saw a bunch of cool things and places.first stop coffee was delicious and good view of the crops, second tried corn tortillas with a sour creme and saw exotic birds. on our way stoped by to see wildlife. sloth,monkeys,tucan etc ziplines were so fun got your adrenaline pumping. lastly hotspring was so relaxing water very warm and hot drinks taste good and cheap. dinner delicious buffet style. our shuttle was comfortable ride was 2 hours felt longer on the way back. our guide Oswaldo was amazing and funny. would definitely recommend and worth your $$$

Very full day of activities and food. Well planned. Not spring was gorgeous. With views of volcano. Steven tour guide was great an informative. Stopped to see sloths along the route as a bonus. Highly recommend.

Alex, our driver/guide was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I would 10/10 recommend this trip and he is a big reason why. He taught us so much about Costa Rica, and even made special stops so that we could try native fruits! He was funny, charming, entertaining, and accommodating (as different people needed different bathroom stops at different times) The zip lining was truly the highlight of this trip. It was super amazing, especially the little surprise they have at the end. If you are a thrill seeker, this is for you! The Hot Springs were also a major highlight, it was so calming and definitely a good time to try out the many Hot Springs they have. We did purchase food and drinks there on our own dime, and that was good. The only reason I give this four stars instead of five, is because both the lunch and the dinner were absolutely terrible. The lunch was cold and clearly not fresh. My fish tasted like it was prepared days ago and put in the refrigerator. The dinner food was more of a buffet style. But the food looked old and dry, and like it had been sitting out all day. (You eat dinner around 7:30 PM.) once we tasted it, it was clear that that was probably the same food sitting out since 11 AM. Someone in our party even had severe stomach pain for the next 24 hours. My only recommendation would be to lower your expectations of food, and bring your own nonperishable snacks so that you can survive the day. After lunch, I had a feeling dinner would be terrible, which was why we bought food at the Hot Springs location. I don’t think the food should be a reason not to go, you get a lot of things done in one day for a decent price with this tour. Hopefully you have Alex as your guide!

All Day Experience, Good Way to Explore

This is definitely a full-day experience. Our driver was prompt and thoughtful throughout the experience, however, keep in mind that this is indeed a 14-hour day. While the trip description is accurate, it is creatively embellished. You will see sloths. You will see exotic birds. You will see iguanas. These sightings, however, are on the side of the road in a tree; over a bar edge in a restaurant and through a wired-window in a souvenir shop respectively. The volcano views will likely be from the van. I am a photographer and had my professional camera, so perhaps I was a bit over prepared. Your android or iPhone may be sufficient for window shots of both tbe waterfall and volcano. The zip lining activity and hot springs were the highlight of the trip for me. At the end of the seven zip lines is a surprise thrill drop. If you try it, just be prepared to walk up about 115 stairs to get back to the top. The hot springs was such a welcomed experience after the zip lining action. Be sure to pack a swimsuit and a change of clothes. The hot springs provide such a serene atmosphere. The lunch and dinner offerings were good. Both were at quaint little restaurants. Both had dogs walking around. (I hate dogs). But the service was good and the people were friendly. The driving is extensive. Our group had nine people, so we could spread out a bit. I couldn’t imagine being in such a van with a full load. There is no where to charge your phone and the WiFi is spotty. Overall, we met some amazing people from around the world and our driver was very nice. This excursion is a good way to see Costa Rican neighborhoods and learn bits and pieces of the culture.

Don’t waste your money

Don’t book it’s basically just a long road trip with food stops the beginning of the day started with the coffee plantation that we did not get to visit due to it being closed they did not refund us for cause they thought the driver explaining it to us was the same as actually seeing the plantation, walking and having a experience of the plantation with a guide. We also did not get to go zip line the driver claimed that some people in the group did not want to but later on blamed it on traffic mind you it was a 14 hour excursion, seeing the volcano isn’t apart of the tour but it is advertised like it is so be aware of that. You only get to see the tribal people for 15 minutes they give you a shot of drink then you shoot a self made arrow and that it’s no history back story no cultural lesson. The “ iguana center” was the driver stopping on the side of the road and showing us iguana in a tree. The hot spring is not a volcano hot springs but instead them going to Paradise hot springs hotel which is really just pools set at different temperatures. If you stay in a Airbnb they won’t pick you up from the Airbnb they want you to meet them at the nearest hotel which defeats the purpose of paying for pick up and drop off.

This adventure was excellent value our guide. Iman was excellent. He took wonderful care of us, spoke English and Spanish equally well and made sure that we got to see everything that we wanted to being able to be upfront and close with a sloth within touching distant of it was amazing. The iguanas were spectacular to seewith thoroughly enjoyed the zip lining and the hot springs as well. We got to eat at two different places and the food was very good at both. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody who’s looking for a full fun adventure some day.

