We learned how to make fettuccine, ravioli, and gnocchi from scratch! And we made tiramisu for dessert. Salvatore was a great teacher with his family homemade recipe and also the appetizers provided (made by his mom) were delicious.

It was a lovely setting on the beach a bit outside of Sorrento (we went back next day as loved the setting). We made fresh pasta and tiramisu and we got to enjoy it after along with some dishes specially prepared for us. We had drinks and were well looked after and we purchased some products to take home. Good class - showed up late because the message for a change of address was sent after we already left to get to the class so showed up to the wrong place. But once we got there it was a great meal and good company!

In just a few hours we learned how to make a delicious authentic Italian meal from scratch.
We booked the morning garden tour with a walk down to his families converted fishing cave in the marina - which is now a fully functional teaching kitchen. There we cooked with fresh seasonal garden ingredients over glasses of prosecco.
After learning how to make various pasta noodles, sauce with fresh garden ingredients and tiramisu, we were treated to a selection of beverages like sodas and red wine while we enjoyed our meal together!
We made friends with the other families and couples on the experience and lost track of time, enjoying meeting new people over a shared meal.
Thank you to the cooking mama family for your hospitality! We will be back!

This cooking class was so much fun! Salvatore and Andrea were so sweet and we loved hearing about their passion! We started with a tour of their garden. We then took a short walk to the kitchen, where learned so much and enjoyed our delicious meal and dessert at the end of the class. Salvatore and Andrea also prepared a couple dishes to enjoy. We truly had an amazing time and would highly recommend taking this class!

Our evening started with a walk through the garden where produce is grown for the classes. We walked down to where the class is held. We learned how to make different types of pasta. We made tiramisu for dessert. We had some appetizers and wine or beer is offered. The class was a small group and the instructor made us feel comfortable. I would recommend the class to everyone.

I attended this amazing cooking class experience with my boyfriend and another couple from home. We loved it so much! Both the other two couples were lots of fun we even went out for drinks afterwards. It was intimate and authentic! All dishes were great (limoncello, ravioli and tiramisu) to make we can’t wait to try them at home with our family and friends.

We learned how to make a gnocchi from scratch and delicious tiramisu. Chef Salvatore is very skilled, knowledgeable and patient. Wonderful cooking experience of cooking by the water. Loved it! Highly recommend it.

The instruction was great and owners were friendly. The apps were honestly the best we had the whole time in Italy! The cooking class is about a 15 minute taxi ride from the main downtown area. You will get dropped off at the garden and take about a 10 minute walk to the kitchen by the beach. Very nice.

We were two girlfriends that went to this absolutely amazing cooking class, the Cooking Mama Sorrento cooking school. The school is pioneered by an elegant Italian lady and her son, Salvatore. Not only were they great chefs and teachers, but they were genuinely nice and warm people. We got a very refreshing tour of their organic garden prior to our class, which was a treat in and of itself - all kinds of fresh vegetables & herbs were being grown there. We made tagliatelle, watched a delicious eggplant sauce being made and even made the famous Italian dessert, tiramisu! Then we got served a 3 course meal, including everything we had just made! Have never tasted pasta this good!! I highly recommend enjoying this experience while in Sorrento ❤️

Such a fun experience getting a tour of the family garden where the veggies are grown and some fresh lemonade, learning how to make delicious pasta and tiramisu, and enjoying some wine during the process. Was the perfect cooking class for our honeymoon and we would definitely recommend to anyone!

Couldn’t recommend this cooking class more!! Starting off at the owners garden where we heard about all the fresh ingredients and produce used. Then going to the kitchen and being shown step by step how to make homemade pasta and tiramisu was amazing!! Such a fun and welcoming family, with knowledge and warmth to make it the best experience!

We really enjoyed making pasta! It would have been more fun to be able to cook it and make the sauce as well. Technically, we didn’t cook anything. The son is a really nice person and did a great job with directions!

Our hosts were very friendly, spoke great English, showed us their garden with all the wonderful vegetables and fruit they grow. They demonstrated every step of the cooking process and all the instructions they gave during the class were very clear, cheking our work at every stage to make sure we were on the right track. The menu of the night we attended included pasta and tiramisu, we were involved in the initial process, they took care of the actual cooking process, and we were served with the results (which included some homemade antipasto) at the end while enjoying the view of the harbour. Lovely evening in Sorrento and a nice way to make some friends while travelling. Would highly recommend.
