The captain was warm, friendly and very much enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the area with us. The boat was comfortable and we had a lovely afternoon. Highly recommend!

The tour was canceled on the day we had scheduled due to weather so we were able to go the day before. It was just us two! David, the captain of the vessel, made the experience an amazing one. Although the waters were a bit rough, he maintained the ship very well. The catamaran was definitely luxury.

Just the four of us and the trip was focused on our interests of the area during
World War II. The owner and skipper, a kind and charming young man, gave us some history of his family and their experiences during that time.

Was excellent start to finish. Saw the things we hoped to see and more. Stories were interesting, treats hit the spot, hot chocolate was appreciated by all. Boat was very comfortable, scenery amazing.

Our guide Arno was very courteous and polite. He was quite informative and made the cruise interesting . The warm coffee was welcome . The scenery around was beautiful. It was time well spent.

The trip began on a sunny day, despite rain was threaten in the distance. The Capitan Arnold was the most interesting and pleasant person. Treated all of us like he knew us for a while. The cruising through the Fjord was so tranquil that give us a sense of been in a movie. We loved the waterfalls and the Submarine hanger. We try fishing and to hope for a good Halibut or Cod catch. Loved the hospitality

Such an amazing experience! The captain was very knowledgeable and shared history. He pointed out a whale on our journey as well. Really recommend this fjord cruise for those who don’t want to do a full day. The scenery was incredibly beautiful. Would totally do it again!

From different angle to view Tromso Island, amazing discoveries of those normally would not be able to see including residential houses around coast line, the landmark buildings etc.

The boat was good and clean. Everything was on time. The ride was enjoyable but we really did not got to the Fjords - we cruised along the coast to a beginning of remote place… we did not experience the proper fjords-that’s the ripe off for the amount of money we paid!

It was a very nice catamaran and Clement was great but it was really cold so we ended up just boating around and could not see any animals or enjoy the views.

The person Who Took Us with him Was A biologist and I loved to hear his stories and what He is doing for the wellbeing of nature and It Was A Beautiful trip (and Catching A Fish was also a very Special moment for my son Who was holding the Rod.) I felt very welcome! I would definitely recommend it to other people

A fantastic tour of the fjords by a small catamaran. The group on board was very small and the skipper Clement was excellent and very informative. The fjords are wonderful and lovely scenery. How peaceful, would have been more than happy to stay onboard very peaceful. Saw seals in their natural environment which how it should be with all marine mammals.

We had an extremely memorable trip , with amazing scenery, and a fantastic captain. We sailed along the Fjords with a small friendly group. You could stay outside and see the spectacular scenery, and just pop into the cabin for hot drinks and refreshments when you needed some warmth. Would highly recommend this trip. Huge thanks to the captain.

This trip was awesome, we were made very welcome and comfortable on the catamaran.
Our captain was very knowledgable and gave us great information about Tromso and its history, he had some amazing stories to tell, due to his family connections to Tromso.
We would throughly recommend this tour and would not hesitate to do it again.

Terrible! Arrived 1 hr early at departure point - printed on acknowledgement . Waited until 10:00 am at dock area - NO BOAT . Asked at Scanic Hotel for help. They said “maybe at cruise center”. Ran 1/4 mile to cruise center asked for help at the Hertz office . Kind person went outside to help us look - No Boat ! Through all this had to run with my nearly blind wife.
Went back to hotel to ask if they would call Northern Cruises to explain dilemma maybe could go Saturday ? Hotel staff tried numerous times received only phone message. Would keep trying for me. Tried to email including Captain who runs the company plus his wife (I think) in charge of sales. Emails listed on acknowledgement were rejected. Tried 5 different times same result. Finally in frustration hotel staff got in touch with Viator told story. We requested a refund
were concerned if Northern Yachting we’re so hard to contact on land what if there were an emergency on the water ? Would they know how to contact Coast Guard ?
It seems Northern Yachting is focused on communicating with customers via cell phone. Our USA cell system is not robust like European system. My Apple cell only works -sometimes - in Europe and Scandinavia . I even tried Apple mail which was rejected by Northern Yachting. Had they emailed the meeting point change I would have received it on my Apple phone as with all other I get. I know Northern Yachting will have some excuse or blame me - all wrong.
I cannot forgive dragging my nearly blind and out of breath wife across a quarter mile to find the boat, which I never did. - She wanted to experience the cruise and was the reason I booked. Never to be.
Please give me my refund and go away.
