Our guide Marco was amazing. He must be well known in the area because he has been a guide to many billionaires including Oprah. He immediately took us to the blue grotto because lines are known to be very long. What an experience! It’s chaos with the tour guide and boat, drivers all yelling at each other in Italian. However, when we went into the grotto our boat driver broke out in song in his amazing Italian opera voice, which echoed throughout the grotto. Acoustics were on point! It was so cool! After the grotto, sadly, it was raining and the chairlift was closed. Amazing lunch in Capri and saw as much as we could in the rain and we went onto Anacapri took a tour of the Augustus Gardens. The views were amazing. The flowers were gorgeous. overall fantastic day weather conditions. I would love to go back on a sunny day and experience at all!

Our guide got us to Blue Grotto asap and we didnt have a long wait. Also to the chairlift while the line was short. Day was organized perfectly. Amazing day!

Out guide rosella was attentive and personable. She gave us lots of help and tips not only for this trip but recommendations for other things for the holiday and souvenirs too. We had a brilliant day which was worth the money.
We were lucky as there was no queue for the blue grotto and Capri town was fairly quiet.

I don’t know where to start! The coordination for where to meet, the ferry to Capri from Sorrento, coordination of tickets…all made this a wonderfully easy experience.
Ok, how about the Blue Grotto? People travel to Capri with hopes of entering the Blue Grotto, and due to conditions, often are unable… with our amazing guide, Marco, and some good luck with the conditions, we were able to cut the line and enter! It was a fantastic experience!
From there, we had transportation waiting and went to Anacapri. With some suggestions and advice we travelled up the chair lift to the top, came down and walked around a bit, then had a great lunch at the restaurant Marco recommended.
Next up, Capri! We had almost 90-120 min to wander and shop in Capri. Meet up for the ferry back, and wrapped up a spectacular day.

If I could give Marco 10 stars I would!! Booking an early time is a MUST! You want to get to all of the experiences before the cruise ship tourists arrive. He was punctual and completely to prepared to make sure we got to experience as much as we could. We were SO lucky to go inside the Blue Grotto, from all the reviews and everything I have heard it was a 40-60 percent chance to get in and we did! That was a bucket list item we can check off our list. There are no words to explain how incredible it was to get inside and to be inside the Blue Grotto. Afterwards we took the chair lift up from Anacapri which gave us gorgeous views all around the island. We had time to shop, get custom sandals made and time for an early lunch. Afterwards we went to Capri and got to shop some more and enjoy one of the best gelatos around at Buoncore, right across from Rolex.
Even though it is close to the end of the tour season Marco did everything he could to ensure everyone in our group was satisfied. We also got a quick preview of Alberto’s (another tour guide) beautiful singing voice on our way down to Capri. It was a perfectly HOT but unforgettable day.

Before booking this tour I did a very thorough search, and selected this one based on the good reviews and the comments highlighting that the tour guide Marco has excellent connections in the island which facilitates & elevates the whole experience of the tour...This is so true and I am so glad that we selected this tour! We were lucky and Blue Grotto was open that day and we were among the first ones to enter! I would recommend to book a land tour and at the end take an extra boat tour of the island - the guide will be happy to assist you.

Marco was a very good guide with his local knowledge of Capri. We were extremely lucky to get in the Blue Lagoon as the weather was quite blowy but we just managed it before they closed & boy, was it worth it!!
The communication for the tour from start to finish was excellent & we throughly enjoyed the whole trip! We also went up the chair lift as the queue was minimal when we got there

The chair lift in Annacapri and the Gardens in Capri was a site to see. Having “ Marco” as our guide made it even better , he was charming and witty. Unfortunately we couldn’t see the blue grotto due to high tides but Marco made sure to makeup for it !

Marco was incredible! We loved every minute of this tour. He got us to the grotto early and we had very little wait. Then in AnaCapri we had no line at the chair lift. He took us around Capri and we had lots of time to shop and eat. We definitely recommend this great tour!! ♥️♥️♥️

The guide Marco lives on Capri and was very knowledgeable. He knew shortcuts and knew almost everyone on the island. However, our tour was not 0730-1630. We received a WhatsApp message early the day of that there was a new meeting time of 0920. We did not board the boat until 0955. Then because of rough waters (no storm, just rough waters) we had to leave at 1330. We had VERY LITTLE time on the island. We rushed to the chairlift, rushed through the gardens, then was back on the boat. The private transportation on Capri was nice though. Took a lot of stress out of figuring out how to get to Ana-capri. Side-note, there are two ferries, a smaller one and a bigger one. We took the small one going there and the majority of passengers aboard were sea sick and throwing up. The bigger ferry was a lot nicer and smoother.

View from the top of chair lift was amazing. Trip round the island by boat was also worth doing although too rough to do the blue grotto. Bus transport wasn't well planned and we're standing waiting too often

As you have seen, also if it's not properly high season, Capri is always really crowded and sometimes can happen that you have to wait few minutes more than what you expected.
About the Blue Grotto, the best way to compensihate missed visit is the cruise around the coast to discover the other attractions like the Faraglioni rocks and the other caves so I'm glad you enjoyed the cruise anyway!

Spectacular tour with Marco, an Italian guide who speaks Portuguese and is very nice and playful. Good person and super helpful helped us a lot in everything.
Although it is a tiring walk, as you have to walk a lot and climb several slopes, it is well worth it! The view of the island is sensational as well as the solar mountain and the garden of Augustus
