We had the absolute pleasure of learning from Brian, our roasting “coffee conductor,” and this experience exceeded every expectation. With over 20 years of hands-on coffee expertise, Brian’s depth of knowledge is incredible. He has assisted with the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA), and it truly shows in the way he explains everything — from bean origin and roast profiles to the subtle flavor notes that most of us would normally miss. His passion for coffee isn’t just professional, it’s personal, and that makes all the difference. What really stood out was how generous he was with his time. Our session went over by more than 1.5 hours simply because we kept asking questions and Brian happily answered every single one with enthusiasm, patience, and depth. Not once did we feel rushed. Instead, we felt like we were sitting with a true master of his craft who genuinely loves sharing his knowledge. If you’re even slightly curious about coffee or if you already consider yourself a coffee enthusiast, this experience is a must. Brian doesn’t just teach roasting; he orchestrates an unforgettable coffee journey. Highly recommend!
