Although the weather did not cooperate we had an amazing tour. Pick up was perfect they even arrived early! Communication was smooth before tour. Hamid was an excellent guide. Would highly recommend.

This trip was fantastic and everyone in my group gives it 5 starts. We recommend asking for Majid to be your guide as he has a lot of knowledge and gave great information about the history of Tangier. He was also very accommodating to our group because a few people had mobility issues. He arranged an amazing lunch for us and took us to a very clean private restroom. This was a great tour and I would 100% book it again.

Great private tour! We enjoyed the camel ride and moving at our own pace seeing the major attractions. It’s much better than going with a group. The guide was able to customize the tour for us.

Abdul was wonderful. He was waiting for us at the dock. He explained everything to us clearly and we very much enjoyed our time. We did camel ride which was fun and enjoyed shopping in the old market. Abdul was very kind, patient and considerate with my older parents. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend him.

The drive through the city and Hamid's description and explanation of the city and cultures. We were tickled to get our picture on a camel and family raved about. The traditional lunch was enjoyable and food was quite good. The market place (fish market was eye opening) and the Medina were interesting and Hid did a good job explaining.

Unfortunately, this type of tour wasn't meant for you. I wish you had read the detailed description before you booked, we would have avoided this unfair review. Besides, the Hercules caves visit is optional and we don't set the price for this monument.
When you visited it the entrance fee was EUR6, now it has become EUR 8. We can do nothing about that 🤷♀️

The tour says "private", but when we arrived, they placed us in a van with two other groups of 6 travellers. This should have been listed as a "small group" tour at the very least. Additionally, one of the groups had booked a 6-hour tour, so it was impossible to accommodate their request.
There was no water provided in the van, which was pretty odd given the high temperature of the day. The tour itself was rushed as a result, with several stops either completely missed or driven past with a mention (Tangier American Legation Museum, Cap Spartel, Achakkar Beach, Caves of Hercules). The kicker was that lunch was at a tourist trap restaurant, which was overpriced for bland Moroccan food. The entire experience was just a wasted opportunity.

That is not correct, sir. Ten days prior to your arrival on the Celebrity Equinox cruise, we asked if you would join the other two groups. We explained our reasons, and you agreed without hesitation, as did the other two groups.
To show our gratitude for your flexibility, we refunded part of your payment and upgraded your tour from 4 hours to a full-day tour of Tangier. We still have the record of our conversation.
Had you declined our request, we would have either honored your original 4-hour private tour reservation or canceled it so you could find another option.

Very professional guides, customized the trip and worked with our schedule. Everything was great except for the store visit shakedowns. So would suggest asking not to go to any stores unless you want pressure sales or really do want to buy scarves, jewelry or spices.

Hamid was a knowledgeable guide and driver was very good. However when you choose a private tour you don’t want to go to where the large groups are taken. We were taken to a restaurant that we were not given a menu and was told we had 3 choices to pick from. And then the bill was $100 plus really for that lunch. Would have preferred to go to a traditional restaurant were all the large groups were not taken. Then we were taken to two stores of their choosing and one herb store. We really did not get to see the bazaar as we could see the stores. The first part of the tour was excellent. But disappointed with lunch and the bazaar.

Our policy is that our guides suggest restaurants and let our guests decide. Same, at the request of our guests, if they decided to shop, we strictly direct our guides to listen carefully and make suggestions concerning the types of shops and bazaars wanted.
Somehow, those two points were not respected. We are deeply sorry for that. There are certainly some actions to be taken.

We couldn't have done this tour without Ahmeed. He was incredible. He took care of us from the point we met him at the port terminal at 9:30.. Extremely informative and friendly. He also helped us avoid some of the more persistent shop keepers. We learned so much from him.
Tangier is an amazing place. Ahmeed knows everyone. He listened to our interests and even added a couple stops based on what he heard. He made sure we had an authentic Moroccan meal that was outstanding. He also took time to make sure we could get the spices we were wanting.
It was only supposed to be 4 hours. But Ahmeed didn't want us to waste time waiting in the port. He took us to some extra places and dropped us off at 4:30.
You definitely need to add this tour to your plans.

My mother and i had a wonderful day with our guides! They have a great vehicle to take you around and see the sites. Both guides have lots of knowledge of Tangier and answered all our questions. They took us to lots of locations we never would have found and customized the trip to things we wanted to see.
The driver even surprised us w a box of moroccan cookies after he dropped us off. Highly recommend this trip!

Unforgettable and very pleasant visit of Tanger thanks to the constant care and detailed explanations of our guide. The trip was partly in an air-conditioned vehicle driven carefully by Latif and then on foot through the Medina with Latif, a very knowledgeable gentleman. These two gentlemen went the extra Mile and exceeded the 4 hour initially planned with smiles.

Nous avons réservé une visite guidée de 4 heures pour 3 adultes. Nous avons été accueillis par Abdul et Hamid. Ce fût deux guides extraordinaires, ils étaient très complémentaires l’un et l’autre, ils s’adaptaient à nos demandes. Nous nous sommes sentis entre bonnes mains durant toute notre visite du début à la fin. Hamid s’assurait lors de nos balades à pied dans la Medina et Kasbah que nous étions en sécurité et Abdul est un conducteur hors pair sur ce territoire. Le véhicule utilisé était en parfait ordre et très propre. Les informations transmises sur l’histoire et la culture Marocaine était toujours intéressantes et à propos. Nous recommandons grandement cette visite et nous espérons répéter l’expérience à nouveau pour visiter une autre région du Maroc.
