Our guide and driver were great! Was stressful trying to find the van at the meeting point, but we eventually figured it out.

Hello thank you for choosing us and we do hope to see you again. The EDC Parking Lot is the meeting place and we do hope that the Port place signs to its location so the guest can easily find there way there, an improvement we have asked for and awaiting it be granted and put in place. A Happy & Prosperous New years to you all.

The tour company was late to pick up. This tour is ALOT of driving! I wish we would have done something that allowed time to other stuff. We did not get to do things listed in the tour description. We didn't see Calvin the Sea urchin man but instead saw the iguana location. Orient Beach is not running with all the shops closed and only one restaurant it felt disappointing. We spent 1.5 hours here, the water is gorgeous but restaurant didn't open unitl 12 so there wasn't much else to do. You make several Photo Stops, while cool, I wouldn't do that again. The shops in Marigot were nothing special, or at least the part our guide took us. They had all the same stuff in the Terminal . Maho beach we didn't have a lot of time there we did see a few planes but it really isn't a beach for swimming. While we did get to see a lot of things It would have been better I think to invest more time at a few things instead of like 10. It was a lot of time spent in the car. The fook marigot was very expensive as well, don't let them offer you the rice as that adds $10 to your bill. We ordered the BBQ chicken that was $6 but then when we got our bill it was $16. The rice was not included and that isn't mentioned on the menu.

Great excursion. No one else signed up so we had a private tour. Our guide, Erwin, was terrific. He took us to the beach, shopping and all over both sides of the island. We would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone.

We booked this group excursion and ended up being the only 2 so it was private! Driver was knowledgeable and very friendly. So much so we treated him to lunch. The airport time was a little rushed and we didnt see any large planes. There is still a lot of hurricane damage but the beaches are beautiful. We didnt feel rushed and we got to see just about everything. I highly recommend this trip.

Paul was our guide for this excursion. He was very nice and knowledgeable. There was a lot of damages from the hurricane but it did not take away the beauty of this island. We enjoyed the Maho Beach experience, sight seeings, and local foods. We went to Friar Beach instead of Orient Beach. We stayed here for about 2 hours before heading back. The beach was nice, quite, and clean.

Maynard the driver was very friendly and informative. We got to see the whole island and learnt a lot.
We had to deviate from the tour slightly due to hurracain damage but Maynard made sure we got to see the keys attractions.

My sister and I ended up being the only ones on the tour which meant we received a personalized tour of St. Maarten/Ste. Martin. It was great! We spent as long as we wanted at Orient and Maho beaches and had plenty of time to browse the shops in Marigot. Our guide was excellent and we really felt taken care of all day. Loved it!

We had a good tour with our driver, Paul! The other people canceled so it ended up being a private tour for my wife and I. The tour offered a great view of the entire island with plenty of time at Orient beach. The only thing I would change about this tour would be a little bit more time exploring Marigot, as we only had time for a very quick lunch before heading back out. Note: The tour advertises a stop to visit the sea urchin man but he has recently passed away. Instead of this, we stopped to visit the iguanas instead! Great tour!

Paul was AWESOME! The other family that was supposed to be on our tour was running late but he didn't make us wait. He had another tour guide wait for them which was great. He took us all over the Island and answered any questions we had. We have an 8 year old so he made sure to do things to entertain her. He made sure to take us to a calmer beach so she could swim and he cleaned the sand from our shoes while he waited. He really went the extra mile to please us. He provided a cooler full of drinks and informed us that it was expensive at certain places to help us save money. Paul made the most of our time and helped us enjoy the island to the fullest the whole entire day. Everyone on the island knows Paul and I'm sure it because he is so AWESOME! I hope to see him again one day :- I absolutely recommend this tour! The Martin Family

Great tour. It was nice having the shuttle to ourselves, so we can ask questions of the history of St Maarten. Orient beach was ok-too much seaweed washed ashore and the water was kinda cold and waves a little rough. I liked the boardwalk and the shops and restaurants.
sherylholton, Mar 2017
Diedrix and his wife were wonderful tour guides. They knew all the great photo stops and were really sweet. We enjoyed everything the tour provided. The only drawbacks were from the island itself and were less noticeable due to our great guide.

After years of outstanding experience with Viator, our luck ran out. The directions to the tour's meeting place at the EDC parking lot were inaccurate. Only found this hidden lot with the help of police and taxi drivers. The driver was a half hour late and a full hour late starting the tour. It was very difficult to understand through his thick accent. While we had a nice two hours at Orient Beach, Viator failed to tell us about the 30.00 fee for two chairs, excluding towels. After a very good lunch in Marigot, the driver inexplicably left that town without giving us any time to shop. A beach and shopping excursion, but without the shopping. In the driver's defense, the traffic in St. Maarten makes it impossible to do both a beach visit and shopping in the same day. After a stop at the airport beach, we sweated-out rush hour gridlock and had to run to make our ship's boarding time. This excursion was supposed to be the highlight of our cruise. It was instead a huge disappointment.

We found our tour Agents, waiting for us, very easy to find. We ending up being the only two people on our tour! Our driver and our guide, were both from the area, and drove us all over the island, stopping so we could take photos. We had fun watching the airplanes fly over the beach with all the people in the water and on the sand! We were able to have lunch and plenty of time to shop! After touring for about 4 hours, they offered to take us to Orient Beach, for another stop, but we were too tired and ready to go back to the ship! We would highly recommend this company and tour with them again!

