Your day cruise starts in central Perth, where you hop aboard a comfortable boat and set sail up the Swan River, a scenic waterway that stretches from the city into Western Australia’s Swan Valley wine region. Enjoy relaxing onboard, followed by tastings of premium wines from regional vineyards, accompanied by a shared lunch platter.
As you listen to narration about the history and geography of the river and valley, admire views of Perth’s suburbs and the picturesque scenery outside the city. Hop off the boat at Mandoon Estate, to take a winery tour and enjoy a wine tasting experience that includes delicious macaron pairings.

The wine cruise was relaxing and the weather perfect, saw dolphins (unexpectedly), nice food, great entertainment and great boat crew. It stopped at one winery, which was disappointing due to the lack of air-conditioning and not great wine and what they paired the wine with was over sweet and over strong in taste(everyone has different taste) another winery would have been nice to visit.

Service, food, commentary absolutely 💯 %. Good selection of 3 wines tasted on the journey.
The macaroon & wine tastings was interesting and having free time at Mandoon estate was good (maybe just a bit too long).
Entertainment and bar on the way back was fun. Loved being seated on the bow to enjoy the sun and cool air.

Really enjoyed this tour with friends. It really feels like 3 trips in one: meandering cruise up the river with wine tasting, another @ mandoon estate with unique macaroon - wine pairing and then some music on the way back. I don’t want to ruin the surprise with the latter…

It was a very enjoyable cruise up and down the Swan River. The wine tasting was great.
The only thing that we did not like was that when we booked with Viator the description said "Modern Grazing Table Lunch at Sandalford", however the operator Captain Cook Cruises had changed this to "Delicious, shared platter lunch on board the boat with a glass of wine" and "Wine tasting experience at Mandoon Estate".

We do appologise that there have been some changes to the experience. These came into effect on September 1st and though we edited all aspect possible from our end Viator had yet to update their description of the product until Friday last week.

Sandalford food and wine experience was very good. The wines on the vessel were less quality. In order to make it ***** the wines would need to upgraded.

We were experiencing heat wave conditions in Perth and imagine our horror to discover that the air conditioning on the boat was not working properly & Captain Cook Cruises were aware of this (as per staff) - had been for some time and it was not fixed! And it was a boat with big glass windows! One of our friends could not catch the boat back as it made her sick on the way to the winery. Despite this the staff on the boat were amazing, the winery was beautiful, food at winery & on boat was superb! Fix the air conditioning Captain Cook Cruises

Visit to Sandleford Winery was excellent - tour, wine tasting and lunch were superb while the relaxing cruise to and from was a perfect into to the region and return. The crew was also excellent, extremely efficient and helpful. Special mention to Myra and lovely singing from Audrey to end the cruise.

We didn’t get to experience the tour because we had to cancel due to unforeseen sadness in the family. We called up and asked for either a refund or reschedule the tour and was told that’s not allowed. I think we could have at least get rescheduled for a later date seeing we paid $450, maybe that could have been an option, thank you
