Pickup details
Pick-up is included from most hotels and resorts in the Bávaro–Punta Cana area. For the Cap Cana area, you must request an access pass so we can enter the property. Transportation is not included for same-day bookings or for accommodations located in the Friusa or Verón areas — guests in these cases must arrive at the meeting point on their own. The night before your tour, you will receive a confirmation with the exact pick-up time and whether it will be at your hotel Lobby or Security Gate. In most hotels, pick-ups are done at the Security Gate unless you request and obtain a special access pass for us to reach the Lobby. Pick-ups start within a 1 - 2 hour window before the tour begins. Please be ready at the confirmed location 5 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time. Our driver will take a photo of the Lobby or Gate upon arrival. If you’re not present within 10 minutes, it will be considered a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable.

I was a little nervous about this excursion based on some of the reviews, but we had a great time! It was well organized, and the staff was very accommodating. My teens wanted their own buggy’s and we were able to purchase 2 more at $25 each. The staff was very friendly and safety was their top priority. Definitely recommend!

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that we are currently in Holy Week (Semana Santa), one of the busiest times of the year. As one of the only ranches operating to fulfill all pre-booked reservations during this holiday, the flow of people is much higher than usual, which can affect wait times.Regarding our equipment, please rest assured that safety is our top priority. Our buggies are heavy-duty vehicles maintained daily to endure extreme conditions of mud, rocks, and water. They are built for this rugged terrain, not for luxury, and they are fully capable of completing the adventure safely.

I had such a great time ATV riding! It was sooo fun and an amazing experience. The staff had excellent customer service and made us feel very safe the entire time. I really enjoyed driving the ATV and everything was well organized. Overall a great experience and I would definitely do it again! Shout out to Michel!!

I had a great time during this excursion. We did have to pay $35 USD for another Atv as they were saying we needed to share one and we didn't want to do that.
Great Trail. We went a day after a rain fall so it was alot of fun. People in the buggies got very dirty FYI. Covered in mud.
When we went to the cave, you get surrounded by sales guys that are trying to sell jewelry etc. I find them a little on the aggressive side. At the Macao beach, they were trying to rip us off at the restaurant /bar they have there
For one mixed drink, they wanted $45 USD. Ridiculous!!! Just trying to hustle us. Drivers and staff were great.

ATVs: Our 'Shared' option is priced for two people per vehicle. To have a private vehicle, the 'Solo' rate applies,
Outside Vendors: We only sell the tour itself. The jewelry sellers and the bar/restaurant at Macao Beach are independent locals and do not belong to our company. We have no control over their prices or sales methods, but we appreciate your warning to other travelers.

The buggy/ ATV experience was disappointing overall. The ride itself was very slow with frequent stops due to unruly guests, which made the experience feel drawn out rather than exciting. The tour guide was focused on a few disruptive people and the rest of the group suffered due to this. Unfortunately, the staff was also rude and unhelpful, which negatively impacted the atmosphere and enjoyment of the tour. We expected a more engaging and customer-focused experience, but it fell short of expectations. I would recommend trying other companies for this same type of tour.

We respectfully disagree with several points mentioned. Our tours are operated under strict safety rules, and speed limits and stops are required to ensure the safety of all guests, not just a few. When some participants do not follow instructions, guides must intervene—this is part of responsible tour management, not neglect of others.
Our staff is trained to be professional and helpful at all times, and we take such comments seriously; however, we also stand by our team and their commitment to safety and service. Thousands of guests enjoy this experience every year for exactly that reason.

This was so much fun! We all had dune buggy’s. We have side by sides and ATVs at home, these are not the same. They were rough, but that’s part of the charm and the experience. Plus, you don’t have to worry about anything when you’re driving them through the mud and the rough roads. The tour operators are fabulous and so much fun! Even the driver to and from the hotel was a blast. We would highly recommend the tour. The price is great and the experience is so fun.
Bring cash! Or at least something for payment. We tried to keep things minimal and only brought a tip. They stop at locations with food and drinks (we would have loved to purchase something) as well as local trinkets from local vendors. We were disappointed that we packed light.
They also take pictures and you can purchase them at the end. The pictures were so fun and definitely worth it.

The buggies sounded like they were going to fall apart and we kept having to stop and just sit there for long periods of time. Our guide was more interested in talking with the child in his buggy than to show us a good time.
Don’t let the guy with the lizard touch your phone, soon as that happens he’s snapping pictures of you with his lizard, wether you want to or not, then tries to charge you a ridiculous amount. Just had our hopes up for a better day and was seriously let down.

