Amazing amazing experience. Our guide Luca was absolutely wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable, very accomodating to our needs. We got to know so much from him...from the history to culture to gastronomy of Seville. Loved every minute of the tour. Ronda and the White Villages are simply breath taking. Definitely recommend.

Itinerary

Start with pickup at your Seville hotel in the morning; the exact departure time is up to you, and can be determined after booking. Leave the city for a landscape of wheat and sunflower fields, then make the first stop, the pretty town of Zahara de la Sierra, where you’ll have time to stroll through the historic center, stop in a café for coffee, and visit a small olive oil factory.

Keep driving towards Grazalema, passing through the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve that’s home to Spain’s largest colony of Griffon vultures. Upon arrival in Grazalema, pause for lunch in a local restaurant (own expense), with the option for a hike.

The third “White Village” of the day is Ronda. Walk around the city with your guide, and take in views from the “New Bridge” that’s spanned Ronda’s gorge since the 18th century.

This tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

We did a private day trip with Luca to see Ronda and the white villages. Luca is an excellent tour guide and speaks very good English. He was passionate about sharing the history and traditions of the Andalusian region with us. We had a very good lunch in a restaurant at one of the white villages. Luca spoke to the restaurant owners about our dietary restrictions and made sure we were taken care of well. I really enjoyed my conversations with him and learning about the people and culture of Andalusia. Overall it was a fantastic experience and well worth the additional expense of a private tour. Highly recommend Luca if you’re looking for a private tour guide.

Wow! What a fabulous day with Emilio!!! He picked us up at the hotel and we were a match made in heaven. Great personality and driver! He navigated us through the 3 stops. So knowledgeable and funny and kind. We loved the White Villages, he was able to get us a tasting a the olive oil mill and got us a fabulous table in Ronda for lunch! Super patient as we hiked up the hill and was an absolute professional and joy to be around. Would highly recommend this tour, specifically with Emilio!

We had the most wonderful time with Luismi. He showed us all the best spots and was incredibly patient and caring with my elderly parents. By the end of the tour, it felt like we had made a new friend, and we were truly sad to say goodbye. A special bonus was that he spoke Korean! My stepdad’s friend, who was visiting from Korea, had been feeling a little left out on English-speaking tours because of the language barrier. He was so pleasantly surprised and grateful to finally be able to communicate freely in his native tongue. Luismi is one of the kindest, most thoughtful guides we’ve ever had. We would highly recommend him to anyone visiting — he made our experience unforgettable!

We were seven people. They gave us a van that was more than 10 years old. The air conditioning did not work well at all on a hot day with 98 degree Fahrenheit temperature. We took the tour on September 15. The driver/guide was perfect.

Fabulous guide

Lucca was a fabulous guide. We saw Zahara and Grazalema white villages. They were a pleasant surprise. More beautiful and quaint than Ronda which was the main attraction. Ronda New Bridge was beautiful but we enjoyed walking the smaller towns. Lucca was very informative and helpful and made for the best day we've had on our trip so far! Thank you!

Great day in Ronda

We had a wonderful day with Diego starting with an on time pick up from our hotel. Diego was personable and knowledgeable and was a very good guide. The two white villages that we stopped at in the morning was very cute and interesting but the highlight was our visit to Ronda. He showed up many viewpoints to get the best pictures and we had plenty of free time to wander around the town and have a glass of wine. It was a great day.

My husband fell ill the morning our private tour was scheduled. I contacted the tour company and let them know. A few hours later, my husband was feeling better so we contacted them again to see if we could do an abbreviated version of the tour. We were informed that the guide was rebooked for another tour and so wasn't available. I did not expect a refund when we cancelled under the belief that the tour company should not take a loss because of our need to cancel. But, if they were able to rebook our guide, they not only didn't lose anything, they kept my money in addition to what they received from the rescheduled tour group. That doesn't feel fair

Luca picked us up at our hotel on time and provided us with a wonderful commentary about so many things on our way to the white villages. He was extremely knowledgeable and could tell that he really enjoyed his job. He took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch, and then onto where he took us to several places for photo opportunities. We really enjoyed spending the day with him. Thanks for a great day trip!

Our private tour with Jose Luis was exceptional. Jose shared his love of Spain and the environment in and around the White Villages and Rhonda. We had a wonderful Spanish meal in Grazalama, traveled winding roads in the mountains and viewed Rhonda from the gardens, old & new bridge and from a unique viewpoint from below the town. Jose was generous with his time and knowledge. A wonderful & memorable day!
