Great day, however the bar code you are given won’t allow you on the ferry .. you have to go to the ticket office to get a boarding pass.. so I nearly didn’t get to Rottnest !

Ferry left right on schedule. Exchanging the voucher for a ticket was easy and quick! The ticket window was a short walk from the ferry itself

It was a great to visit Rotto and see the Quokkas. As we are not physically active to hire bikes we choose the bus. The day we visited was not very warm but very wi dy.

Book early for bikes
Hop on hop off bus available every 20mins very good. $30 pp. If u meet any of the volunteers they are a wealth of information

Loved this trip, Rottnest Island is such a beautiful place to visit and the cute little Quokkas are everywhere, they’re so friendly. I recommend hiring an E-bike to explore the island as some parts are quite hilly

It would be good to inform guests in advance about the ride to Rottnest. I vomited twice on the ferry as it was a choppy ride. The weather was bad and it was raining. We should have been told earlier so we could take seasickness pills beforehand. It was my first time experiencing something like that.

Not much there but we did enjoy lunch and the hop on hop off bus. Lots of cycling to be done although it's pretty hilly.

Smooth experience from beginning (booking) to end! I highly recommend that anyone visiting Perth spend a day on Rottnest Island (and book e-bikes online ahead of time to avoid a long line--(and the Pedal & Flipper running out!)

Enjoyable day, staff were friendly and helpful and Gerry was clean and comfortable. The island was great. Just one thing to bare in mind is if you are sensitive to motion sickness get ready, the ride to the island was probably one of the worse when it comes to rocking and I got motion sickness for the first time, so make sure to take some anti motion sickness medication to help. Otherwise definitely recommend, thanks

Enjoyed the day at Rottnest Island. I had a incident with a driver I asked him "Can I make a suggestion" Before departing from each stop can you take a moment to ensure people trying to sit down sit before taking off as you jerked the bus taking off my husband slipped and we caught him. The driver from D99 approx 2.45p said I dont have time to check its not my responsibility, yet when we went to speak to Anna in the box office and report the incident bus D99 was still sitting there for about 15 minutes.
As we used to own a bus company ourselves it is in the best interest of the driver and Company to have some duty of care to ALL passengers. This was not the case with this driver very surprised with his whole attitude as a driver.
Is it common practice for drivers NOT kneeling the bus as 3 x bus drivers had not idea to do this and this made it a bit difficult for some passengers to enlight the bus.

Rough on the way there, but we got to see whales so it was all the more worth it. No issues on the way back, but those with weak stomachs may not enjoy this ferry! Great service either way.

A fabulous opportunity to explore the island of Rottnest. And of course, it’s beautiful Quokka residents!! There’s are spots to swim, to eat, to picnic, to drink, to stay (if you had organised it previously) . A fabulous experience and we found the shops and restaurants really reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.