The ex. trip was a decent circumnavigation of the island, despite the occasional rain shower. It was a good exploratory tour that could help with deciding future trips. Our driver was Paul, who was very talkative and seemed to enjoy sharing the various amenities that the island has received over the years. He made plenty of stops at various overlooks for the passengers to get out and take pictures. For many stops, he also offered to help take pictures i.e., family shots, etc.. Throughout the trip, he regaled us with miscellaneous historical and cultural tidbits.
We first stopped at an overlook of Oyster Bay, then proceeded to the Rotary Point near Caye Chateau and related islets. Unfortunately, the Urchin Man was not present at this stop due to hospitalization or illness. The site was scenic nonetheless. Afterward, we made our way to the Orleans Qtr. and a stop at Paradise View. At that time, all of us passengers declined the stop to get out and explore. So we next went to Kontiki's on Orient Beach. Unfortunately, it was rainy when we got there so no one was able to get any sub bathing in. The rain did eventually stop, but it was still windy. Plus, the crowds seemed to have immediately came out from shelters and began staking claims of sand. So, we all explored around the area - shops, restaurants not many were opened yet, etc. Since the rain sort of hampered any beach time plans, we convinced Paul to let us load up and proceed onwards on the tour. After crossing the northern part of the island, we snaked our way into Grand Case, where we stoped at the salt mill display. Marigot was next, where we were offloaded and stopped for a prescheduled lunch at Rosemary's. The food was really good and not too expensive. The wait time was a little slow though, which severely cut into any shopping time that could have been had in Marigot. From there, we next stopped at the treaty monument on the French/Dutch border, before proceeding on to Maho Beach. We got there in just in time and in the middle of the slew of midday inbound flights. Everyone got off and proceeded to spend about an hour there taking pictures of the aircraft landing and taking off, and getting some sun in between downpours. After everyone was satisfied, we all loaded up and returned to the dock. Paul did offer to stop and drop off folks in Philipsburg, but no one took advantage.
Overall, the trip was a nice preview of the island and what it had to offer. Unfortunately, the rain influenced the amount of time we had at the various stops. Stops like Marigot and Orient Beach were shortened, through no fault of Paul's. If I had to modify this itinerary, I'd add more time to the Marigot and Orient Beach stops to allow passengers more time to shop and explore.

We had an experienced driver/guide who showed us the beauty of St. Maarten, offering us plenty of time to see and explore the sites. The excursion more than lived up to its description on their website.
Darlene T, Jan 2017
We took this as a shore excursion. It was just my family and I so essentially a private tour. It sure beat sharing a motor coach with 50 others. The guide was great and the beaches beautiful.
Pedrofidel_R, Jan 2017
The company that provided the service was very formal and accomdating, our guide Ronald was great!

My husband was sick this day and I guess some other people changed there excursions so myself and a friend had the trip to ourselves. Our tour guide was Douce and he was amazing. He took us to so many places and shared so much history. He gave us the time we needed at each place and even made a few extra stops on the way since there were only the two of us. It was clear that he wanted to make sure that we had a great day. I would definatley recommend this excursion and Douce.

Amazing Tour! Paul was awesome! He told us a lot about the area and should us sights only a local would know. He was talkative and knowledgable. shopping in Marigot was not great. But the sights he showed us and the beach was awesome!!

i lovedddd this excursion!!! all i remember was beautiful orient beach!! we spent about 2 hours there at the beach where the water was clearrr. i had such a great time, then we went to marigot for about an hour. lots of nice shopping and eating places. i wish we had stayed a bit longer in marigot. maho beach was nice but the beach was very rocky so we didn't really do anything but watch planes come in, which was cool but after that i was ready to leave lol.
Alan B, May 2016
We had a private tour with a local guide. He was fantastic his knowledge was excellent and the tour very informative. If wanted to spend more time in one area and less in another that was fine,it helped as there were only the two of us on the tour.Highly recommend.
christia, Apr 2016
This ended up being a private tour as the other people didn't show!! Deuce was our guide and he was engaging and informative. Great humor throughout tour. Shopping was non existent - Easter Monday. Wished they would have noted that when booking. ( that's the 4 stars). Beach was really windy.
charles d, Mar 2016
Diederick is fantastic! He is full of information and even moved our beach location and time due to high winds. Everything was great, Maho Beach, holding Sea Urchins, Lizards, shopping, photo stops and lounging at the beach. Best excursion we had by far.
Scott R, Mar 2016
Paul was a fabulous guide and was very knowledgeable and proud of his island paradise. We stopped at Rosemary's for lunch and Rosemary took the time to come out and visit with us and provided us with a spectacular meal! We would not hesitate to recommend this excursion.
Nelia S, Feb 2016
Our guide Junior was great !! We loved the drive from Phillipsburg cruis port to Marigot. We saw Orient Beach, Bikini Beach. I had some traditional food in Marigot and did some shopping at the market. I loved feeding bananas to the iguanas ! We then drove back to Phillipsburg and spent about 2 hours at Maho beach watching the planes which is quite an experience. It was just my husband and I on the tour which gave us a lot of flexibility on how we broke up the day.
Bruce E, Jan 2016
Tour was very good. Our driver, Paul was very knowledgeable and kept everyone on schedule.
Cynthia C, Jan 2016
This trip was awesome. Very one on one with the tour guide and he told us many unknown facts about the island. I loved it because we were not in a big bus but a van and could get to places a bus could not go. Worth every penny
Bonnie S, Dec 2015
This was a great day! Our guide, Paul, was an enthusiastic wealth of information and clearly loved his job and his island. There were 4 of us and we ended up having a private, personal tour! He even took us to a local restaurant, had the owner save us a table while he took us shopping for some guava-berry liquor that I had promised a friend I'd bring back for her! Then after lunch, we were close to a local market and he helped us find the perfect Tshirt! This was a fantastic day and entry to St. Maarten. I'd highly recommend Paul and Viator if you visiting this beautiful island.
