Portugal - Off the beaten track

Peter’s knowledge & commentary was excellent. He did not overwhelm us with historical facts but painted a picture of the country, people & culture. He was very attentive to our needs and did not rush any of the stops. He is a safe driver & the ride was very comfortable. A great tour!

A fantastic day! Our guide Carlos was great, very friendly. He even stopped at a roadside stand for a couple of us to buy oranges! Having the chance to see the countryside and west coast beaches did not disappoint. Breathtaking!

Amazing Interior Trip of The Algarve

What a whirlwind day seeing some great sites in the Algarve. George was a fun, informative tour guide. He took us to many beautiful places. The lunch that was provided was delicious. Great opportunity to meet some fellow travelers. We all had a lot of laughs with George.

Wasn’t for me. I did not see what I wanted and I didn’t enjoy being in a van for 7 hours only stopping at 6-7 locations for 10-15 minutes (excluding lunch) for a photo. I would have preferred more time in a location of interest of which none were except for a few beach locations. My bad as I didn’t research enough ahead of time. While the driver was personable, you had to ask him (didn’t get his name and he didn’t provide) where are we going, what is the significance etc. Only then would he share. He basically drove us around to have a look. I also didn’t enjoy his humor which occasionally took a swipe at women and their behaviors. Perhaps it’s funny and ok in Germany to make fun of women in this way. Lunch was good.
