The walk/hike to Oia has beautiful views from both sides during the 3 hour journey. Only two moderate climbs. Best to have solid tennis or trail shoes as a good bit is rocky and uneven. Petros was a friendly and sociable guide.
Our hike/walk was so enjoyable! Ask for Despina, she was a pleasure. She was prompt and prepared. She was very knowledgeable and knew the answers to all our questions. She was prepared with water(but bring your own) and snacks and gave us recommendations for restaurants when we asked. We started at 8:30am. If you are early birds like us, you might even want to request an 8am start. If it’s summer, do not start any later than 8:30am. If you are in decent shape, it’s not a very hard 6-7 miles from Fira-Oia(ours was a little shorter based on our hotel location). The pace can be leisurely and there’s just a slight elevation gain/loss. If you’re someone who feels guilty about all the delicious food you’re eating, this is a good way to burn a few calories. Sunblock, hat, water, good shoes/sneakers are a must.
If you’re looking for one of the best experiences in Santorini, this hike is a must! Our tour guide was incredibly wise, knowledgeable, and passionate about the island’s history, culture, and hidden gems. Every stop came with fascinating stories that made the scenery even more meaningful.
The hike itself was a fantastic workout with breathtaking views the entire way. We also had plenty of opportunities to take amazing photos that we’ll treasure forever. It was the perfect combination of exercise, sightseeing, and learning. I couldn’t recommend this tour more highly—an unforgettable experience!

Our guide, Panos, was AMAZING! This was the best activity we did on vacation. His communication with us was timely and he was very responsive to any of our questions. He even recommended a great place for dinner afterwards!

Panos was an excellent guide. The walk from Fira to Oia was a great way to experience Santorini. The hike was a little more adventurous than we expected, but the views were amazing. Panos stopped along the way to give us some history and information about the island. He also gave us the opportunity to finish the trip to Oia via a van, which we did. He helped us explore Oia and helped us return to Fira. Even though we didn’t complete the hike we were glad that we booked this tour!

Panos is a fabulous guide. He was very accommodating to take our time and go slowly. He is committed to help you enjoy and appreciate the beauty and experience instead of hurrying to get done at a specific time. Panos true passion for his work. He brought water and snacks to the halfway point in advance for our group of 9 so that we could rest and recover. The hike is challenging but well worth the effort. Beautiful views of the Caldera. This is a not to be missed experience in itself but traveling with Panos made it extra special.
A fabulous hike from Firasophina to Oia. We were expertly guided by George, who was a wealth of information, genuine and kind. The views were incredible and at a moderate grade, a very doable track over 3 hours long.
A must do when in Santorini.
George was an awesome guide. He was very knowledgeable and he became our friend at the end!! He allowed us to take our time and enjoy the views. Certain points of the hike were a little treacherous so wear appropriate shoes. Highly recommend this tour. The views are breathtaking.

Our tour guide Panos catered our hike to our preferences. We hiked the gorgeous 7 mile path Fira to Oia. He gave us so much insight and knowledge about the history of Santorini’s Caldera! You must do this hike to appreciate this gorgeous volcanic island even more!
Crossing the path from Fira to Oia was a very good decision.The views are breathtaking, and you can see everything from another point of view.The path is easy to medium.Get your hat and prefer shoes instead of flip flops. All these great things become greater with this cool guy Panos!! Very positive and nice energy full of smile. He likes what he does!!

Had a wonderful half day hiking with Arsenios as my guide. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about everything Santorini! Panos, was also very helpful and communicative regarding timing and was very helpful through the entire process. I highly recommend! I was even given water and snacks along the way. We stopped and rested when I needed and Arsenios also took photos for me, as I was hiking alone. I highly recommend !!!!

Our guide Panos was in communication with us from the moment of booking. We were able to ask him questions to which he responded quickly, cordially, and accurately. Everything we agreed upon was honored. Since the landscapes were perfect for beautiful photos, our guide often offered us stops so that we could take the time to capture the magnificent scenery. He often offered to take photos of our group.
This is an excursion for which you must have good footwear (sneakers) and be dressed according to the weather. You don't need to be an athlete, but you must be in good health and have average endurance (especially in very hot weather). The guide is patient and adjusts to the pace and needs of the group.
I highly recommend this experience!
