Everything ran smoothly from start to finish — we met right at the pier where the ferry arrives, and Filip was there waiting for us promptly. Highly recommend this tour if you want an authentic, unforgettable Pico adventure!

Filipe was an incredible guide for our tour around Pico. We flew over from Ponta Delgado for the day so that we could experience the relatively untouched island. We met Filipe at the marina terminal. He was very knowledgeable and great to talk to on the ride from place to place. The lunch was an authentic sample of Azorian dishes and it was delicious. Because of this experience we plan on returning to Pico to relax for a few days in the future. Highly recommend this tour.

Our family had a wonderful time on the tour. Our guide was passionate, professional, and thorough. We saw so many great sights. Our favorite was getting a clear view of Mount Pico! I highly recommend this tour if you are thinking of visiting Pico.

Since we did not have a rental car, we needed to find a way to see and explore Pico. This tour was the perfect answer.
Our guide, a Pico-er, knew the island like the back of his hand. He brought us to all of the "highlights", but more importantly, allowed us to see places and spaces that were not teaming a tourists, cars, or buses..
Our guide kindly carved out time for us to walk/hike in places that we would not have known of (or seen) without him. Knowing that we wanted to swim, he made time for us to visit and swim in his favorite (natural) swimming pool.
Although perhaps unique, a highlight was seeing an historic basalt home - a wonderful opportunity for us.
Highly recommend this personalized tour with a flexible and accommodating company!

Great day tour around Pico with Filipe and Francisco of Terralta Nature Tours, who were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides. Scenic views of crater lakes, tracts of native forest, a great Azorean lunch, a visit to a vineyard, a visit to the volcano museum including an earthquake simulator, and a tasting of liqueurs at the end. Excellent day tour!

Absolutely outstanding guide who was passionate about Pico.
He took a lot of time to show us so many things on this beautiful island.

A great day despite all the museums (including the volcanoe house) being closed as it was a Monday. However we saw some amazing scenery and visited the whale factory that is a museum now and open!

It was a generally good experiance where we learned a lot about Pico island and the rest of the islands.
I wish we had a dip in the natrural pools as part of the experiance.

Philip was friendly and informative! He spoke English well and selected activities and locations to keep the whole family interested and engaged. Lunch was delicious and pickup and drop off at the ferry was convenient. We shared our tour with a lovely couple from New York/Lisbon and thoroughly enjoyed the day!

Filippe was a wonderful tour guide. He took us to a whaling museum, a volcano simulator, a walk through a vineyard, and other spots. Lunch was a buffet at a local restaurant. We tasted local cornbread and cheeses. Lunch included wine and dessert!

Our tour guide was Filipe. Our ferry from Horta was delayed so we were late for about 15 minutes. The weather was cloudy and it was going to be rainy, so Filipe rearranged our schedule for the day, to have outdoor activities first. Good lunch is included in price. Filipe knows well the Pico island and shared with us lots of interesting facts. We were lucky to find Monstera Deliciosa fruit and tried it, it tasted like pina colada. If you’re still thinking - don’t think and just book this tour and enjoy!

We enjoyed our time spent with tour guide/owner Felipe. His expert knowledge of Pico island, UNESCO vineyards, and local wines was very much appreciated. Lunch was included at a wonderful, local restaurant. The Gruta das Torres -(Lava Tube) tour was fascinating as well. Truly spectacular day!

This was a great tour and we were able to see many things on the tour. I would highly recommend. The tour guide was great and seeing the island of Pico was a once in a lifetime trip. The tour guide went out of his way to make the tour great!

Good trip around some local sights. Caves and lunch were good.
Only negative issue was that the guide was talking in the Land Rover and it was difficult for those in the back to hear.

Long day with a lot of expectations but not very engaging and orgonised gide.
Long time spent in all you can eat restaurant without air-conditioning and terrible service.
