This was the perfect excursion!!! Boat was fabulous, as were the Captain & Caity!!! We had a group of 8 & we all loved this trip…snorkeling w/the turtles was amazing. Our captain even got in the water with us & gave us a guided snorkel tour, pointing out different animals to look for & giving on-the-spot info on what we were seeing! (Parrotfish are my new favorite creatures…they’re so pretty!!!). Great drinks & snacks were the best—beautifully designed fruit & veggie trays! Would definitely recommend this trip!!!
Joe and Catie are awesome. The boat is amazing and with a smaller group felt like a private tour. Water and sealife are incredible. Saw many turtles and colorful fish.
Perfect for the family! We had such a nice time with Catie and Joe, saw so many turtles, fishes, and stingrays. Was much more intimate than the other large boats.
The boat was beautiful! Captain Joe and Catie did a wonderful job taking care of us and showing us the different fish and finding the turtles for us. Everything was top notch. We will definitely book again.
This was AMAZING! The boat is beautiful, Catie and Captain Joe were amazing, and we saw SO many sea turtles and a beautiful reef with unique fish. We felt safe and taken care of the entire time. If you are stopping here for a port day while on a cruise, it is the best charter you could take. The group is smaller which was so nice, the other boat excursions we were seeing had 30+ people on them! Captain Joe and Catie also knew the island so well and it was fun to hear all the history and fun facts. When we are back we know what we will be doing!
Catie and Joe were fantastic. This tour was amazing. We saw several turtles and the experience felt very personalized since we only had 8 in our group. Cannot recommend this company enough.
This excursion was the absolute highlight of our trip. Captain Joe and Katie were exceptional. They gave great advice, guided us to seeing wildlife (an octopus even!) that we would have missed on our own, and made the whole time pleasant and safe. The boat was spotless, and the experience was incredible. I wholeheartedly recommend this snorkeling excursion and wish we would have booked a full day.

From the minute our adventure started, Joe and Catie were absolutely AMAZING—fun, incredibly informative, professional, safety-conscious, eco-conscious, and determined to make sure every single person had a fantastic day.
One of the things we appreciated most was how seriously they take protecting the beautiful waters and marine life of St. Thomas. 🌊🐢🐠 They didn’t just take us out to snorkel—they educated us along the way. They explained how to enjoy the marine life responsibly, what we should and shouldn’t do in the water, and how seemingly small actions can impact the reef and the entire ecosystem.
They clearly have a genuine respect for the ocean and its inhabitants, and they made sure everyone understood that we were visitors in the marine life’s home. We loved that! ❤️🌎
They managed to make learning about conservation interesting and fun rather than feeling like we were attending Marine Biology 101 on vacation. 😂 By the time we got in the water, everyone understood how to have an amazing experience without disturbing or damaging the environment we were there to enjoy.

Because then there was our group. 😂
One member of our crew somehow decided it would be a fantastic idea to book a SNORKELING TOUR despite having an EXTREME fear of water…and an even greater fear of the critters residing in said water. 🐠🦈😳
Was this a questionable vacation decision?
Absolutely.
Did she snorkel?
NOPE.
Did she even get off the boat?
ALSO NOPE. 😂😂😂
Not one toe entered the water. Not a single fish was confronted. No sea turtle introductions were made. She remained safely aboard the vessel where the marine ecosystem was guaranteed to remain completely undisturbed by her presence. 🤣
Honestly, Joe and Catie couldn’t have asked for a more eco-friendly passenger. 😂🌎
And this is where Joe and Catie really showed what incredible professionals they are.
They handled our anxiety-ridden, critter-fearing non-snorkeler with absolute kid gloves. They accommodated her disability with patience, kindness, understanding, and ZERO pressure. They never made her feel embarrassed or like she was inconveniencing anyone.
Instead, they simply gave her exactly the experience she was comfortable having:
Great conversation.
Drinks.
Snacks.
A beautiful boat ride around St. Thomas.
Which has left the rest of us wondering…
Maybe that’s why she booked the snorkeling excursion in the first place. 🤷♀️😂🍹
Apparently WE misunderstood the assignment.
While the rest of us voluntarily launched ourselves into an ocean filled with unidentified marine creatures, she stayed aboard having drinks, eating snacks, enjoying the scenery, and chatting with Joe and Catie.
WHO WAS REALLY THE SMART ONE HERE?! 😂🍹🏆
Meanwhile, the rest of us had the TIME OF OUR LIVES! 🌊☀️🐢
Joe and Catie were attentive and fantastic about keeping everyone safe while still making the entire experience relaxed and FUN. They somehow managed to keep the adventurous people adventuring, teach everyone how to respect and protect the ecosystem, keep the nervous people comfortable, AND keep the terrified person happily fed and hydrated aboard the boat.
That takes talent. 🏆
We are professional travelers who regularly travel while supporting people with disabilities, so we have experienced A LOT of excursions, guides, tours, and personalities over the years. We can confidently say that this was one of the BEST excursions we have ever booked.
Their commitment to safety was impressive. Their knowledge was incredible. Their respect for the environment and marine life was refreshing. And the kindness and professionalism they showed when accommodating someone with a disability made an already wonderful experience truly exceptional.
Joe and Catie didn’t just take us snorkeling—they taught us something, made us laugh, kept us safe, respected everyone’s individual abilities and comfort levels, and gave us one of those vacation days we’ll be talking about for YEARS.
St. Thomas was beautiful, the snorkeling was incredible, and the memories are absolutely priceless. ❤️🌴🐠🐢

