Extremely friendly and helpful. Communicated very well throughout our trip including while we were in the Taxi on our way there. This experience was so much better than our usual “go to” of booking through the cruise line.. We did not feel like just a number. It was personable and our kids favorite experience of our entire trip. We were able to explore the water without feeling super crowded with a ton of people all around us and did not feel rushed at all.
The snacks and drinks were very tasty as well! :)
The boat was very modern and extremely clean. We would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone..

Joe shared awesome history and wildlife facts about St. Thomas, and Fernando was an incredible in‑water guide—swimming with us, pointing out fish, coral, and even turtles we would’ve missed.Fun, informative, and effortless from start to finish. Outstanding boat and crew. Only 10 people on our ride, a smaller boat but still extremely nice. Snacks and drinks provided, and even a guided snorkel dive. Great way to spend a morning.

Joe, Fernando, and Katie run a tight ship- very clean and they know what they are doing in terms of putting you above turtles and beautiful fish. We met several fun people on our boat and had a great time. Drinks were plentiful and hand crafted. Snack are crudities and cut fruit which were refreshing.

If you want to just have fun, no stress and see turtles and swim in the ocean- this is the way to go. This was best experience. Catie and Serena were great. I don’t see how anyone could not 100% enjoy this day.

Capt Joe and his crew Katie and Fernando were the best crew I have ever had! Trip was awesome, delivered on every promise. They were helpful, attentive, professional and met every expectation! We saw beautiful sea life including a vast array of sea turtles, a barracuda, a beautiful octopus, endless fish and coral reefs. Their history and geography discussions were incredibly informative. Lastly, it was a really fun trip! Recommend them on the “Someday” with Viator as the best in the Caribbean.

The tour itself was beautiful, however the experience was not. It felt like the staff was micromanaging every move I made. There were so many rules for this excursion it made it hard to enjoy myself. It got to the point where I felt uncomfortable asking for a drink because I was afraid of being lectured. The captain specifically was very condescending. I have been on tons of excursions and I’ve never had an experience like this — I understand safety is a priority however they took things to another level. This excursion might be good for kids who require structure however as an adult I wouldn’t necessarily recommend — I’m sure there are other excursions on the island where you are truly able to relax and have a fun time.

The “Half Day Luxury Catamaran Turtle Snorkel And Beach” which you booked through a third party (Viator) who secured the booking on your behalf was a shared tour with other guests on board, not a private tour, which operated as described with a set itinerary, on time, and to the listed locations as the other guest reviews noted for this tour. Noted here by another 5 star review, just above yours chronologically ,from a well traveled family that was on your same trip.

We are sorry to hear that you feel dissatisfied with our focus on safety for all guests regardless of age, and that you feel disappointed and had a different experience as all the other guests onboard. Katie and Joe made this experience phenomenal. We saw MANY sea turtles and a beautiful coral reef. The water was beautiful. This is the boat you want to book if you don’t want to be on one of the other ships which look equivalent to a can of sardines. So many people were packed on them. Someday boat is smaller and beautiful equipped with plenty of places to sit, a bathroom, and a bar. We also had lovely shaded options for those of us who didn’t want to be in the full sun the entire time. The hosts provided fresh fruit, veggies and dip, water, and of course the open bar. This was the most lovely experience. We booked an afternoon trip and there were only 6 guests on the boat so it felt like a private tour. Absolutely 10000/10 experience. Thank you Katie and Joe!

