It was a disappointing tour. Our guide was lovely but information on Salerno and the locations was minimal. Instead of an air-conditioned comfortable vehicle, we were taken in our guides car, a small fiat shared with another 2 people. The only site that was worthwhile was the castle which had stunning views and there was no alcohol provided but some home made gelato and a bottle of water.

Thank you for your feedback. Please note that this is a private tour, and the itinerary clearly lists all the sites included. Alcohol is provided upon request where the gelato stop is offered. The other locations mentioned are part of the itinerary, and all guests are free to enjoy them as they wish.
Regarding your comment about the experience, we believe that rating the tour with one star seems a bit excessive given the effort to provide a personalized and private experience.

Francesca, our incredibly knowledgeable tour guide, was simply amazing as she took us on an enchanting journey through the heart of Salerno. She made sure to ask about our interests and preferences, which made our experience truly special. Growing up in Salerno, Francesca had a profound understanding of the city's history and expertly shared how it has transformed over the years. Our itinerary featured visits to iconic spots like Villa Comunale in Vietri sul Mare and I Due Fratelli. To top it off, Francesca treated us to refreshing homemade Lemoncello and lemon ice cream from her friend Geno, a local lemon grower with a charming produce stand, which was a perfect way to cool off in the 80-degree heat. We are incredibly thankful to Francesca for her outstanding guidance and warm hospitality. Thank you, Francesca!

Outstanding tour with Osvaldo!! Not only do you get exclusive panoramic sightseeing points from the top of the mountain side, but you get refreshments at local shops included!! We were lucky to enjoy delicious fresh picked figs and homemade fresh fruit ice cream @Uncle Gigi's shop w/ breathtaking views of the coast.
Already looking forward to revisiting Salerno! 😊

The views and the history - we were disappointed in Francesca belong able to find us even though we were clear in the location. She was in a car and not a van, so it delayed the stat by about an hour. You said alcoholic beverages and there weren’t any.

Francesca was knowledgeable of area - knew couple small not so traveled spots - stopped by local spot where Gino grows and makes own Lemon gelato and lemon cello - both delicious ! Kind , knowledgeable and accommodating !

We were looking for a short tour for a reasonable price to start out our visit to Salerno. We had such a wonderful morning with Francesca! We cannot speak highly enough of this memorable tour. Francesca was so welcoming and made sure that we enjoyed every aspect of our tour. She took us to a little secret spot with a wonderful view. We also toured the Arechie castle and took lots of pictures. And the visit to Gino's limoncello stand was the perfect treat. We were very pleased and have no regrets about booking this tour

Osvaldo was wonderful. We was fluent in English and informative. He took his time and was concerned about our safety on the uneven ground and the many steps. He has a great sense of humor and made the trip so much fun. The views he showed us were spectacular. We enjoyed this handsome and friendly tour guide.

Osvaldo was awesome. He picked us up in old town and gave us a natives perspective of Salerno. We were taken to incredible viewpoints which we would have never found ourselves, spent time with his friend Gino who shared his family recipe for homemade granita, lemoncello, and amaro, and then bought us his favorite pasta in Vietri sul mar. We got great recommendations for dining and must see landmarks A concentrates experience that only took a few hours.

My husband and I took this tour yesterday. Oswalde was an excellent tour guide! The views were amazing and he took beautiful photos of us! We had ice cream and limoncello that was incredible. Seeing and hearing about Salerno from a local, made this trip most memorable !

We found the tour to be very worthwhile. We got to see parts of Salerno, and beautiful views, that we wouldn’t have seen on our own. Our guide, Osvaldo, was very knowledgable and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the fig ice cream - a wonderful finale. We would highly recommend this trip to anybody who wants to see Salerno.

Osvaldo contacted me in the morning to confirm pick up time and address. There were only 3 in the group and we spoke 2 different languages and he ensured we all were kept informed. The views from the lookout and castle were stunning.
This tour was so personal especially when we were taken to his uncles home who treated us with home made goods and a most spectacular view.

Our tour guide Osvaldo was great! He was knowledgeable about Salerno and took us to various sites to get great pictures while providing information on each site we stopped at. He even helped me with my Italian pronunciations! This tour is great value for a panoramic introduction to beautiful Salerno. Loved the city and the tour.

Great introduction to Salerno as Osvaldo took me around to the best view points where tourists don't often go and provided excellent conversation and commentary on the finer points of the city and region so I knew where to easily go the next two days for some additional highlights. Terrific local insights to avoid the mass tourism and hit some real beautiful places. Thank you for a nice afternoon in and around Salerno!

Tour cancelled but we were not notified, we sent message day prior to check pick up point but with no response , apparently it had been cancelled already by then, took several messages with Viator to get operator to respond . Money was refunded promptly though

Tour was delete and you will recieve full refound ...the reason is only for the bad weather in all of italy ...im sorry but panoramic tour is by walk and with a lot pf rains not have sense this tour...i give you full refound in your account ...is not the true what you write
