We had a lovely day on the boat, staff were very friendly and attentive. We saw couple of dolphins in the water and had a nice lunch on board.

Thank you for your replay! It always helps us improve! It is correct what the skipper mentioned. If we have people on-board who get Sea-sick then we can not turn back for the sake of the other passengers who are not Sea-sick. We will try to make it as comfortable as possible for them and in most cases they will recover once we are at anchor. One of the solutions of sea-sickness is swimming. (We have experience with this).
On every trip there will be a stop. The lenght of such a stop depends on different factors. Time is limited our first and most important goal is to find the whales. Sometimes we find them after 30 minutes sometimes it takes us an hour to find them or even more. the second priority are the dolphins and the third priority are the turtles. These are wild animals and we can not program where or when they will be. After having spend time with them we go to an anchorage. At the anchorage you will receive the food, drinks and you have time to swim or snorkel or use the paddle-board.
Depending on how much time we spend looking after the whales there is mostly time left for some swimming, snorkeling and/or use the paddle.
some people choose to stay on-board and spend time eating and chatting. Others take a swim, snorkel or use the paddle. The trip will always be a minimum of 3 hours but can last up to 4 hours. In your case we had indeed people on-board who were seasick. And that’s the reason he cut the trip on 3:25 minutes.
We have already taken action and asked viator to change the hours to 3 hours. This way people will not complain that the trip was too short.
As a company we do regret you didn’t like the trip but we thank you anyhow for your response. Have a nice holiday and as i understood you were looking to buy a catamaran. I hope you do and you will understand our issues more. Thank you. Enjoy your stay in tenerife.

Déception il. Annoncé 4 heures d excursion à moins de trois heures le bateau était au port. De plus arrêt pour nager à peine 20 minutes dans une mer agité. Plus judicieux de se mettre dans une crique. Pour le prix à ne pas faire

Again the boat trip announces an approximately of 4 hours. In fact it is 3-4 hours. in order to avoid further confusion we have asked viator to change the publication to 3 hours. (they don't let you mention 3/4 hours. It's one or the other. (i don't think people will complain that an excursion last 30 minutes more). You came on-board at 10:20 and the boat left the harbour at 10:30. We are obliged by law to give you a safety briefing before departure and due to covid we need to register your name and contact details. Our application register exact the time when this was done. According to our registry this was registered on 10:24. The time of the excursion starts when you arrive on-board. The boat has a GPS registry which register every movement of the vessel. The Vessel came into the marina at 14:08 , was parked at 14:15. Furthermore, we would like to mention that we are unable to control the sea state. The condition of the sea is something we can not manage. You are Sailing in the Atlantic ocean and yes she can sometimes be agitated.
What's the reason why we can not exactly determine when we will be back. As you mentioned yourself a lot depend on the sea conditions and the conditions of the passengers. (Both which we can not control) We always try to give the customers as much time as possible. However as you mentioned yourself when the sea condition is not optimal we will come back earlier to avoid the passengers getting sick. If passengers are already sick we will give them a minimum of 3 hours and also come back earlier because sea-sickness is not a funny experience.
If we don't find the whales within the time limit we will extent the excursion in order to give you a change to see the whales. For us there is no mal intent and you mentioning that we are deceiving clients is very offensive. So, next time you write something keep it to the facts, however we will change the hours published to 3hours so people can expect the minimum and will be happy to be longer on the water. Thank you for your reply and hopeful you still have a nice vacation.
