Worth EVERY penny!! Besides the fact I think I'm a mermaid, the underwater experience was beautiful! Pay attention to the instructions in the beginning and you'll be fine. I heald a sea urchin and a sea star. Our guides Santi, Conner and Kaitlyn were wonderful. 10/10 would recommend. Bring your own water shoes.

Fun experience you definitely have to know what you’re doing under the water. The only thing I didn’t like was I paid for my pictures the same day but didn’t get until the next day.

From the moment we started to end everyone was so nice and very helpful. The instructors made me feel so comfortable and helped ease my nerves. I highly recommend this excursion

This was pretty cool. It was a bit murky because of the high tide and rip tide warnings but still pretty neat to check it all out.

Great staff easy instructions and great experience . Each person made the experience 100% easier definitely would recommend!!

Our trip was almost ruined if it wasn't for the wonderful divers in charge of our excursion. Our taxi from the port, delayed us and we were 9 mins late for our 9am appointment. The lady at the entrance told us that we were too late to do our excursion. I was devastated after booking this almost a year ago and being out almost $500. After, we were granted at least entrance into the park, my wonderful husband asked the divers at Seatrek if there was any way of getting us in. By the grace of God there were openings for us. This was hands down the most memorable experience we have ever had. It was everything we expected and more. Staff was helpful and made you feel very comfortable. I will forever be grateful to the staff and divers of Seatrek for saving our vacation. I will recommend this excursion to anyone head to St. Thomas. Thank you again!

We had booked the Sea Trek Helmet Dive at Coral World Ocean Park for 10 AM, but when we arrived, the reservation was listed as 9 AM and we were initially marked as a no-show. Thankfully, the staff were very helpful and quickly worked with us to fix the issue, allowing us to still participate in the experience.
The dive itself was amazing—definitely a unique and memorable activity, especially if you’re not comfortable swimming or diving.
The only downside is the distance from the cruise port. It’s about a 20-minute drive, so plan accordingly. Taxis charge per person—we paid around $15 per person each way, and they require cash, so be sure to bring some with you.
Overall, despite the initial hiccup, it was a fantastic experience and well worth it!

Never go through Viator again! Family of 5 booked this activity well in advance and was told by the coral ocean world staff they didn’t have our booking upon arrival Total disappointment bc apparently was told that this happened before a few times so why this continues is beyond me!!! Charged $600 and a taxi fair of $150 both ways and literally in our return back to the hotel they charged our cc!!! Warning everyone do not go through viator at all for your bookings.

My experience was great, I enjoyed the professionalism, the briefing before the walk/dive and the attentiveness of the divers in the water with you.
Jerry_M, Mar 2026
This Sea Trek walk is easy and fun. You'll see plenty of underwater sea life. You put the helmet on, breathe normally and follow your tour guide.

Our experience with Coral Reef in St. Thomas was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
On 3/11 we arrived about 15 minutes early for our excursion that we had booked through Viator. When we checked in, the staff told us that the booking on the Viator app was “not valid” and that we would need to rebook directly with them if we still wanted to participate. Because we were already there and had planned our day around this activity, we went ahead and rebooked and paid again upfront.
We returned the next day for the new reservation we had paid for, but when we arrived the staff said we were past their 5-minute grace period. We arrived at 3:06 for a 3:00 reservation and were told we could not participate unless we paid yet again. They also told us the payment we had already made was non-refundable.
It was incredibly frustrating to lose money over a matter of minutes after we had already rebooked and paid upfront because they wouldn’t honor the Viator reservation the day before. There was no flexibility, no effort to help resolve the situation, and no customer service.
I would strongly caution anyone booking with this company. Be aware that if anything at all goes wrong with timing or the booking platform, you may end up losing your money with no accommodation or support from staff.

So I booked this excursion for a group of 5( which included myself) in the booking it asked for each individual weight( in lbs) I put that I weight 457lb and my friend weighed 263lbs. When we got to the excursion site we signed in with a lady received our wrist bands from a gentleman. Then they proceeded to take us down for the instructional lesson and then to the excursion site. We was then told by the diver rite before we went down that the weight limit was 250lbs and the helmet wouldn’t keep us in the water. Non of the 3/4 people that we had interactions with said nothing. Vitor website never mentioned it( a weight limit). I had visited CoralWorld website before booking also never mentioned a weight limit… all it said was you must be 89lbs. Never mentioned 250lbs limit! So neither I or my friend didn’t get to participate in the excursion on 3/8
I asked for a refund the same day and as of today 3/12/26 still hasn’t received it.

Katie, Johnathan, J Mike were all great and patient and made sure we were safe. It was a great experience overall
Emily_W, Feb 2026
Fun experience and had a wonderful crew (S/o to Andres, Katie, Conner, Natalie and Johnathan)!
However, the whole experience took about 20 mins, while exciting wish it was longer. At first glance it seems to be a 45 min experience and that’s not the case. On top of that pictures are not included. For a single person it was $35, a couple $50 and for a group of four $65. Our pictures weren’t the best, IMO. Yes, admission to Coral World is included with the experience, but you can easily see everything in 30 mins. We dragged it out and went to some of the talks and I still think it took 45 mins to see everything. Overall, pricey but fun experience.

