Park. It’s better than Central Park! There was so much to see. I can’t wait to go back and visit it again!
Kieran_P, Apr 2025
Lovely tour of the park. Saw places that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Especially liked the stop at Beaver Lake. The saddle on one of our bikes was uncomfortable so make sure to check properly before you head off.
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Thanks for the review! Beaver Lake is also a favorite place for us too.
We have alternate saddles available on request and would have been happy to swap it for you, just needed to hear from you ;-) Thanks again for joining us!
Jose_L, Apr 2025
If you like riding, this a great place to do it! Chris, our guide, is excellent. Equipment is great and the city provides the space to do it properly and safely.
