The excursion was nice. My only complaint is we asked the guide to provide history of the black kingdom in Spain as well as the Christian and Jewish kingdoms. He was more than happy and very knowledgeable about the Christian and Jewish communities in early Spain but did not care to speak about the Moores which was a shame. Learning about the Moores was the reason we splurged on this excursion.

We always strive to give our guests the most enjoybale experience possible, so are very sorry to hear you weren't fully satisfied regarding the Moorish history in Sagunto. The Moorish Empire, and later the Moorish taifas were a big part of Valencian history, as they were here for over 500 years in this area. Unfortunatley, not a great deal of tangible evidence is left in this area, like in the south of Spain, although our rich orange fields and excellently engineered irrigation systems that the Valencia area is known for, is thanks to their culturual and technological advances and their legacy does live on in many less tangible ways.
