Our guide, Tiago, was very knowledgeable and kind. He made sure we were comfortable at all times. He also had great conversation and was a safe driver. He took us to some of the best places west and center of San Miguel island, to the majestic beauty of sete citades all the way to the foggy peaks of Lagoa do fogo.
He was also cultured and taught us much about the traditions of the Azorean people, from century-old ceramics to pineapple farming. We had a great time. Thank you Tiago
