Loved the Pisa climb!

Pisa is my favorite spot in Italy… the people in this town are friendly and helpful! The Pisa Tower complex is well manicured, the bathrooms are very well maintained, and they offer a convenient cloak room for bags while you make the climb. The entire Pisa team makes this a great experience! Kudos to Pisa!!

Very poor experience. The tour operator canceled my tour at the last minute. Then when I rebooked I was mistakenly booked for a week later. Then they didn’t provide a refund. These folks are criminals.

Scam!!! Do not buy. I booked the 9am Pisa tower for a very tight time line visit and the night before I got a text telling me that 9am wasnt available but 1130 was. I expressed my confusion and asked for the absolute earliest time. I got up the next morning and after looking at my shedule around 8:45 I messaged the company letting them know that since they were unable to get me the tickets for the time I had originaly purchased for 9am to just send me a refund due to the fact that I couldnt fit in a later tour. At 930 they sent me tickets for 1130 and I had already left the city of Pisa on my way to Rome. I attempted to message them and requested a refund but they will not respond! Do NOT buy from them

The Pisa Tower was good. The problem was with Viator and our inability to make contact with them when our voucher would not download into ticket form, forcing us to miss our scheduled Pisa Tower visit. We received an AI recording, difficult to hear and understand, without any remedy for our issue. Things went from bad to worse when we were told by the local authorities that the ticket was no longer valid. We begged for consideration and finally we were rescheduled to a later time, which was less convenient for us. Also, we never received the audio headsets for self-tour. I have used Viator many times, but this was one of the worst, I think mostly because we did not have a live tour guide. If it were not for an IT person employed by the Visitor Center, we would never have been able to download the ticket. So, this is a rating of a problematic Viator event, not the destination itself. I believe Viator should refund our fee, because it is easier to buy tickets at the location, not through Viator.

Worth going up the tower, but tickets supplied weren't quite right.

Very pleased we decided to climb the Tower to the top - great views, and it wasn't as crowded as we thought it might be. A bit of a hiccup with our prebooked tickets - we booked for 0900, and received 2 tickets, one for 0915 entrance and one for 0930, which meant that I had to get my ticket scanned in the 0915-0930 window, and then had to wait 10 mins before my partner was able to get her ticket scanned.

Perfect. Get there a little early to get on line for the tower climb. They let groups up every half hour but the line forms early.

The time slot did not match the booking, downloading the audio guide was not possible, the service was unclear at €80.
