Arrive at the Marriott Frenchman's Cove dock to board your catamaran dinner cruise.
Step aboard the 54-foot (16-meter) VI Cat, a US Coast Guard–certified sailing vessel. As your friendly captain and crew raise the sails, find a comfortable spot to sit on the spacious deck. Watch the boats glide by and step up to the open bar for a drink.
The catamaran will set sail toward Little Buck Island and then turn to the harbor, where the crew will serve a catered scratch-made barbecue spread (see Itinerary section for a sample menu) and enjoy the ambiance of the harbor at night.
Return to the dock at Frenchman's Cove at the conclusion of your 2-hour cruise.

- Vegetarian/Vegan option is available upon specific request to tour operator - call / text 48 hours in advance
- The VI Cat's Standard Cancellation Policy: To receive a full refund, customers may cancel up to 72 hours before the excursion start date in the local timezone. No refunds will be given after that time period. "No-Shows" will be charged the full price of the excursion. In the event The VI Cat cancels the excursion due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, customers may receive a full refund or rebooking.
- Note that the Marriott's Frenchman's Cove is the time-share portion of the Marriott. This location is different than The Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman's Reef.

- The Marriott's Frenchman's Cove is 7-10 minute taxi ride from the WICO cruise ship dock and 20-30 minute taxi ride from the Crown Bay cruise ship dock
- At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
- Children MUST be accompanied by an adult • Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- If guest or vessel's Master determines safety issue, a full refund will be given.
- Use Google Maps. Type "The VI Cat" or "Marriott's Frenchman's Cove". 1. Pull into the Marriott Frenchman's Cove (the property with all of the colorful buildings). The Marriott Cove has a large stone/brick entrance. 2. Check in with the security guard at the security booth. He will ask that you park in the large, flat gravel parking lot on the right **after** the security booth. 3. After parking, walk down the hill, in the road, towards the pool and follow signs that say public beach access. 4. Look for the wooden dock located off of the beach. 5. You will check in with The VI Cat crew on the wooden dock approximately 30 minutes prior to departure.

- MUST arrive 30 minutes prior to trip departure time. We are unable to accommodate late arrivals.
- Any guests with medical concerns (including pregnant travelers) are encouraged to address them with their own medical professional prior to attending excursion.
- Facial coverings are optional while onboard.

This sunset dinner sail was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The views leaving Frenchman’s Cove were breathtaking — watching the sun melt into the horizon while cruising the harbor was something I won’t forget. The crew, Dan, Sam and Issac were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the entire experience feel relaxed and special.
The food and drinks were great, the atmosphere was peaceful yet fun, and the harbor lights coming on as night fell created the perfect ending to the evening. If you’re visiting St. Thomas and want a memorable, laid-back experience with incredible scenery, this sail is a must.
Highly recommend — worth every moment.

We went for our first night in St. Thomas me and a friend . The views and drinks were amazing, the food was just okay.

The cruise was so much fun. The staff was very professional and entertaining, you could tell that they love their job.
I was expecting the food to be average but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was very good with a variety of items to choose from.
And of course the star of the show, the Sunset, did not disappoint. We were able to get spectacular photos with expert guidance from the staff.
This turned out to be the highlight of our vacation on St. Thomas.

Definitely needed some sea sick meds because the first half was wavy i couldn't eat my food. Wish we had time to go to a day where they had bbq. Staff were really nice

Truly, an adult experience, however, my 14-year-old son and I had a blast. There’s nothing like sitting in the middle of the Caribbean on rafts eating tacos, and drinking drinks. The servers were awesome, friendly and fun.

Our host on the ship were wonderful. They gave us a great explanation about the cruise before we stepped on the boat, and they were accommodating and wonderful hosts for the entire trip. A rain storm rolled in and they kept us cozy with regular drinks before getting our feedback about whether to continue on or head in a little early. We had an older adult traveling with us who had some challenges getting on and off the boat and they were great helping her get on and feel safe. I’d highly recommend this dinner cruise.

My wife and I were celebrating my birthday, and Captain Mike and his crew (Dan and Dakota) treated us to a truly memorable night. It was Taco night and they were indeed Most Excellent. We cruised by and between many of the islands surrounding St. Thomas and cruised past the main island town of Charlotte Amalie with all its lights rising into the surrounding hills. Word got around that it was my birthday and the crew and fellow passengers enthusiastic (but not necessarily melodiously :-) ) sang me Happy Birthday.

It was a great experience! This was the first time my girl and I did a sunset times boat ride, so it was a good time. The crew was very friendly, helpful and upbeat. We left near the Red Hook area, explored the downtown Charlotte Amalie area on the water and it was all a lovely sight! The food was good, especially the BBQ meat options! I would recommend to folks looking for a nice casual boat ride with dinner in the USVI!

We were supposed to watch the sunset! But they stopped just after a few minutes they left in front of an island blocking the view! The view from our place was better than the view we saw on the boat! Very disappointing. It was overpriced too. It wasn’t worth at all!

My experience with the VI sunset dinner cruise was great. The crew was awesome they were fun, accommodating, and helpful. The BBQ food was great and plenty to go around. The sunset was perfect. There’s plenty of time to take it all in. The other passengers were all friendly and nice conversations ensue during dinner. I would recommend this activity as part of any trip to Saint Thomas

Our last night on St Thomas we took this trip out and happened to be the same boat we took out snorkeling. The captain was different than we had before but she was amazing I wish I could remember her name. All the crew was great Dan, Sam, and Anderson all so professional and made sure the food was great and the drinks kept pouring. Got to meet some great people and hear so many stories. Lots of fun, lots of laughs.

We have now taken two excursions with the VI Cat. Both times the crew has been amazing. The sunset cruise was a very fun and relaxing evening. The crew worked hard to ensure we had plenty of drinks, food and the best views for the sunset. We highly recommend this excursion along with the three hour snorkeling with turtles.
