Our meeting point is at the gazebo shown in the photos. We ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class starting to check in and getting settled before starting promptly at 4:30pm. Free street parking all around but can be crowded.

What To Expect

Make your way to the Condado area of San Juan for your 1-hour salsa dancing class. Meet your guide, a professional dance teacher, who is experienced in teaching both beginners and more skilled students.

Get out on the floor with your instructor and fellow students to learn what is commonly called 'LA-style' Salsa, which often features showy, flashy, and includes big moves and tricks. The timing of this style is a bit easier to pickup than other styles, and is well-suited to beginners.

This class is open for any level, however, it is tailored towards beginners. You do not need to have a dance partner to participate.

This was so much fun! We did this lesson on the last day of our trip and it has been a highlight. In one hour, the instructor took us from basic steps to a full circuit. He was so fun and engaging. Both my husband and I really enjoyed this lesson. Would highly recommend.

We had a great time taking a salsa class in the park in Puerto Rico. Steven was an excellent teacher—easy to follow, full of positive energy, and brought really great vibes to the whole experience. He explained the steps clearly and made it fun from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend this class whether you’ve never danced salsa before or already know some basics and want to improve. My wife and I both had a blast!

My sister-in-law and I signed up for this fun class during a recent visit to Puerto Rico. We felt so fortunate to have Steven as our instructor - especially since we had him all to ourselves. We appreciated that the class was not canceled and instead he enthusiastically and patiently taught us the steps and “signals” to prepare us for a night of dancing. Militza was wonderful she was patient and easy to follow and I would take another class with her. The location was beautiful right by the ocean and quick walk to nearby local restaurants to make for a fantastic night out. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the size of the class felt a little big 20-25 people.
