- Due to city regulations, after 10pm there is no guided tour. The Drunken Monkey fully complies with all laws and regulations and recommends it's customer's follow the 10pm noise curfew and the public ban of alcohol on the streets when outside the Drunken Monkey Bar.

Horrible. Drinks were disgusting. Went to one bar with free drinks. Got scammed. Was told we were going to 4 bars all unlimited drinks for free but instead we went to one. Bs

Very small “clubs” with a group of a 100 ppl, was told we get unlimited drinks and did no except for 30 minutes at the first bar

If you show up late to the open-bar you get less drinking time. The open bar is from 8pm-10pm or 10pm-11pm depending on the group you are in.

I had fun but feel it wasn’t worth the money. The “unlimited drinks” were at the first bar and started with boxed wine or cheap beer for the first 30 min. After 30, you could get liquor but they didn’t have tequila and “ran out” of absinthe. There was no leader to the crawl- it was a WhatsApp groupchat with the bar locations and times you were supposed to go to yourself. I would’ve had more fun going to different bars and clubs on my own.

I think this is not worth the money at all. You only get free drinks at the first bar— I thought it was all night. Plus they only give you wine and beer for the first 30 min. It’s also very unorganized in the sense of getting the group to hop to bars. They basically just tell you a schedule but I could’ve done that on my own. Overall not worth the money, just go bar hop yourself. It’s missing the huge moving group elements of a bar crawl.

Complete scam. Only gave out free drinks for a little of the first bar, then when you ask bartender for free welcome shot at the next bars they don’t know what you are talking about and there is a guy pouring liquor out of a bottle into peoples mouth as the “welcome shot.”

First venue visit was positive with free drinks and good atmosphere (even if the crowd were very young!). Second club visit was great but then the tour operators left us! No communication to share how long we were to stay or what next venue was so we can make our way there independently. Tried emailing and going back to initial venue but no luck! Can’t call it a pub crawl all considered. Poorly arranged and ruined the night.

This is a scam.. do not pay for such a pathetic experience. There’s nothing fun in this and the pub looks like a dungeon. They offer some cheap drinks at monkey bar but for the other pubs we have to pay. This was not mentioned while booking. It said all drinks included.
I suggest ppl to go around old town and try the pubs on your own rather than this stupid package.

Not recommended for somebody that is going alone. People tend to be in their small groups, host won’t do anything to break ice between people, so this is more fun if you come with your friends.

Drunken Monkey pub crawl was so much fun, they really make sure everyone is having a good time, wouldn’t recommend going alone as a girl but I would say this a definite go to Prague activity. My group had SO MUCH FUN!! It’s a great way to meet other people in the area and also see various clubs!!

It started off well at the meeting point (This is the only location with free drinks. The rest of the pubs are a free shot from the host.) The drinks are decent and the crowd skews early- to mid-20s. The hosts were nice and made it a point to interact with everyone.
I thought this experience could improve in two ways:
1) Let the attendees know how long we will be at each location and a meet point to continue as a group to the next bar.
2) Provide somewhat of an itinerary of bars we will be visiting over the course of the night within the Viator event details, should some people want to skip ahead.
I was left behind by the hosts at the first stop and did not have a way of rejoining the group later. The only stop mentioned in the event was the last one, which was closed permanently according to maps. I was also not able to reach the hosts through whatsapp, text, or call. I think the above changes (or a whatsapp text blast as we move on) would help keep things organized.

My friends and I booked 4 tickets to the pub crawl at 8pm last night (Saturday August 26th). We had just arrived from Berlin with high hopes to have the great night and experience the local bars/night life in Prague. As this is what is advertised on your website.
Unfortunately, expectations were not met whatsoever. We ended up leaving after the third bar as we had all had enough. The bars were grungy, unclean and frankly we all felt a little unsafe. The hosts were only interested in one thing and that was getting EVERYBODY blind drunk.

was recommended this by a hostel friend so clearly they enjoyed, but personally i do not recommend this tour, you can do far better just bar hopping yourself, it was a friday night and yet we started with only 10 people mainly men, the group then became too large as we went to the three locations to the point there was no room. welcome shots were hard to get, clubs were boring and honestly disappointing considering it’s prague, they could have been in any boring city so hardly a pub crawl. The men far outnumbered women making them desperate and the women uncomfortable, with all women present being approached in a creepy way (including tour guides who i’ve heard not great things about) at least 5 times (not experienced this scale in other clubs). Only good part of the night was leaving the final club with friends made along the way by laughing about bad experience, and going to a different place, granted apparently this tour apparently sometimes takes you to the place we went to (which is appealing as the cover fees can be expensive) but this can’t be relied on. overall an expensive night for little return, just go out in your own group and choose your own route, you’ll do far better.

We weren’t notified until 4 hours prior to meeting that the meeting place changed. We ended up 30 minutes late, because of this. Then, after the second bar, we were left behind. Us and another two gentlemen

Almost empty. “Free drinks” consisted of extremely watered down spirits which completely disappointed us for the rest of the crawl. Half the people left after the first one and made the crawl extremely dull and awkward

I decided to do a pub crawl while in Prague for 2 days. It is something I have heard about, and that it is a must do in Prague. Overall the experience was enjoyable. If-tobacco smoke, tobacco vapor, or other kinds of lung and throats irritants-is an issue for you, I would recommend considering something else to do with your night in Prague. This is an interesting experience if you like to people watch. If you’re capable(no lung issues, are able to stay out, tolerate a great deal of loud noise, can comfortably be around people who have consumed alcohol, and can pace yourself when it comes to your own drinking) I would say give it a go! This pub crawl was an introduction into Prague’s nightlife. While I’m sure there is a lot that isn’t seen or experiences, it is an introduction nonetheless and a travel experience.

Was a good setup at Drunken Monkey, bad cost/alcohol ratio at second bar, left the line at the club because of seeing the security manhandling people further up in line and taking forever to be let in.
