Itinerary
Make your own way to the meeting point in Vancouver’s Gastown neighborhood. Meet your guide and group and hit the streets of Gastown.
While your guide provides background information about local history and Vancouver’s culinary heritage, make your way to several local businesses for samples of their signature dishes and a few beverages (a non-alcohol option is always available). Possible dishes include Japanese *karage* chicken, freshly made Sicilian tortellini with local wine, traditional Canadian poutine, decadent waffles, and locally made craft beer.
Finally, with a belly full of delicious eats, your tour ends a few minutes’ walk from the meeting point.

- Special dietary requests can be accommodated with 24 hours advanced notice. Our tour partners do their best to accommodate most dietary requests but please keep in mind that alternative food options may not be up to par to original tastings. Cross contamination are always a possibility and tour company cannot take responsibility for any possible reactions. NOTE: We are unable to accept bookings for children under 19 with severe food allergies eg. nut allergy etc.
- Tour is approx 2:5-3 hours long and covers approx. 5 blocks. 6 of the stops are sit down. Tour is on a schedule, although slower paced as tour guides stop during tour to show interesting points of interest in the neighbourhood.
- Please arrive hungry and dress for the weather. Tour operates rain or shine. Vancouver tends to get a lot of rain October-April so please bring an umbrella or rain jacket and wear comfortable shoes.
- There are 3 stops with stairs and only one has an elevator. If you have restricted mobility issues the tour may not be suitable for you.
- Persons under the age of 19 must be accompanied by an adult
- Family friendly (note that tour cannot accommodate strollers due to smaller venues and stairs)
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 16 travelers

Think of it as a pub crawl meets progressive dinner with a garnish of local stories. This tour provides a different course at each stop accompanied by local wine and brew tastings (non-alcohol beverages also available).
This is the best food tour we have ever taken. David was our tour guide and he did an amazing job. He shared so many interesting and entertaining stories about the Gastown neighborhood. This was definitely more than just a food tour.
It was the best food we have ever been on!! Will was the best!! His planning & organization of restaurants & inclusiveness of everyone was excellent!! We would do this food tour again in a heartbeat!!
Andrea was awesome! Places we stopped were nice, clean and accommodating. Good food at all stops, if you’re not a wine drinker, only water or lemonade options (just FYI). Good value for $. We had a great time.
Sean was a fabulous tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and engaging, but the food and wine fell short. Overall the food was okay, but very heavy and somewhat bland and boring. The wines were actually very good, but minute pours of around 1.5 - 2.0 oz. at our first two stops was a little too little. The best dish was a salad with lardons and goat cheese, but the portion size was maybe 2 - 3 bites. Enjoyed the tour and Sean’s witty commentary, but the tour fell short on the food and wine and we felt it was overpriced for what we got.

We walked around Gastown and stopped at a series of pubs and restaurants. Food and drinks were excellent and our tour guide Andrea was wonderful. We really appreciated her history about Vancouver!
Sean made this food tour so much fun! We had a din and large variety of foods and he shared anuch interesting facts about historic Gastown!
Best food tour in Vancouver. David was a wonderful tour guide he just didn't took us to restaurants he walk with us through Vancouver old town and explain everything about the neighborhood therefore we pay for a city guide + a food tour. The restaurants that David choose were outstanding with more than enough food plus 2 deserts. The price with pay for the tour was real value considering what we get.
Learn the history with a flare. Our tour guide David was outstanding. I love the hip culture of Vancouver and the restaurants were unique and delicious. I will do it all over again.
The group was engaging with each other which was great. Our guide Connor was funny and knowledgeable. Glad we got to do this after having to cancel a year ago when we're here due to an emergency.

We had a fun time with Sean, visiting a variety of restaurants! The food was delicious, there was plenty to eat and drink while we learned a little about Vancouver too! We had a big group from Australia, Canada and the US and everyone interacted to share our travels and adventures. Not too much walking overall. So fun, I highly recommend it!

Nice walking food tour exploring Gastown. Visited 7 restaurants which also included beer and wine. Walked in the rain but had a great time. Would have liked a list of restaurants with addresses to go back and visit later.

Make sure you are hungry before you go on this food tour and be ready to learn about the area in which you are about to walk! Daniel was a great and knowledgeable tour guide into Gastown and very accommodating. He asked where we were from and any food allergies or preferences. We started at the very beginning of Gastown and worked towards the center and then eventually to the end of the district. We made stops along the way and learned about the history of Gastown, which actually is the beginnings of Vancouver . At the center of Gastown is the Steam Clock and we happened to arrive at the top of the hour to experience the clock expelling steam and performing a tune to our delight. We went to 7 different restaurants and had a great time. I highly recommend taking this tour!

We very much Enjoyed the delicious food and wine on this tour! And our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, he gave us a lot of Great information (sometimes a bit too much) however the area was filled with homeless people and drug addicts, not our tour guides fault! but we observed several people who were openly doing drugs on the street!
David was an excellent tour guide. He was friendly, funny, and informative about the history of Gastown. The food was yummy and filling.
We visited 7 different restaurants and enjoyed appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts, wine, and beer. Our guide, Sean, was fun, informative, and created a very engaging and memorable experience. We didn’t want it to end! Not one thing was disappointing. I highly recommend this experience.

Sean was a spectacular tour guide.
There were approximately 16 people in our tour, and he made everybody feel at home and feel as if we were all friends. His timing was so perfect that we got to see all that the tour had to offer at the exact time that the events took place. The food was spectacular. I would recommend this tour to everybody who visits Vancouver.
