Private class to mold one piece of ceramic art. Does not include fire/glaze/paint. Great option for value. Took a bus from the marina and walked back so it was easy enough to get to.
We were given the choice of shipping our clay back to us or picking a completed ceramic piece. I think it would have been cool to be able to work with the clay at different points in the process. So just keep in mind that the class is only the clay wheel and molding the clay into a vase. You’d need a longer class if you’re looking for something more advanced but this is great for a first timer or beginner.
The clay master class was great. I was there with my family and we really enjoyed the experience. Elvira did a great job explaining us the history of Italian ceramic craftsmanship and we got to make our own little pots out of clay.
Would definitely recommend!

This was without a doubt the highlight of my day trip in Vietri sul Mare! Elvira was so welcoming and is a fantastic teacher — I loved that I could learn about the importance of ceramics for the city while trying the process myself. Such a unique experience to appreciate Vietri sul Mare with a talented artist. You should definitely find time to take this class with Elvira, even if you are only there for the day!

I had such a great time at the ceramic lesson! The teacher was super friendly and made the whole process easy and fun. I got to learn the basics, try out different techniques, and make something I was really proud of. It was relaxing, creative, and a nice break from just sightseeing. Definitely a unique experience I’d recommend to anyone visiting!

We had an amazing afternoon learning how to work with the clay, a very wholesome activity to do! we booked this experience last
minute and i'm so happy we did! the host is very experienced, patient and a great teacher, offered us a coffee and water on arrival and helped us when we needed it! Would 100% recommend!

Elvira is a master at her craft. She is a patient teacher who will have you making a cute piece in no time. Be aware these pieces need time to dry and you will need to ship them back home. I opted to buy a pre-made piece for myself and left my little creation in her care to do with as she will. It's a nice introduction to the world of pottery and you can say you learned from a Master.

Oh my! What a treat!!! This was the highlight of our day yesterday! Even my husband, who wasn't even all that interested in doing this activity absolutely LOVED it!!! The instructor was very welcoming and pleasant! My husband, being a college instructor, was very impressed with how clearly she explained things, speaking mostly in english while switching to her native tongue Italian from time to time. She was very patient and helped us while still allowing us to do most of the work ourselves! We can't say enough good things about this experience and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vietri Sul Mare!!!

The instructor was very nice. It was a quick one-hour lesson but seemed like a perfect amount of time to try out the pottery wheel. She was very patient and helpful. It was fun. It is right on the street with all the ceramic shops and restaurants. About a 20-minute walk from the ferry (uphill). She was very accommodating with us by changing our time by one hour as needed to make the ferry schedule. Highly recommend for a fun quick experience.

We enjoyed this Ceramics class very much. The instructor was very patient spoke good English. My wife has a fair amount of experience with throwing clay and was able to learn some new techniques that she was thrilled with. I have little to no experience, but like I said the instructor was Very patient and I had a good time. If you have any interest in this type of class, I would definitely recommend it.

We booked this activity for our daytrip to Vietri. We originally booked a 1-hour ceramics lesson, but asked for an extra hour because we were having so much fun. Elvira was super nice and very patient with us, despite us having no experience with pottery. She showed us every step and kindly helped when we were struggling with the clay. Would definitely recommend!

Esperienza super interessante e romantica, proprio da film, come in Ghost. La signora del negozio ci ha incantato spiegandoci l'arte della ceramica e aiutandoci con l'uso del tornio, consigliamo questa esperienza che per noi è stata indimenticabile.
