- From December to the end of January, Rovaniemi experiences a very high level of tourist traffic, which is why we often have to form exceptionally large groups for this activity. For a more private experience, we recommend that you book the Northern Lights Photography Tour - Small Group instead.

Dylan and the team were fantastic and insightful, we received quite a bit more from the experience than we had expected and were even provided with useful knowledge of the town at the conclusion of our trip. I would absolutely recommend this team for future Norther Light excursions.

Loved that it came complete with overalls and boots so that you can enjoy the lights without freezing to death! We had a really good Aurora experience. Lights were not that strong, but it colors were still vivid, and even the stars were mesmerizing, plus we got great the photos.

If you want to do a trip that is focused on photography then this isn't the one for you despite the title.
The northern lights didn't show, hey that's nature and it can't be controlled. However, there were some things that weren't as sold on the trip description.
Firstly, "small group" means that you will be in a minibus but part of a convoy of vehicles packed with people from the same operator who will all pile out at the same location. In reality you are transported in a small group but are part of a much larger group.
Also, do not expect to have any kind of focus on photography and there is nobody there to help you should the aurora be visible. Our guide, nice though she was, was on her first trip.
All in all, find a different trip if photography is what you want.

Very bad tour ....the tour operator was not keen to move to different location despite not locating northern lights at one location. They were bound to just get over it and complet it...and go home. Very bad horrible and not at all recommended ....aharndo sergio all of them were only concerned to get over and head back rather than provide experience and enlighten customers ....photos taken was bad and not professional at all ...NOT RECOMMENDED

Overall the experience was great! However they should take care of the winter clothes they give to participants in terms of how clean they are, especially with covid-19, we received onw with tissues in the pocket.
But our guide Micky was amazing, she drove further away so we can see the northern lights and we enjoyed a great barbecue and they even got us corn due to dietary restrictions we have.
I would definitely recommend this trip!

Prezzo alto rispetto a quanto offerto. Una gita più che un escursione. Ci siamo divertiti cmq grazie alle guide simpatiche ed amichevoli ma non valeva i soldi spesi. Gita piuttosto statica. Foto foto foto. Più per appassionati che vogliono farsi fotografare. 3 stelle perché è nella media di rovaniemi altrimenti sarebbero state 2. Per fortuna ci sono ancora altre escursioni che fanno la differenza ma credo di altre compagnie. Peccato perché i ragazzi di questa sembravano essere dei veri appassionati del mestiere leggendo le vecchie recensioni ma ad oggi sembra che la loro agenzia sia diventata più una macchina da soldi. E soprattutto più per un pubblico commerciale. non aspettatevi vere cacce all aurora come dicevano le recensioni di qualche anno fa. Se c'è c'è altrimenti bisogna essere sportivi. Potrebbero abbassare un pochino i prezzi visto lo stile di massa adottato o variare lo standard utilizzato soprattutto in assenza certa dell aurora e non far credere alla gente fino all ultimo che ci sarà anche quando è impossibile per condizioni meteo e kp
