Pieve a Salti is easy to find. Please be latest at the beginning time at one of the two receptions of Pieve a Salti. Take your time to take a drink at the receptions bar (included) and to use the bathroom. Our receptionist will show you the way to the stables, where we are waiting for you.

This is located on the cutest countryside property just east of Siena. There are a bunch of horses and people helping. The instructions are very clear and the people were SO nice! I booked originally for 2 people but then wanted to add 5 to make it a private tour and she went out of her wake to change the times. She contacted me on WhatsApp very frequently regarding updates! She even sent me pictures the morning of, of the horses getting ready. She was very understanding and professional. Instructions were clear as well. Claura I believe her name is - the BEST. And the other German woman was so sweet and helpful! The trail itself is stunning. It’s a great combination of road and trail riding. Not too slow or fast. The views are insane and the weather was beautiful! I would definitely do this again! SO SWEET, kind, understanding, and amazing!

The horses are well cared for, and the guides are wonderful! The tour loops around the local valley, so it's a long and beautiful route.

The experience is worth the money you're trekking along for at least 1.5 hours on horseback along the countryside. Clara was fantastic, very friendly and super patient given we were all newbies at this. It was a lovely and very different experience.

We had a great time riding with Clara. The horses was friendly, calm and relaxed, Clara seemed to have a lot of expreience with horses and guided us safe through the stunning beauty of Tuscany. I can definately recommend and we would absoulutely do it again to try another trail next time.

Beautiful Tuscan hills horseback ride. Long 2+ hour ride over some rocky and gravelly trails and thru thick grasslands. Horses were well trained and gentle. I would recommend the guides spend a little more time stopping at picturesque spots for group photos.

I went with my two daughters and we had a great time. Clara was very nice and helpful and the location was unbelievable.
We all had a great time and I would highly recommend this activity. Try to take a lot of pictures!

This was an amazing experience! Carla was very knowledgeable about horses and the surrounding area. She was very friendly and we felt safe and comfortable the whole experience. I highly recommend. Beautiful scenery and very pleasant, safe horses. Shout out to Sammi and Chrono, best horses there!

Views were beautiful, but the horses needed to be retired. If you have any compassion for animals, don’t go here. They were physically in rough shape

Hi Wendy. I am more than baffled by this feedback, wich is in no way even close to the truth. Everyone is welcome to come and see for themselves that our horses are loved, beautiful, in a great shape and well looked after. Whats more, we feed organically and they receive first class dental and veterinary care. .

Absolutely amazing experience! Clara and Marco were very pleasant and I enjoyed their company, chatting away throughout the journey. Views are breathtaking and I 100% recommend to explore Tuscany on horseback. Horses were gentle and calm, great for beginners but if you have experience with horse riding like I do, you can enjoy gallops through Tuscan fields too ❤️🐴 Magical!

Book this now!!! This was a highlight of our 3 weeks in Italy. Clara was wonderful and so patient with our inexperience with horses. The views alone are worth booking this, but the horses were wonderful. We had a great time.

While the tour is aimed at (complete) beginners, there is very limited guidance provided before getting on the actual horse. Furthermore, as the horse assigned to me was not being very stable in the beginning, I asked whether it would be possible to have someone guide the horse throughout the beginning of the ride, in order for me to get accustomed to it. Unfortunately, this ask was not accommodated, so I found myself having to get off the horse because I was feeling too uncomfortable. My girlfriend, though, did continue with the ride and enjoyed it. I am a bit disappointed with how my situation was handled and I would mainly recommend this experience to people who have been already been a couple of times on a horse and are comfortable to handle it by themselves.

Dear Claudiu, thank you very much for your review. I remember you very well, even though it's been a few weeks since you were our guest. I was personally present when we helped you on your horse and started to explain the most important things. I could see that you were really scared and very tense. I offered to lead the horse a few steps to give you a feel for it. I also tried to give you confidence and reassure you. It happens from time to time, rarely, that adults or children do not feel comfortable in the saddle on a large, living, breathing and moving animal. Other people are afraid in other situations, perhaps in water or when climbing. I have enough experience to know when I'm no longer doing a guest a favor if I keep trying to convince him or her to take part in the ride. You clearly stated that you would like to dismount. Of course I will then comply with such a request and say that it is not a problem and that it happens from time to time. I didn't have the impression that I had ignored your secret wish to take part in the ride and made it easy for myself.
I would still like to invite all first-timers and beginners to take part in our rides. Thank you again Claudiu, saluti, Clara

Mit dem Navi, einfach zu finden.
Gute Parkmöglichkeiten, netter Empfang mit kostenlosen Getränken an der Rezeption.
Dann wurden wir zu den Ställen gebracht, wo und Carla ( Deutsch ) und ihr Team ( Deutsch, Englisch, Italienisch ) empfangen hat.
Die Pferde waren schon fertig und nach kurzer Einweisung ging es dann auch schon los. Berg hoch und runter, durch Oliven Bäume, Stock und Stein. Landschaft Traumhaft schön.
Auch für Anfänger sehr gut geeignet.
Die Pferde sind super ausgebildet, laufen ruhig und entspannt.
Carla und ihr Team suchen für jeden Reiter genau das optimale Pferd raus.
Es stehen laut Team ca 37 Stück zur Verfügung soweit ich das i. Erinnerung habe.
Carla erklärt unterwegs mit ihrer fröhlichen Art alles genau. Für uns Deutsche mit wenig englisch war es natürlich optimal 👍😁
Wieder angekommen, werden die Pferde erst mal vom Team versorgt, gewässert und geduscht. Wir würden es immer wieder machen, ein tolles Erlebnis. Danke an euch ❤️

La balade a permis de voir beaucoup de paysages, la responsable avait une attention pour tous et était reactive. La balade etait assez longue et on a été tres bien accueillis par tout le monde.
