My wife and I ended up being the only students because of rain (there’s no reason to cancel if it rains, we were covered), and we had an absolute blast! Neither of us knew how to salsa and Juan taught us so well that we left ready to hit a salsa club to practice our new moves. Out of all the amazing things we did and saw in Puerto Rico, this was by far one of the most memorable experiences we had, and we have a new friend in Juan. Highly recommend!!

Fun, relaxed and great teacher! Juan was our instructor. He was hilarious. We learned the basic steps of salsa and had a great time doing it. He never made us feel uncoordinated or uncomfortable. My partner was unsure but before you knew it she loved salsa too!

Great instructor! The instructor was extremely professional, patient, fun, and made the learning experience enjoyable! I 100% suggest taking the class. If you are an experienced dancer take the private class he really push’s your learning. Suggest wearing something light and flowy to help you feel sexy and get into it more.

Juan was both funny and entertaining. I mistakenly booked a private class but that simply made the experience better. Despite the sweltering heat, learning salsa felt like a breeze. With grinning smiles and foreheads dripping in sweat, we clumsily avoided each others toes to a botched eight count. Juan quickly took on his persona as Juanita when he danced with my partner. I must say, she’s much better than me but polite enough to keep her hands where I can see them. We danced while leaving enough room for Jesus but also close enough to provoke childlike giggles.
I would gladly book with Juan again and would happily recommend his class to anyone.

Taking a salsa class with Juan was one of the best experiences I had on my solo trip to Puerto Rico. During our private lesson, I learned so much about salsa and improved immensely due to Juan’s expertise, patience, and willingness to improve my salsa skills. This was such a fun experience. Juan is very personable, great instructor and had a great sense of humor. My 15 year old was not excited about going because they are really shy. Juan was patient and made her laugh. My husband wanted to learn salsa because he doesnt dance at all and now he is excited about trying out the new steps and practicing more. The two hours flew by because we were having so much fun. This is a must when coming to PR for singles, couples, and families. Juan also gave us great tips on great places around the island.

What a great experience. Juan was a Star instructor. My mom and I attended this class and it didn’t disappoint. Even though she’s 76, has troubled vision and legs aren’t what they use to be, Juan made it that she still had the the best time and learned.
His instructions are clear and simple and get you dancing in a few minutes. I swear my mom and I didn’t the next day practicing our steps and teaching my wife!
I highly recommend this as part of your trip.

My goal for 2023 was to learn how to dance salsa and I’ve accomplished it. Even if it’s just the basic steps I feel more confident dancing it. Our intructor was very nice and patient. Very encouraging when we got it down and gave good instructions to correct our errors. He gave nice recommendations on places to checkout. Very fun activity to do!
