Paulo did a great job of occupying my time the entire day. The trip to Furnas was the best, from experiencing the hot springs to seeing the parish of Furnas at eye level, and finally viewing it from Pico do Ferro, 570 meters above. Gorgeous landscape. High marks for this tour and to a well prepared tour guide in Paulo.

Paulo was such an excellent guide, so knowledgeable, planned a super route based on all our requests and took us to a delicious cafe and great restaurant which we would never have found by ourselves and he was fantastic with the children, keeping them engaged and being flexible about their needs for stops. A great day.

Hello all,
I hired Paulo's company for my travel adventure to the Azores. I was traveling with 5 other people in my group. He gave us Marco for our tour guide. Marco was absolutely fabulous! He was super accommodating, and friendly. He was professional in both his attire and demeanor. He was a proficient and patient tour guide, providing not only historic facts but also endearing anecdotal stories of his life growing up and his current life on the island as well as answering all of our questions. He shared a piece of himself, which made the whole experience more culturally immersive. I was so impressed with him, I hired him again for another tour. Both Marco and Paulo were very flexible. Marco worked over his agreed upon time to give us a great experience. He was just awesome! By the end of our time on the island, Marco was family and I was sad to leave him. Back to Paulo. I was leading a group of 6 people, as you can imagine in an attempt to make sure everything went smoothly I had a million questions and requests. Paulo answered promptly and was very accommodating as well as knowledgeable offering opportunities I hadn't thought of or knew about. He even took care of arranging a taxi pickup for my group, and made recommendations of other trusted guides on other islands, just to make my life a little easier. All in all, on a scale of 1 -10, I give these guys a 100. :) If you get the chance, book them you won't be disappointed.
