Every excursion in DR takes a long time to get going. I appreciate the effort every company puts in to getting all these people together so we can see and do some fun stuff. We went to a souvenir shop, which is how pretty much every excursion starts. This was my 2nd favorite excursion on my vacation and my sons number 1. My number 1, no one tried to sell us anything the entire time. Gotta hand it to the DR people, they can hustle like a mofo. We had a great time and got a good lunch.

Very bad, and a terrible experience. Would not recommend to ANYONE. First of all, we were picked up at 7:00 am, but only reached there at 1 pm. The experience getting was terrible, and not worth it. There was so much delay in picking and dropping passengers. It was overall a mess, and significantly disorganized and disappointing. We had to wait hours just to get on the boat, and start the ride to the island, which itself took a hour. Once we finally reached there, the island itself was very boring and dissatisfying. However, the worst was just yet to come. The boat ride took 2 hours to get back on shore. Then, we had to wait for 30 mins again. Once the bus had come, we were made to wait for 2 hours inside the bus! We had to sit for two hours not even moving. This was because of a dispute with a passenger, which the company terribly handled. In addition, the bus driver himself was very slow in driving. In the end, we had reached the resort at 9, when they promised that we would get there at 6:30. Imagine waiting all of this time wet and full of sand. The management was dreadful, and therefore, DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We arrived at the meeting point in our own car, but the company was one hour late. Then we had to drive for two more hours to get to the boat, and on the way they left us for 30 minutes at their local souvenir shop so we would spend money there. I didn’t want to stop, but nobody asked me, and this stop was not mentioned in the tour program.
Later, we had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for our boat, while other groups were getting on their boats and leaving for the island right away. The guide kept saying “one minute,” but it went on endlessly. They also didn’t give me a life jacket on the boat because there were not enough, and I don’t know how to swim. (I have photos and videos with timestamps showing everything.)
Then they stopped in the water for swimming, and later took us to Saona Island — but it was the worst beach I have ever seen in my life. There were bottles and containers everywhere. The lunch they gave us tasted spoiled, probably because it had been sitting in the sun for too long, and it likely caused an infection — both my boyfriend and I had diarrhea the next day, which was horrible.
After that, we spent 2 hours on the boat going back and then more time on the bus. The guide told us we would return after 3 hours, but in the end the trip took 8 hours.
But the worst part was that they dropped me off in the middle of the road in the dark, not even on the side, literally at a traffic light so I had to run across three lanes of traffic. I had no reflective clothing and had to walk on the highway in the dark to reach my car.

Do not book with this company . We had a tour on October 2nd and they told us because of seaweed they had to cancel. Viator did refund us our money. Then the company contacted us directly and we agreed to go the following day to a different one VIP and sent them the money via PayPal . They never showed up . We have been trying to get our money back since the same day and they always gives us the run around . Please DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I will be also reporting them to Viator . Here are some screenshots, but there’s way more of them telling us they are working on it and never send our refund or answer our calls .

This was terrible from the minute I booked. Called to ensure we would be on the same boat as our friends who booked too and no one could confirm. We were told a pick up time of 0700 then received text messages later in the day from several different numbers in WhatsApp for a pick up time of 0830. No matter how much we tried to clarify could not get a straight response. Our drive showed up to the wrong resort to pick us up. We got dropped off 45 minutes before the boat was ready for us. One man approached the group and put a yellow string around each wrist to indicate our tour. A different man came and took them off and put a green string on our wrists. There were not enough seats on the boat for as many as they let on, the boat toilet didn't work, we all got sick from the beach lunch which had flies all over it, our shuttle back ran out of rum and water, our water taxi to take us off the catamaran was an hour late ao we sat on the boat with no way to get to shore. Then our arranged driver was an hour late to pick us up to take us back to the resort. It was a terrible experience, no customer service, and left our group stranded and very scared waiting in the dark for our ride uncertain if he would even come. Do not book this excursion!!!! Pay the extra money and book through your resort!!!