It was an amazing experience and be able to be under the water and breathing normally was amazing… I was a bit disappointed about the price to get the email for the picture… I would understand if the price was included a paper picture but it was only an email to download it…. The instructor was very nice and made us feel very comfortable about going under water. I highly recommend it!!!

Wife was terrified I just knew she ready climb back up the ladder, but the diver helped her every step of the way coaching her on what to do. A very nice experience. I highly recommend

Personnel are amazing! Everything explained in detail. Plenty of time to get in the water and get used to the helmet. Two divers with us at all times. Walking the sea floor and looking at all the fish is an indescribable experience.

Sea Trek Helmet Dive at Coral World Ocean Park is an absolutely amazing experience!
Walking on the ocean floor felt like entering a beautiful underwater city filled with an incredible variety of sea creatures. Seeing so many colorful fish up close was unforgettable. I only wish the experience lasted longer—45 minutes would be perfect!
The staff were super friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, which made the experience feel safe and fun. Bonus tip: once you book Sea Trek, you can attend additional educational talks about sea lions, dolphins, and coral plants, GREEN TURTLES at no extra cost—such a great value.
The park itself feels like an ocean-themed nature park, with multiple species and exhibits spread throughout different areas. We visited at the end of January, and it was rainy, so definitely check the weather—but even with rain, it was worth it. At the end of the show, they video and take your pictures under the sea with all creatures and those pictures is $55 for all of you want your videos and pictures. I didn’t purchase- kinda expensive for the pictures in my opinion.
Another huge plus: the park is right next to Coki Beach, which is stunning. You can snorkel right by the shore and still see vibrant fish and reefs.
The on-site restaurant was excellent—highly recommend the fresh conch, local bean rice, and pork chop with corn. Authentic and delicious. Bring one dollar bill to tip and parking by the beach is free. Bring towel for swimming. If you want to sit on the beach chair then extra $7 per chair. Bring water bottles! Water here is $3 per bottle if purchase
Overall: 10/10. Highly recommended if you’re visiting St. Thomas! 🐠🌴💙

What a unique experience! It was really cool to be walking on the bottom of the ocean without getting my hair wet!! You only get about 20 minutes in the water but it was so worth it.
Things you should be aware of:
1. There was no transfer from the cruise pier so we had to pay an extra $50 to get there and back.
2. Coral World itself is a bit hokey and i would never pay just an admission fee to go in there, but general admission was free so we killed some time while waiting for our turn.
3. They won't let you use your go pro and then charge $50 for the few pics and videos they take. Total rip off

It was amazing and the guides were great! I was a little anxious about being a little claustrophobic but the guides made me fell very comfortable.
fueyan8709, Dec 2025
Worst experience!
They do not inform us in advance but just told us the tour was cancelled when we showed up in the park to check in.
It is very disappointed and we wasted the time and more than 120 dollar taxi for for the round trip to the park but for nothing!
Payal_S, Dec 2025
Great experience for non swimmer for snorkeling and scuba diving. Did the experience with husband, 10 year old, and 68 year old mom.
Tyrone_W, Dec 2025
You can’t imagine or prepare for excitement you will get on this adventure. The staff is well qualified and make you feel confident that you will be safe and well taking care of .
I just like to thank Katie Jeff and Jonathan for wonderful and rememberable time
Tyreesha_A, Dec 2025
Was there scariest most coolest thing I’ve ever done!!!! My husband and I went. I was nervous because I can’t swim but the oxygen helmets definitely helped with my anxiety! It was a beautiful experience! I’d definitely do it again!
Meredith_B, Dec 2025
Fantastic time! Great experience without fear, especially if you've never snorkeled or scubaed before.
Taquana_B, Dec 2025
We enjoyed ourselves all of the staff were amazing from checking in to our guided divers. I'd recommend again and again.
Katherine_K, Dec 2025
It was a great, safe experience. I do wish it lasted a bit longer. I also wish we saw a few other sea creatures, not just fish and an urchin. In fairness, my adult kids in their 20s thought this was the vest part of our trip. The park is great!
Alyssah_H, Nov 2025
Was a cool experience. Definitely quicker than I thought. All the help was great sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names. Only down side was no pictures allowed to be taken underwater. The diver take pictures underwater for you which you then have to pay $50 for. The women in the store selling the pictures were really rude as well. So besides the picture part it’s a cool thing to try one time for the one time.
Tudor_C, Nov 2025
I'm a bit thorn about this review. The diving experience itself is pretty good, not sure if worth its price charged to pay 3 divers plus one employee who puts the helmet/air on. You're ONLY diving for 15 minutes, walk around a bit of marine life below, nothing wow, some wreck type thing, but it's quick. They have a bit of a marine life and animal sanctuary around the diving spot which is probably subsidized by the dive price. So, if you feel good about "donating" to the sanctuary through your dive, all is well. Also, $15/person from the cruise port to the dive spot, and $15 back, which ads to the price. There is also a beach nearby, nice enough although small, great for snorkeling and decent marine life. Imagine all this for a family of 3 and it ads up.
Ulises_G, Nov 2025
Amazing and unique experience for us. Highly recommend. The staff and divers were very friendly. They helped me plan the proposal beforehand and it was a success. She said Yes
Dayana_P, Nov 2025
It was an amazing experience. I went with my husband for our anniversary. Katie, J Mike, Conner and Jonathan were very professional !! I only with the dive was longer.
