Meet your host and small group at a central location and head straight to the nearby Dongmen Market.

Learn about fresh ingredients used in Taiwanese cuisine at this traditional Taipei market, before returning to the kitchen for a hands-on session. Practice traditional methods of food preparation and create three culinary dishes from scratch under the careful guidance of your private instructor.

Sample an array of flavors in Taiwanese cuisine while you cook from a set menu including soup, appetizer, and main dish (see options in Itinerary). Discover the key ingredient in making braised beef noodle soup; learn to create distinctive flavors in hot and sour soup; or prepare three cups chicken, a Taiwanese signature dish.

Finally, sit down to savor a mouthwatering lunch before concluding your tour at the original departure point.