When a company puts the word "luxury" in the description of their excursion, we expect a little more; it is our opinion, and that of the friends that joined us, that we did not receive a "luxury" experience on this excursion. First, although this boat had two hulls like a catamaran, it was not a catamaran in the true sense of the word. It was not wide-bodied and there was no netting on the front to lie on; in fact, it was more like a square-nosed speed boat with seating for only 4 on the bow, and we were only permitted to sit up there once, when traveling between the snorkeling site and the turtle site. Perhaps "luxury" was limited to their description of the boat, not the entire experience.
The greeting we received when boarding the boat was very stiff and institutional, not "island like" at all. We immediately received a very stern safety briefing which contained a warning that neither the Captain, Joe, nor his First Mate, Catie, had any medical training so should any of us have a medical emergency onboard, neither of them could help us and that the help we needed would be at least one hour away! What a lovely way to start what was supposed to be a chill, fun filled day on the water. Now, I am a retired attorney and I fully understand the liability that the people running these excursions face, but there are better, gentler ways to get your point across. With that said, I will move on to the food and drink. The food on this "luxury catamaran" consisted of fresh pineapple and honeydew chunks when we boarded - a pleasant start, but not a luxurious one. After we snorkeled at the first spot, we were treated to celery and carrot sticks - again, not what I would consider luxury food. We were offered both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages after snorkeling at the first site. The most enjoyable part of this experience was interacting with Catie; she was very pleasant and upbeat and acted as our guide when we snorkeled at the first site. She entered the water with us and gave us a detailed description of all of the sea life beneath us. Catie was also our bartender. I am sad that I cannot recommend this excursion; we paid more for this 4 hour boat ride than we did for a 7 hour catamaran experience the next day in Sint Maarten, during which we were served fresh fruit, sandwiches made on fresh sourdough French bread, and after stopping at two beaches along the way, chicken and beef tenderloin with a freshly made salad - and "luxury" was not even in the description of that excursion. I understand that in 4 hours, you do not want to bog people down with large servings of heavy food, but you can do better than fruit chunks, celery and carrots.

The boat and crew were wonderful. It was nice to only have 12 people on a nice sized boat. Katie was very knowledgeable of the creatures of the sea (and more!); and the snorkeling was some of the clearest I've ever seen. Captain Joe was also an experienced captain with much knowledge of the birds and turtles. We saw so many adorable turtles! Super communication the morning of... our ship was delayed letting people off. Thanks for waiting for us and thanks for a great day!

My friend and I booked this snorkeling trip and it was a fantastic experience. Captain Serena, Catie and Ron were amazing. I’ve been on other snorkeling excursions, and this was the most organized snorkeling experience. Serena and Catie made sure everyone in our group had a great time and got a chance to see sea turtles along with many other colorful fish. This was also the perfect size excursion with a small group and felt very safe. I highly recommend, this well worth it. Thank you Serena, Catie and Ron for a truly memorable experience.

We had the most amazing time on the SOMEDAY! Captain Joe and Fernando were excellent hosts! Super clean luxury boat, top notch service and equipment, and only a small number of people on board. Easy access right at the cruise pier. We saw lots of turtles and fish while snorkeling. Captain Joe and Fernando offered history of the area and wildlife. Snacks and cocktails were a plus!

We had the best weather, the best location and the best turtle sightings! The boat is gorgeous! Add this to your St. Thomas trip. Bring nothing, but sunscreen and a towel. they give you drinks and snacks.

Caitlyn and Captain Serena (sp?) were fantastic. A well oiled machine and full of knowledge about the area. Plus they make an awesome painkiller. We had a great time and they made sure we saw the turtles. Tons of fish including a barracuda. Also saw a couple of Stingray. They have good snorkeling gear not worn out crap.
I got some bad info from my cruise ship (they gave us the wrong days pamphlet in our room and I saw the dock time and flipped out that it was too late for our excursion. Then the cruise line told us to wait at the wrong spot. The charter crew concisely cleared the confusion and a call with Caitlyn corrected our course.
Worth it! Tip your crew if you go!

Sarina and Carie were great! Both were knowledgeable of the area and shared information freely. Our party of 8 had a great time on the boat and enjoyed snorkeling. Only small thing I would change is the snack offering. It was fruit and veggies. I desired something salty while on the boat and wished mini bags of snacks were available. There were plenty of drinks to be had! Thanks for making our boating day fun.

Our excursion was excellent! I think there were only 10-12 people on on our boat, (so a far better option than other tours with 50+ guests). Our driver brought us by boat directly to the cruise ship pier when our tour was finished. (Royal Caribbean Icon). Note: The initial meeting spot is not at the same cruise port as the Icon, but you can taxi to the meeting point. Great for kids age 12 and up. Don’t recommend bringing little kids because they can’t snorkel alone so it’s not worth the price but our teenage son absolutely loved it! Tons of sea turtles, one small reef shark minding his own business 👏, tons of fish, tons of sea anemones.
