Iku-San was such a wonderful guide. She made sure we were comfortable and tailored our stops to the family. I was solo with my 4 children (ages 2-12) and she was so great with the kids too. We had a great time. The two hour tour was perfect for our attention spans and to get a nice introduction to Sapporo for first time visitors.

Tom gave a great personalized tour of Sapporo’s highlights. He was. very knowledgeable and offered much good advice on other activities in the city. His English was really good and he answered all my questions.. It’s my first day in the city and I’d strongly recommend the tour to others.

    We went to the meeting place 1 hour earlier from the call time but they did not inform us of the change of meeting place.. we messaged them but replied very very late. 😞. So sad. Though iku our tour guide is nice.

We did send you an email the day before to inform you of the change in the meeting location, but we sincerely apologize that we were still unable to meet smoothly. On the day, we also tried calling the phone number you provided, but we couldn’t reach you. Since our communication had to go through the system, each email exchange also took extra time. We deeply apologize for causing you distress during your stay in Sapporo.

    It’s a great tour! I learned so much about the city! The guides had great restaurant recommendations. I do wish the tour were a bit longer with stops at the university and other historic areas.

    Good introduction to Sapporo

    This is a great way to get an overview of the founding of the city, and some landmarks that are particularly important to locals. Our guide was knowledgeable about the evolution of the city from its founding to present day.

    Great overview and history of the city. Really helpful to start your trip here so you can make better plans to experience the city. Iku was so sweet and kind with our tour. She went above and beyond to introduce us to Sapporo as well as great recommendations and help making plans for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend and request Iku if possible.

    Great tour with Iku on our first day in Sapporo!

    Sapporo was our first stop on our trip to Japan, and we knew very little about it, so we were happy to find a walking tour for our first morning. Iku was our guide and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. At first we couldn't find her because there were a lot of people at the meeting point and we didn't know what she looked like or her name, but she found us within a few minutes. The tour was really interesting and we learned a lot about Sapporo and the area around it, as well as learning a lot about the landmarks we visited and the current daily lives of the people in Sapporo. The tour was very short - I think we were done in an hour and a half - but we went to every place listed on the tour booking. I think because we had only four people + Iku and we're all in good shape we were able to walk quickly between places. After the tour Iku told us a few recommended places to go and eat, and they were all good recommendations. Highly recommended that you do this as an intro to Sapporo when you get there.

    Absolutely essential, wonderful introduction to Sapporo

    Our guide Iku was really great! She was charming, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. We enjoyed learning about Sapporo’s history and landmarks a lot, and we especially enjoyed our trip to the TV tower to get an excellent view of the city! At the end of the trip, Iku recommended an excellent soup curry restaurant and was kind enough to personally guide us there, using the underground city passageways which we hadn’t been aware of beforehand! This tour and meeting Iku have been real highlights of our trip to Sapporo!

    I had a great time with Iku! I booked last minute and ended up being the only one on the tour. It was also a holiday, so there was a special chance to climb the exterior steps of the TV tower. Iku made sure I was game, which meant a schedule change, but I was hyped to get the chance. We hit the high points with city hall, the clock tower and old government building. It was closed, but Iku made sure to get lots of photos of me! The walk up the TV tower was super cool. Iku made learning about the history of Sapporo fun - it didn't feel like a lecture. I highly recommend this tour. The time just flew by.

    Amazing walking tour. Not only knowledgeable and fascinating guide, Uki, but she also knew a few little secret photo spots 🤫 (with no annoying “influencers” ruining the shot). Mid-winter was also magical. She also gave us a few shopping tips, & where to buy/get a good cup of TEA 🫖 (without that foul American creamer milk in it)!