Excellent trip. Knowledgable captain and captains assistant. Catie and Joe were perfect hosts. The boat and equipment was in great condition. Nice drinks and fruit / vegetables. Small group of 11 of us. We got to see many turtles. 🐢. There was never a concern we wouldn’t make it back to the port in time for our ships departure. Don’t hesitate.

Catie and Joe were fantastic. They both got in the water to find us the best snorkeling areas and point out a lot of turtles, fish, octopus and a jellyfish. We loved having a small group experience for our first-timers. They provided drinks and a snack of pineapple, melon, veggies and dip. Catie and Joe are very conscious of safety and we never felt worried. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour.

No matter your age, skill, or experience, Captain Joe and Catie will get you into the water. They know where to look for the turtles and will teach you about turtles, birds, the Islands, snorkeling, and coral reefs. They offer great hospitality on a beautiful, clean, well maintained boat. Catie mixes great tropical drinks, and fresh snacks are available.
The snorkeling equipment is first rate, in great shape, and they will teach you how to use it effectively. They will get into the water with you, and lead you to the best places.
Captain Joe is extremely attentive to safety both on the boat and in the water.
This was the favorite experience of our recent trip. Everyone in our family, from age 73 to 18 absolutely loved our day in the beautiful seas surrounding the USVI.
We saw turtles AND floated above a breathtaking reef teeming with marine life. It was amazing.
Highly recommend Sameday with Catie and Captain Joe!

Highly recommend! We saw turtles, rays, fish, Catie was a pro in the water as a guide, & the captain was very knowledgeable. We had yummy snacks, and they served mixed drinks & non alcoholic drinks. Service was excellent! Best snorkeling experience so far!

Captain Joe and Katie were excellent. We had a wonderful time and saw many turtles, colorful fish, and an eagle ray. The drinks were also delicious and the fresh fruit kept us cool!

We had a great time with Captain Joe and Catie! They are AMAZING!! They made sure all our snorkeling gear fit properly and we felt comfortable. We saw a lot of turtles and many varieties of sea life. We had an amazing time with Joe and Serena today! They were great with our kids (we brought 7 of them ages 5-13) clearly explaining all the rules and behavior expectations, helpful with all the gear, and everyone saw lots of fish and several turtles. Joe and Serena shared some history about the area, the Someday is comfortable, and the snacks and drinks were a hit. If you're in town one of the cruise ships, skip the cruise sponsored excursions and book a private snorkel with this team! Thanks so much!

Both women were very informative, personable & professional. They knew history facts & marine biology. We saw turtles, barracudas, stingrays, squid, & many different types of fish. 1000% would book again. We loved Catie & Angelina? (I can't remember the captains name)

Someday is a beautiful boat with 12 guests max, so a more personal experience. Captain Joe and Katie did a great job describing the area and making sure we saw plenty of sea turtles, fish and sting rays. Highly recommend booking with them!

Our family of 9 had the most amazing time with Someday Charters on our half-day snorkel and beach charter! It was truly one of the highlights of our trip.

Our adventure with Captain Serena and Katie was truly amazing. They were both knowledgeable about the area, as well as the sea life, but most importantly they were kind. The boat was clean and a lot of fun. We got to see a lot turtles that we ran out of name! The coral reef and fish were incredible as well. This was our best experience this trip!

Catie and Captain Serena were amazing hosts! Ran into bad weather at the start and they were able to accommodate and immediately find a new location to snorkel that had a unique piece of wreckage underwater. Both hosts got into the water with us and pointed out turtles and stingrays. They served us an amazing painkiller cocktail and featured an open bar. Would highly recommend!