The main purpose of our trip was to experience the buggies and drive them through the muddy puddles. This trip did just that. The 3 starts us reflective of the components around the trip like 1) pickup - we were only told the pickup time and place very late the night before which chased some anxiety 2) the van that picked us up should not be allowed to be on the road. The car was very unsafe, broken seats, all engine lights were on, it had no handle on the outside for the sliding door etc. felt very unsafe and sketchy. But the driver was very nice. 3) they try to sell you things all along the way from the time you arrive at the location to the time you leave. We read other reviews that said the same thing, so we were prepared. None the less, that took away from the experience. 4) not enough time at the beach; it truly is a piece of paradise. We were there for 15 min bc we needed time to talk back to the buggies - were given a total of 20 min. Other than that, it was a memorable experience and you’ll have a great time if you set your expectations.

This ATV tour was a disappointment. We were picked up at 11 AM, arrived around 11:45, and then waited almost two hours before the excursion even started. When we finally got going, the ride was slow and rushed. We only had 20 minutes at the beach, which felt ridiculous after all the waiting. Overall, the timing was poorly managed, and I wouldn’t do this tour again with this company.
On a positive Note, the only good thing was the staff was really nice.

The experience overall was okay and could have been better.
Good: The people were nice at the first stop which was the coffee tea and mamajuana tasting area. We got some mamajuana to take back home which tasted great. The tour guides were kind as well.
Bad: the amount of times we stopped and the amount of time we were stopped for was overwhelmingly unreasonable. Many buggies and ATV’s stopped working, one caught a flat tire, others got stuck, it was just a mess. The speed of the tour was very slow it wasn’t an exhilarating speed filled with adrenaline at all which is what you really want to get out of these type of tours. I believe if the amount of people in the tour were reduced you can have a higher speed tour and maybe fill yourself with some adrenaline because it’s less chances of people going off the lanes or having accidents etc you’ll just have more control of the tour itself instead of waiting for them to fix the buggy or put them on another buggy and all the mess that occurred.
Time: TOO LONG! We got picked up at our hotel at 8:40. The buggy tour was about 2 hours but majority of the time you’re stuck waiting for them to fix the rides and help people who just don’t follow rules. The cenote was a short 15 min stop. The Macao Beach was about 15-20 min stop ( the nicest stop and I wish we could have enjoyed it more ). We got back to the spot at about 1 pm and didn’t get back to our hotel until 2:30pm rushing to get some lunch at the buffet. You have to wait for everyone who got transportation included to finish paying for pictures, souvenirs, etc and that was really annoying because I already didn’t enjoy the trip to the fullest and now I’m waiting for others for over an hour to get on the tour bus plus the time it takes to drop others off before you’re dropped off. That can and should be adjusted.
Pick up: pick up at the hotel was very efficient they were actually there early. I chose an 8 am start time and got picked up at 8:40 when it was scheduled for 8:45. Once you get to the place you sign a waiver and you can purchase sunglasses, bandanas, drinks and they have lockers that are included to put your belongings but you should really only bring what’s necessary. They tried to charge me the $5 for the locker until I showed them it was included and they did honor it which was good ! As mentioned before the people were very kind.
Overall the tour could have been better. I’ve been on tours in other countries and have had a better experience due to efficiency and better organization. We saw other tours just zooming by us while we were wishing to be on that tour instead to have a better time, but we were waiting for other issues to be resolved. The tour is a messy one where you get filled with dirt and mud which is the experience you want and yes you do get it, but with too many hiccups that make you lose patience and interest in continuing the tour being in the sun for more than half a day you’re tired and just want it to end. Hopefully these issues mentioned are fixed for future tours to be enjoyed in the beautiful Punta Cana. Thank you to the tour guides who were kind and did their best!

For that reason, the speed of the tour is always adjusted to ensure the safety of every participant, especially in shared routes where multiple groups are present at the same time. The goal is to offer an exciting and fun ride while guaranteeing that everyone finishes the experience safely.
As for the duration, pick-up logistics and return times can vary depending on the number of guests using transportation services across different hotels. This is standard in most multi-stop tours in Punta Cana. Even so, we constantly share this feedback with our partners to help improve coordination and efficiency.

First it was safe, you got pick up at your hotel and transferred to the site where we were informed about the boogies and route we were taking it was an awesome experience I would recommend the group again especially Carlos the instructor
