Quick, but great visit to Victoria. The Butchart Gardens were beautiful. Well worth the trip. Our guide, Joel, not only provided a ton of information, but also provided comedy. He and Mohammad, our driver, were so much fun. I highly recommend the tour.

Matt and Tai were fantastic duo. Tai drove us all over and Matt led the charge with lots of animal sightings and patience with our kids. We enjoyed the walking tour and the gardens. The bus was very nice and comfortable.

Great overview of Victoria and Butchart Gardens. There was time to eat breakfast on the ferry going to Vancouver Island and lunch on the island. Also, food was available on the return trip of the ferry

Great day trip -- day seems long but you cover a lot! Guide (Joe) and driver (Tai) were excellent. The recommendation of getting lunch at Red Fish Blue Fish (which was tasty) took up a lot of time that could have been spent seeing more of Victoria.

Pros: easy and convenient tour with hotel pickup

It was a long day, but worth it. Annika was very informative and friendly and the bus driver did a great job.
The bus was new and very comfortable-
The tv that showed the road ahead was very cool. But after the first stop on the ferry, they were no longer on. I texted Annika to see if they could be turned back on but no response (We were in the mid-back of the bus and didn't want to shout) Also, it was a little difficult to hear everything she said.
But Victoria is beautiful and the Gardens were amazing. The ferry ride was nice too.

Joe and Tai were an exceptional duo for our all day adventure. We were picked up from our hotel in a very nice and comfy sprinter van. They took us to a motorcoach which was our transportation for the days event. The motorcoach was top of the line and it was plenty of seating for everyone on board... it even had reclining seats for a nice nap on our way home. Tai was an amazing and safe driver while Joe was a knowledgeable and patient guide. I would highly recommend this tour as it gave us time on the sweet island of Victoria and allowed plenty of time in Butchart Gardens. Take the tour!

Victoria is very different from Vancouver -- quiet and scenic, and full of British style. It's a great complementary trip if you visit Vancouver. Our trip was well designed -- sufficient time in Victoria and Butcher's Garden for self-exploration. Star Sightseeing has such a great organization and planning of the trip -- our guide Joe and driver Maggie are not only friendly, knowledgeable, and fun, but also super professional and full of ownership! They also managed to arrive at the ferry 30 mins earlier, so that we got to Victoria earlier with extra time.

Bryon, our driver and Matt the guide were an excellent duo. Friendly, on schedule, optimistic and so kind . They went above and beyond on helping me with my drop off location that was not included on the tour.
Be prepared for a long day (740am to 1030pm) yet worth the price. Your transportation is a new and clean large bus with excellent a/c. You will have ample time to see the gardens and the city itself. Bring your snacks, water was given out for free.
If time was a factor, opt to shoot for more for time in the city vs garden as there are more things to see and do in Victoria. The garden is beautiful and my favorite was the sunken garden. The roses were meticulously cared for not to mentioned it was fun to read all the clever unique names of each rose and see the country and year it was harvested. Yet 1- 1.5 hours is ample time.
If weather is good, make sure to sit on the sun deck of the Ferry. Get your ass outside! We had a picture perfect experience and the weather was beyond good.

This was such a great tour! We had a wonderful time in Victoria! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable in where were the best places to eat and fun things to see! While we were at the Butchart Gardens, our tour became a private tour! Bryon was so kind to volunteer to push my friend who was in a wheelchair. Then he also explained a lot about the gardens! I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Well worth all day. We went back and forth between flying over there or taking the bus and ferry. It would have been a shorter day flying, the relaxation of the bus and ferry were a welcomed experience.

Disappointed! Very long day travelling, not enough time in Victoria and too much time in Butchart Gardens for us, although they are beautiful especially the sunken gardens, beautiful coach for the journey however discouraged from using toilet and mobile phone. Expensive trip to be rushed sightseeing in Victoria and then sitting at dock for almost 90 minutes waiting on next boat home at the end of the day.

Bus was clean and comfortable. Our guide Joe was very informative and kind. Nice personality. Joe had planned timing very well. The only con was the hours of transport. We were gone 13+ hours. Butchart Gardens was beautiful. Joe recommended the restaurant that we ate our lunch. It was a tasty meal.

Joe (tour guide) did an excellent job narrating and keeping us on schedule; we even got an earlier ferry back to Vancouver. The ferry ride was fun with beautiful scenery of the many small islands. The Vancouver ferry terminal has several good eating spots and many shopping opportunities. Victoria was a lovely place. Buchart gardens was unique with amazing colors; roses were in full bloom. It was a long day but a lovely experience. HIghly recommended.

It’s a very long day but totally worth it! The guide Byron and driver Simian were fabulous! We visited Victoria on Vancouver Island first and after a tour of the city on the bus we stopped for lunch. Then into the Butchart gardens - WOW just amazing. Byron was very passionate and knowledgeable about the island so a splendid day indeed!