Fun Costa Rican Adventure.

We loved our experience. We met wonderful people in our group. Jorge was a great tour guide and knowledgeable. If you are adventurous this is the tour for you. Ziplining through the rain forest was so fun but if you don’t want to do that you can choose to go to the hot spring earlier instead. We saw sloths, many birds, and iguanas. You get about 20 minutes to shop at a souvenir shop and at any of the stops along the way. The hot springs was a nice end to the day. Relaxing and peaceful. It is a jam packed full day experience, but so fun. Pros- Ziplining was the highlight. There was a variety of options for the food both vegetarian and meat. Cons- It is a long bus ride.. Our bus was full so it was a tight squeeze. If it is cloudy you will not be able to see the volcano, this was out of our control. Suggestions- Bring something to entertain yourself on the bus. There are going to be long periods of driving. Bring snacks, while you get lunch and dinner you might want something for the bus ride especially since dinner is after the hot spring about an hour out from that adventure.

Driving forever

Honestly it was fun, but everything was cut short. Zip-lining, we couldn’t do the last couple lines cause something unexpected happened which is completely understandable. The issue of that I thought that at least meant we would have more time at the hit spring attraction but nope. We are given an 1hr and a half to get dressed to swim, swim, shower and get dressed again. Little to no time enjoying the experience. Driving everywhere was ssoooooo long. From one place to another was torture. Also, another time crunch was the souvenir shop. We’re tourists and wanna shop and couldn’t do that comfortably. Lastly, they should definitely rake volcano out of the description. We didn’t hike it nor stop to see it. Never did we have time to take photos of ourselves. It was so weird bc it was the entire day and they restricted us to do anything. Regardless, the tour guide was nice and the scenery was incredible. I think they need to be more organized. Overall expect driving for hours and hours.

Thanks to Go Tours Guide, Kenneth, this was a perfect ending to our stay in San Jose. Kenneth was so engaging with everyone on the bus: he shared facts about Costa Rica, was very knowledgeable about each place we stopped. He spotted a sloth in a tree so we stopped and everyone got out for the photo opportunity! Our stops included a coffee plantation, La Paz Waterfalls, Arenal Volcano, zip lining and hot springs. We ended our day with a stop at a road side restaurant for a great dinner. I would highly recommend this trip....and ask for Kenneth as your tour guide....he was the absolute best.

Amazing trip! Harlem our guide and Will our driver were great as well! Very good pace and you will not be bored. Didn’t have time for breakfast and we stopped to try some tortillas which held us over for lunch. Zip lining was so fun and the hot springs had a bar! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the zip-lining tour in the rainforest. Regarding your other comments, we are not entirely clear on their nature, but I will address each of your concerns. First, it is nearly impossible not to see at least one of the waterfalls included in this tour. The “La Paz Waterfall” is situated just a few feet from the viewing area where we stop. The second waterfall, San Fernando, is observed from a distance and, while it is occasionally obscured by fog, this happens only once or twice a year. Given this, we are puzzled as to how you did not enjoy at least one of the waterfalls. As for viewing the volcano, please note that if the weather is cloudy, visibility of the volcano is not possible regardless of which one you visit in Costa Rica. This is completely beyond our control. Regarding the hot springs, the tour description clearly states that they are manmade pools filled with natural hot water from the volcano. Additionally, pictures of the pools and further details are provided in the product presentation for you to see before purchasing the tour, but if these details were overlooked, unfortunately, there is little we can do to address that.

Good stops, poor leadership

The hot springs visit was great. The zip line tour was thrilling. The rest of the trip was meh. The weather was cloudy so we could not see the volcano. The weather is not the tour guide's responsibility, but the tour guide did not communicate well. He knew English, but did not tell the group when things were happening, when to be at the bus (which turned out to be a different time than what was on the viatour website), did not provide any background on the waterfall or coffee plantation we stopped at. He did not really engage with us much at all.

We had a good time on this tour. Our tour guide Harlem has great knowledge on Costa Rica and made sure we were taken care of. We saw sloths. Hummingbirds and toucans, and leaned coffee plants. The highlight of the tour is the canopy zip lining, an unforgettable experience!

Made it there and back safely. Food was amazing, nicely seasoned. Juices were awesome of course (everything's natural). Staff at each spot were super Friendly. This tour had everything you could want. We went north into the mountains and the north is so Different from the big tourist destinations. What a beautiful Country experience. We loved the zip lining and the Hot springs. Zip lining was awesome. We felt very safe and it was thrilling. 10 different runs. The hot springs was a wonderful way to end of our adventure. So relaxing. We also saw a coffee plantation and tasted Costa Rica coffee. I must say this is probably the best coffee I have ever had. We loved this adventure and would recommend it to everyone.
