Our tour around the Caldera was awesome! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, so we didn't need to worry about getting a taxi to the right spot. Our captain, Hector, was so knowledgeable about the islands, the history, the mythology, the volcano - all of it! He let us hang when we wanted to catch some sun, and cruise when we wanted to, even let one of us play DJ for the day. My group was so glad we chose this full day tour around the Caldera - it's the MOST bang for your buck and gives you a beautiful and different view of the cliffs, beaches, volcanic terrain, and rock formations that you wouldn't see up close if you were driving there and trying to see them by hiking in. By the time you factor in the cost of ground transportation, lunch, snacks, water taxi etc. to whatever you think you're planning for the day, the cost of this tour covers that and more. You're on a boat in the Aegean Sea which is better than being on a boat pretty much anywhere else. Request Hector for your captain if you can! He's awesome. Also, he builds a mean charcuterie board ;)

Our tour around the Caldera was awesome! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, so we didn't need to worry about getting a taxi to the right spot. Our captain, Hector, was so knowledgeable about the islands, the history, the mythology, the volcano - all of it! He let us hang when we wanted to catch some sun, and cruise when we wanted to, even let one of us play DJ for the day. Flexible Itenerary on a high speed boat

The captain will basically take you anywhere you want to go, and the speed of this boat allows alot of flexibility. The itenerary listed was suggested by Viator but not discussed by the captain. We didn't really do anything that was listed on the itinerary except for the sunset. We spent alot of time looking at the cliffs and the lava rock formations. We chose not to swim in the hot springs due to advice of the captain. There was no dinner provided as advertised but he did provide cheese, olives, and cold cuts salami as appetizers along with beer, wine, and soft drink selections. The high speed and waves made for a pretty bumpy ride in the open sea.

Amazing Santorini Private Yacht!

Wow! There is no better way to see the Island of Santorini! The boat was amazing but it was the hospitality of Madonna and Cleo that made our day spectacular! They showed us all the best spots, avoided the crowds, took endless pictures and kept our wine glasses full. An unforgettable experience- the sunset view for the full ride back was unbelievable. Such a wonderful day!

July 1, 2024: With 4 cruise ships in Santorini at the same time, my wife and I are extremely happy we chose to spend our time off ship on a private speed boat tour of the Santorini caldera instead of fighting the crowd of 11,000+ tourists in Fira and Oia. We still had to take the cable car up to Fira, but we were picked up (earlier than originally scheduled) and dropped off within a short 3-5 minute walk from the cable car exit. Our boat captain, Cleovoulos, and first mate, Nefeli, were amazing and kept us away from the areas crowded with catamarans and tourist groups the entire day, which was exactly what we hoped for. Our pictures from the water were incredible and we smiled to ourselves each time we heard our fellow cruisers complain about their experience (on land) in Santorini. If you want a unique experience away from the tourist crowds, then I highly recommend spending the day on the water with “Captain Chlo” and Nefeli.

Great Boat Ride

It was so nice to spend the morning seeing the islands from the water. The guides were friendly and interacted well with the kids. The lunch stop on Thirasia was really good and we got there before the big crowd. The hot springs are no longer hot so that is a bit misleading. We would have preferred to do a swim stop at the White or Red Beach instead (you just drive past those with a quick stop for a photo op). Overall, a fun morning and would do it again.

Amazing private experience! Views and scenery were great! Staff were excellent and knowledgable. They created a perfect experience from start to finish. Wonderful sunset cruise

Wonderful experience. Captain and crew were informative and attentive. The Axopar was almost brand new and got us quickly to our various destinations. I'd have skipped the thermal springs stop as it was unremarkable and chilly....perhaps ask the captain to swap it out for somewhere more interesting.

Truly Paradise in Santorini Yacht Cruise!

I booked this cruise for me and my nephews (21 and 18 years), and it was simply amazing! We loved being able to capture the beauty of the island by boat and swim at various spots, including the volcanic hot springs and snorkeling near Thirasia where we had a wonderful lunch at Captain John. The water and views were simply stunning in this tour. Our captain Kleo and host Penelope were fantastic, providing us interesting history along the way and serving us hors d’oeuvres and drinks. We enjoyed talking with them, hearing about the island, and my nephews loved that they brought us to some cliffs where they could even jump into the water. I would highly recommend this tour! Thank you Kleo and Penelope for the amazing experience!

Perfect way to spend the day outside of the busy tourists spots!

It was the perfect day. It was so hot outside but the ocean was refreshing and clear! Penelope and our captain were great hosts. The lunch was fantastic, so much food, and the views were incredible. We had a family with ages ranging from 10 to 75. Kids swam and grandpa stayed on the boat. Beverages provided. Only downside is the crowds in Santorini, but out of their hands. Excellent day! Would do it again!!! Thank you!

Fantastic trip with Captain Gary. He was awesome and did a great job with sight seeing and navigating the waters. He is very talented and seems to truly love what he does. My only complaint is that we had a few requests prior to the trip that I sent via email and no one responded. But otherwise, very organized and easy to book !! Thank you. We will definitely use Viator again in the future.

It was an AMAZING high-speed adventure with Kleo and Penelope around Santorini seeing and learning about all the gems of the island. The boat is immaculately clean with plenty of space to spread out and there was really nothing more we could have asked for! Worth every penny and you will definitely not regret it!

Honestly the most breathtaking views ever, the whole trip was outstanding, so nice to just have who you want with you and then you’ve the captain and their assistant, our captain and Lydia were so lovely so full of knowledge and Information they made us feel so comfortable and were beyond accommodating to us, We had an absolute incredible time was so fun to explore everywhere and was so worth every penny, we honestly can’t thank you guys enough would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely do it all over again. BEST TRIP EVER!!! LITERALLY! I spent it with my mom & dad, it was just three of us, with the captain & his first mate. they’re super nice, foods are good, they even helped me when my nose bleeds (a bit, lol dont worry its not like there’s accident or something). the area to swim are great. the captain even swam & explained about the hot spring area in the water. sunset is the best part. i couldnt find any word that can explain how amazing was it

Our sunset boat tour was the highlight of our time in Santorini. We got picked up from our villa straight to the port. Cleo and Chriss were wonderful! They took our family to less crowded swimming spots. We all had a blast and then the sunset was spectacular. Would recommend to everyone! Worth every penny.
