Voyager balloons in Segovia was one of the best things we did on our trip! I highly recommend this company and this adventure. We don’t speak much Spanish, so the communication before and after the trip with Ronald was very very much appreciated! We walked from our hotel in the morning to the takeoff spot, and it was not a problem at all! We were told we wouldn’t be able to find a taxi that early in the morning and that worried me but it all worked out great. We just followed our GPS and it was a 15 minute walk.

This was a good experience, but not great. While the listing promises an English speaking guide, we were just mixed with a group of Spanish speakers. Normally not a big deal, but when they ONLY give the safety instructions in spanish, that's a little scary. Everything went well, but if a little extra care was given, we'd have had a much better time. The views were great, although there wasn't a great flow, so guests were waiting a good amount of time while they prepped for take off and while they worked to put away the balloon. Overall, good, definitely needs some organization and clarity though.
I booked this experience four months in advance as the highlight of our final full day in Spain, even traveling to Segovia the night before specifically to make the early departure.
On the afternoon the day before the flight, we initially received notification that the ride was a go. Less than an hour later, it was abruptly cancelled due to "inclement weather." However, from our hotel balcony, we watched clear skies and at least eight hot air balloons from other companies take off without issue. No rain or significant weather entered the area until hours later around noon.
While I understand and respect that safety must come first, it is difficult to accept that conditions were deemed unsafe for this operator alone while every other local company flew successfully. Because we were returning to the U.S. the following day, we had explicitly communicated in advance that we had no buffer for a makeup date, making this outcome all the more frustrating.
This was meant to be a first-time experience for our group of three. Unfortunately, choosing the lower-cost option resulted in a canceled experience and a ruined final day in Spain. I cannot recommend this operator based on this experience.

The balloon hadn't been unfurled at the takeoff time, let alone inflated. It was all over the place. It was a lot of fun with one hour worth of flight time. Most of the staff does not know English so it was hard to know what is needed. I would recommend reach out to the company ahead of time as they did not contact to make arrangements. I would also ask them to provide clear instructions if you do not have a car.

Our pilot was very skilled and set up promptly after picking me up from my hotel. We all felt safe and comfortable for the whole flight. The views were spectacular and the ride was very peaceful floating up and down over the landscape. Though I was a solo traveller and the only English speaker I was made to feel very welcome. The pilot kindy explained things to me separately. After the flight we were served salami, cheese and crackers with orange juice while the balloon was packed away and then together we toasted the flight with a bottle of cava. It was a lovely morning.
