Overview
Depart Costa Adeje and head out in the ocean for a tour with a special purpose—to look for local marine life such as pilot whales, spotted dolphins, and bottlenose dolphins. Heading out on an organized tour has the advantage that the staff know where whales and dolphins have been spotted before to help maximize your chances of sightings. As well as spotting marine life, the trip has the added perk of an open bar and sandwiches and snacks to enjoy.

It was a beautiful 4 hour cruise with many vistas and a decent meal with free beer and soft drinks; minimal whale and dolphin sightings and not much communication about what you were seeing along the cruise. Did offer a swim at a beautiful cove which we didn’t partake in, but everyone looked like it was enjoyable.

Big catamaran and well organised . Lunch veer poor unless you like tinned meatballs , no choice of offering . Would be so much easier to just offer a fresh sandwich and fruit !Sunbeds across front on boat ‘ Freebird’chargeable at 25 Euros each supposedly for 2 people . Actually only big enough for 2 very petite people or 2 kids ! Drink choice limited and served in thimble sized cups . The whales were great !!

Good experience to do once. The team was very professional and you feel that they are used to it!!
Good to do once and for a first time. I will for sure do it again but on a more intimate boat.
The boat was great, the team also and the food was ok for such a trip!!
Ming that if you have issues with boats you should avoid going on a boat that goes on open water!! There were too many people sick (perhaps 10) out of the large group of around 80 people on the boat!!
I would recommend for a first visit, and if in April definitely choose the afternoon one as in the morning it would have been too cold with the usual wind!! Also plan a vest to protect of the wind.

A beautiful day out on the sea. We were lucky to spot spotted and bottle nose dolphins 😁 and the resident pilot whales. The crew was nice, information excellent, food so la la but that wasn’t what we went for!

Boat was nice, enthusiastic hosts and did see whales and swim in the see but very overpriced for what you get- the ‘free bar’ only consists of 200ml plastic cups of beer, no other option and not an option to pay for something better. I would much rather pay for better alcohol on board. Everyone had their pictures taken at the beginning- I expected to view these on a screen at the end before deciding if I wanted to purchase, but they printed all of them out and then offered people to buy them, not many did, meaning a lot of photo paper in the bin- terrible for the environment! Also the advertised sandwiches and snacks were chicken paella, salad and a bread roll- to be fair it was tasty but not as advertised!

The trip was well organised and we saw dolphins, however when first got on the boat we were informed that passengers often feel sick so if they did would they kindly go to the back of the boat. Most did except 1 lady who continued to vomit in front of us ( very off putting when you’ve been given paella to eat) cabin crew didn’t ask her to move which displayed little respect for all the other passengers

Loved swimming in the sea as seeing the dolphins. All the staff were very friendly and food and drinks were great. I thought the sun beds were a bit pricey though

We were able to see whales and dolphins. Beautiful scenery at Los Gigantes. It would be better if the crew enforced the mask mandate. And the bus could have better air conditioning.

Es war ein phantastischer Tripp! Tolles Wetter, tolles Schiff, tolle Mannschaft, lecker Essen und Trinken. Viiiieeel Zeit! Und sogar Delphine gesehen!!! Ein einmaliges Erlebnis!!! Sehr empfehlenswert!!! Allerdings sollte man seefest sein. :-)

Bei diesem Wellengang verstehe ich nicht, warum das Boot überhaupt ausgelaufen ist. Es hat niemand vom Personal nach den Passagiere geschau, keine schutzwesten , keine Sicherung.....
Jeder, der sich ein wenig mit Walen oder Delphinen beschäftigt weiss,dass bei d
iesen Wetter keine Fische bzw. Wale auftauchen. Geldmacherei und gefährlich für die Passagiere bei diesem starken Wellengang.

La experiencia es buena aunque vamos muchas personas. El personal de la tripulación súper amable y atento. El paseo en barco agradable, aunque no vimos ballenas, si que pudimos ver algún delfín y fuimos a los gigantes.

DieFahrt entlang der Küste war sehr schön, das Meer ruhig und die Küstenlandschaft beeindruckend. Die Mannschaft an Bord war sehr freundlich; Getränke gab es genug. Die angekündigte Paella erwies sich leider als Gemüsereis mit so etwas wie Fleischbällchen. Der Begriff „ in kleiner Gruppe“ ist auch sehr dehnbar; waren wohl eher 50 Personen……😉
Viele Wale haben wir jetzt nicht gesehen, waren gerade mal vier kleine. War trotzdem ein schönes Erlebnis.

Parece mentira que me pregunten cómo lo han hecho. Una sola palabra: FATAL. 5 adultos y tres niños 6-9 años ilusionados con la excursión, cuando llevábamos 25 minutos en el punto de recogida que Viator me envió el día 9 de agosto (puerta del hotel según google maps) y no venía nadie a buscarnos llamamos por teléfono y nos dijeron que el punto de recogida era otro, que era culpa nuestra no haber estado allí y que por lo tanto perdíamos el dinero pagado. Pueden imaginarse el disgusto y la decepción de todos, sobretodo de los niños. Es muy raro que el chófer al no encontrar a ocho personas no llamara a la central y ellos a mi teléfono móvil para ver qué pasaba, ¿no les parece?. Al final tras horas perdidas al teléfono nos dijeron que nos devolvían el 50% a lo cual me negué. Al cabo de unas horas me dijeron que me reintegraban la totalidad, como así ha sido. En resumen: servicio desastroso, mala atención, incompetencia y malos modos por teléfono. Una experiencia muy mala.

It’s disappointing that you write this review considering we sent you all the pick up details, pick up times, location, pictures of exactly where you were to be picked up and you even confirmed all this by WhatsApp. You then ignored our instructions and waited at your hotel and not the pick up point we clearly instructed you to wait at. Then when you weren’t picked up as you weren’t at the correct location you rang us and were abusive to the lady on the phone who was extremely upset by the way you spoke to her. Instead of taking responsibility for the mistake you made, you proceeded to threaten us with a bad review which you gave anyway even though we refunded you in full! Should anyone want to see the full details and proof of all this we are happy to show you.

Leider ließ der Service zu wünschen übrig. Kostenlose Getränke wurden angeboten, aber nur wenn man sich durch das stark schaukelnde Boot kämpfte und sich etwas holte. Das Essen wurde zum Platz gebracht, Getränke nicht. Auch mit dem Kartenlesegerät konnte die Crew gut zu jedem Gast gelangen. Essen war ok.
Nach der Tour stand jemand mit dem Körbchen für Tipp am Ausgang.

Beau catamaran avec transats payants pour admirer les falaises de los gigantes la côte sud de Tenerife et le top d’admirer les dauphins et les baleines
Tout cela avec un bon repas (paella) avec boisson à volonté
Je recommande vivement

Tripulación muy atenta, pendiente de todo.
A pesar de la suavidad de la travesía mucha gente se mareo, incomprensible.
El catamaran tuvo que entrar en el puerto de los gigantes para que bajara un pasajero que decía "que se moría", la maniobra de entrada, giro y salida del pequeño puerto fue asombrosa, impecable, ¡Qué pericia! Capitán, Eso es saber navegar, impresionante. Solo por eso ya hubiese merecido la pena.

Esta bien organizado y el catamaran es boníto asi como la excursion. Pero una Vez ya se ve un grupo de 4 delfines y otro de 3-4 calderones ya lo dan por bueno y no van a buscar mas. No explican nada sobre la vida marina, muy al grano para cumplir. Me hubiera gustado mas interès en ver mas animales y mas explicaciones cientificas.
