Wow! We are so lucky to choose this tour out of all that we had a chance to take. Natasha, our guide, was so knowledgeable, and such a delight to spend the day with. She accommodated our requests and gave us the best opportunity to see what a beautiful island she lived on. The lunch was yummy. The laughs were many and we spent a delightful day. If you are lucky to take this tour, don’t forget to ask about the “poof’s !!!

Natasha was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. She taught us a lot about the Azorean people. , culture and these amazing volcanic lakes. Her 4 WD keep lets you get to locations only long hours of hiking get you to. She was able to follow the weather and make sure we saw all the lakes. The only thing I would change is eliminate the liquor tasting and lunch. The time spent off road at the lakes was special.

Azores
Foggy rainy day. There seemed to be some miscommunication on the start time of our voucher compared to others. Host was friendly, knowledgeable and proud to be a native Azorian.
The 4x4 was able to take us places where tourist buses could not. Although the fog diminished our viewing opportunities, she endeavors to show us other island treasures. She made the best of a cloudy situation.
Buffet Lunch with wine was provided and only serviced authentic meals. Our guide explained everything, was happy to answer all our queries and was personable.
Two recommendations. Provide a map of the island with a proposed itinerary for guests. I lost all sense of direction and location., and to be honest, this tour was one of many booked on our holiday. Secondly, ask guests if they wanted shopping time after the tour. We arrived back to port with only 1/2 hour for shopping but I feel all everyone may have wanted a longer time to support the local economy.
