We booked the Welcome to Strasbourg walking tour via Viator on our first morning, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. Kevin was absolutely wonderful — knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly passionate about his city.
The walk was an easy, flat pace with a small group, so everyone could hear and feel included. Over a couple of relaxed hours, Kevin pointed out fascinating details, history, and places we’d never have noticed on our own. It completely enhanced the rest of our trip, as we were able to return later and explore many of his recommendations in more depth.
If you’re visiting Strasbourg, I can’t recommend this tour enough — especially at the start of your stay. We loved it and would happily do it again!

Absolutely the best tour I’ve been on. Kevin was so knowledgeable about not just Strasbourg’s history but about where to shop, eat, catch public transportation, etc. My daughter and I were there a few days before she was to begin a college semester in Strasbourg and Kevin included so much useful information about student life and how to go about daily life in the city. Upon hearing my daughter would be in Strasbourg for four months he said “you couldn’t have picked a better place.” We couldn’t have picked a better tour.

Kevin was an amazing guide who showed us all around Strasbourg. He was a very kind, patient, and knowledgeable person. You can tell he really loves giving tours and cares about his city. He gave us a great list of restaurants to try and sites to check out after the tour. We really enjoyed our tour and 100% recommend him to anyone visiting the city.

We had a fantastic experience on our walking tour of Strasbourg with Kevin. He’s an English speaker originally from Chicago, which made everything easy to follow, and his passion for the city really came through. He shared a great mix of history, fun facts, and personal insight into why he chose to move to Strasbourg, which made the tour feel especially authentic. Even though it was raining that day, Kevin kept the tour fun and upbeat and still managed to get us to some beautiful spots for photos. Our group was very small, just three of us, (my husband, me, and a lovely woman from Norway), and he took full advantage of that by adding extra stops and tailoring the experience to our interests…He also gave incredible recommendations along the way like restaurants, bakeries, shopping, and even a thoughtfully organized list by food type, including tips on when to make reservations. I strongly recommend doing this tour early in your trip so you can fully take advantage of his suggestions and get a great feel for the city. Kevin was awesome, and I truly can’t recommend him enough

Well planned, paced and executed tour of Strasbourg which included parts of Old Town, New Town and Little France districts. While walking the history of the entire region is discussed and everything is covered in less than 3 hours. Perfect shore excursion for a Rhine river cruise or a city tour.

Kevin gave us a great tour around the most interesting spots in that beautiful city, enriching the information with personal anecdotes ,lots of historic context and tips for things to check out (museums and restaurants) His enthusiasm for this city was more than tangible and his fire sparked our fascination for that place as well.
