Beautiful but busy tour- helpful tour conpany

So the visit to Saona island is a bit busy and chaotic getting there, but nice and worth it. It seems like no matter who you may book with, you get the same tour, with vans and busses bringing you to the same place, then boat operators (or “tour guides”) each grabbing 15 people or so and they are your person to follow for the day. There are hundreds of people each day so very busy and full everywhere. Nobody checked our ticket or tour company and we were with others from several different tour operators. The water is beautiful. The natural swimming pool is nice. No more star fish there, but we spotted some in the deeper water on our way to the island. The island has many boats and people. Massages are offered but it is a bit of a scam with prices being raised while you are on the table or agreeing to a “free trial”. The food was just ok, generic chicken and rice, but fine. Fish and lobster being sold for $40 or so. The “open bar” is only rum and Coca Cola (beers are $5, coconuts are $5). You go one way on a motor boat (pretty bumpy and choppy but fun), and the other way on a catamaran. Part of the reason I am giving five stars is for the tour operator who was in touch with me at the beginning and end of the day to make sure everything was OK. He messaged me via WhatsApp and it was very reassuring, especially when things felt chaotic and I wasn’t sure if I was in the right place I believe his name was Richard and give him that all of the tours use the same basic format if you’re not doing a private tour, I would go with this tour company and give them a contact info just in case.
