We had the best experience with Curtis and Alonzo as we toured the coastline of Frenchman’s Cove. We saw many fish, sting ray, tarpon, red snapper, and one of the largest green sea turtles so far. We had a blast with the glow paint and have memories that will last a lifetime.

The experience was amazing—I truly recommend it to anyone! We saw tons of fish and stingrays. Also, Curtis and Denny were AWESOME!!! They shared so many great facts about the island and had the BEST dad jokes ;)

The tour itself was fine… right up until it wasn’t. Parking is in a lot that’s technically part of the Westin, though you’d never guess it—it’s isolated, at the top of a steep hill, and feels pretty sketchy. You have to drive down to the lobby, pay $10 cash for parking, get a pass, and then drive all the way back up to park. Not exactly convenient. We tried to catch the shuttle down to the docks, but it never showed up. Since we were told we couldn’t bring even a small waterproof bag, we left ours in the trunk of our rental car—mistake number one. After the excursion, Derek and Alonzo told us they’d AirDrop the photos and videos. I didn’t have my iPhone, so they sent them to my boyfriend’s Android instead… except everything came through blurry. They promised to resend everything properly, but that didn’t happen—at least not until I finally received one video two days later, while writing this review. Now here’s where it gets even better. When we got back to our resort, we realized $80 cash had been taken from the bag we left in the trunk. And just when we thought that was the worst of it… about two hours after the excursion, both of my legs and my entire backside started itching like crazy. I broke out in large red welts and ended up going to the doctor two days later, where I was prescribed three different medications for what appears to be some kind of skin fungus—likely from the shallow bay where you kayak. My boyfriend got it too, so at least I wasn’t suffering alone. So to sum it all up: if you’re looking to pay for an excursion where the shuttle is optional (apparently), your belongings mysteriously lose money, your photos never arrive, and you leave with a bonus skin infection and a doctor’s bill—this is absolutely the place for you!! (I hate I can’t attach photos for proof of everything I’m stating)

Alfonzo and Curtis were excellent guides and great fun for the family. Go for the adventure to sea turtles, rays, ballyhoo, gigantic tarpin and stay for the amazing set of dad jokes. The clear bottom kayaks are top notch with their own LEDs that light up your area. Great time!

Doug & Curtis were super fun guides! They gave us a great experience. We saw sting rays, tarpon, and a huge turtle even swam right past some other people on the tour and came up for air to the surface. Very cool!

We drove all the way down there and was told we had to pay 10.00 to valet park. Which was fine but we had to park ourself. Get back to the lobby for the shuttle to pick us up. We are then told its been canceled for tonight. I had just made the reservations at 6:30 and our trip was at 8:30. We ask how we can get a refund because of course noone was answering the phone. They just said try back in the morning. Ive yet to get a answer. So it wasn't a very good experience for us.

Fun evening activity in St. Thomas

The night kayak was a very unique, interesting and fun activity I would highly recommend. We were originally booked for a Sunday night but it was rainy. We went to the marina to find out if they were still having the activity and Derek and Nate helped us out by arranging a reschedule to 2 nights later. It rained that night too, but luckily the rain stopped 10 minutes before our group’s time. Nathaniel and Alonzo were our guides and they were great. They were very knowledgeable, helped us all feel at ease in the kayaks and Alonzo also told a lot of jokes along the way. It’s a short activity that you can easily fit into your evening.

What an incredible experience! We laughed and padded the evening away! We saw several sting rays, huge fish, and banju fish. Nate and his counterpart were educational and very silly with jokes all night! Definitely recommending this to everyone!
