Secret Cove is a very beautiful cove to kick back and relax. We had our own snorkel gear and enjoyed seeing all the sea life by the rocks. We also saw a stingray right when we got there! The water was the perfect temperature to stay in for quite awhile. We were there during the week and it wasn’t too crowded. Since our scheduled pick up time was 8:30am from the cruise port, we were able to get a beach spot with no issues. Some things I wish I knew, you’re basically purchasing round trip transportation to Secret Cove. The driver had no idea where we needed to go which was ok since it was pretty easy to figure it out but it would have been nice if Viator had shared more detailed information. There’s a hotel there but you are not allowed to sit at their beach front. If you want a chair and umbrella, you get that at the Dive Shop which opened at 9am. The cost per couple was $46 for two lounge chairs and one umbrella which they will set up for you. There’s a restaurant which I did not eat at, but one of the couples that was with us raved about their fries. The advantage of going through Viator for transportation to Secret Cove is that they come back to pick you up on time. Otherwise, I thought for what we got, it was expensive. I’m fairly confident you could take a taxi there at a less cost per person but, knowing that a taxi is coming back does take away some stress as to how you can get back to the port. Don’t forget to bring towels from the ship!
