Very brief introduction to WW2 events in Nürnberg- so much history the tour could take days instead of hours. Option given to spend longer in Courtroom 600 which I recommend if able

Nuremberg is so full of WWII history and our guide, Rob, was extremely knowledgeable on the topic and came prepared with many photos (which he air dropped to us) on his IPhone to show what it looked like in Nazi Germany times. Unfortunately a lot of the Na I buildings and other artifacts have not been well preserved. Rob also did his homework on anecdotal facts about international companies who helped the Nazi during the war. Seeing where the Nuremberg trials took place was a highlight.

Our guide was knowledgeable and a good storyteller. We enjoyed the tour - just a shame we were not able to stay and explore the Nuremberg Palace of Justice a bit more - especially since we had to pay an entrance fee and the experience did not represent value for money due to the timing and time spent there.

Zeppelin Field and the courthouse were the only worthwhile stops and we had to pay our own way into the courthouse. Whole tour was overpriced.

The info that our guide told us to explain more than we were expecting than just the sites we were looking at. More time in the exhibition of courtroom 600 would have been better. We were offered this but chose to be taken back to our hotel rather than stay longer & come back by public transport.

Not your boring tour guide.

Rob is a passionate tour guide and very interesting to listen to. He is also very friendly and accommodating. The tour was organized and well thought out, and it was a great perk to be driven around in a private car with just a small group of people.

We found this tour very good and highly informative. Our guide, Rob, was friendly and knowledgeable, making the tour fun. Our most memorable stop was the Nuremberg courthouse. It was pretty sobering to sit in Courtroom 600, where the perpetrators of the Nazi horror were persecuted.

The tour is well organized and visits important/ historical sights. We had adequate time in each site but the narration along the way was less than I expected. You get only a superficial sense of each site and of the development of Nürnberg as an important city for the Nazi party. Don’t take this tour to learn the history of Nürnberg— better to read up on it before. Lastly, our guide Rob was enthusiastic and speaks English well but very quickly with a Brazilian accent. My wife found him very difficult to understand.

dear passenger, this tour is for you to learn about nuremberg in just 3 hours, if the Guide goes into too much detail you would need much more than 3 hours that's why he is asking if anyone has any questions and he would love to answer you.
Regarding him speaking too quickly, I'll talk to him so this doesn't happen next time.

Rob was lively, entertaining and knowledgeable. He went to a lot of effort to ensure our comfort and give us adequate time to absorb the atmosphere of the various sights and how to approach Court Room 600 in particular. One of the highlights was the Nazi version of the Colosseum where he was able to demonstrate the amazing acoustics of the place. He certainly added a lot of information about which we were not aware in relation to the propaganda methods and the businesses that are associated with the dark history of Germany. Very much appreciated his bubbly personality and advice at the end in how to visit the old town of Nuremberg

Tour guide was over an hour late. He said "traffic". Excuse me, but you as a local should know about traffic and ensured to leave early to make sure you pick me up on time. Tour was cut short because he was late and I did not enjoy the trip. Could of easily went on my own and purchased entry tickets - would of been more productive.

thanks for your review, but sometimes we don't have traffic control and we informe you 20 min before the start time, the guide also didn’t finish the tour early and give 1:30hour plus, but that's ok. Is this your review of the tour? just the traffic. his knowledge is worthless.

This tour guide should not be doing a tour that involves a discussion of the rise of National Socialism. His english language skills and knowledge of the actual history are not sufficient for a nuanced or sophisticated discussion. He spent too much time talking about unimportant things early in the tour and did not allow enough time to visit the courthouse museum.

Gabriel was a great guide. He has a very high emotional intelligence and was competent not only on the tour subject matter but WWII in general which helped with some context.
Communication with the agency was flawless and when Gabriel was 10 min late to pick up, text sent 45 min before.
Highly recommended and a good value.

Our guide was so happy and engaged with us and it was clear he wanted this to be memorable. Sights we viewed were bigger than I expected but you could imagine what might have happened there.

I have used Viator for years. This was the absolute worst tour ever. I was travelling solo but had to pay for 2 as this was presented as a private tour”. Not so, I was put in with 2 others.
Secondly, the Court of justice and court room 600 which was part of the tour…closed on that day..but the price of the tour was as if you were getting the full tour. This was the main reason for me going to Neuremberg…so very disappointing to say the least. There was nothing on the description that I read on Viator that said anything about it being closed….and if they knew this you would have thought there would have been a price adjustment.
Thirdly, the guide’s command of the English language was terrible..you had to concentrate and then try and work out what he was trying to say.He had no grasp of English grammar and should not be advanced as an English guide.
For all of these reasons I asked for a refund..even a partial one because of the first 2 reasons..my request was refused. Very disappointed Viator which is a shame. Paola

Sorry for listening to this Paola, but it is written in the tour description that the courthouse is closed every Tuesday. about the guide's English, I always hear this when clients make a mistake and don't read the tour description very well, the tour needs at least two people to do it, but if the client wants to do the tour alone, he has to pay for two or look for another company to be doing this tour. however you didn't mention in your evaluation that you were rude to the guide, even speaking not very pleasant words to him and also didn't understand the tour very well because you was just talking to another passenger from his hometown that coincidentally the others passengers were from the same city as you, so much so that even her husband sat next to the driver to understand better because the lady didn't stop talking. so next time when you propose to take a tour try to pay more attention and be more polite and learn to read the tour description
