We started in the Old Creation, in Madalena, with a visit to the vineyards and the mill, then followed up to the Lagoa do Capitão for a short walk and panoramic views of St. George. The route continues to São Roque do Pico, passing through the Villa and visiting the Baleeira Industry Museum, before having lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the sea. After lunch, we follow the north coast, passing Cabrito, Arcos and Lajido de Santa Luzia, where we visit the Vineyard Landscape Interpretation Center and the volcanological/sismological zone.
