Paul was fantastic. We let him pick the four wineries. It was a great variety of style and atmosphere, really showcasing the unique angle of the Niagara wine region. I would highly recommend this over a group tour, as you get to move around with more flexibility and not tightly scheduled. In addition Paul has a great relationship with the wineries and some extra special treats are treats are provided. Thanks again Paul.

Good for information. But…..

Very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the area. Downside is he gets annoyed if you want to talk with your partner and have a discussion which breaks his script. Don’t ask him to adjust his schedule. He lectured us for taking too long at one winery. We cut it short as we no longer felt comfortable with him. A better approach would have been, we have to adjust we have time for this or this now. We paid for a private tour which can go on our schedule, but turns out it had to go on his schedule or else.

A total wine experience! We were so lucky to have Paul as our guide to Niagara wine country! He was very knowledgeable, informative and engaging in all aspects of our day. From the local history of Niagara on the Lake and the Niagara region to the history, and lineage of all of the many wineries and winemakers, he enriched our brains as well as our palates including a private little lesson about what makes a “good wine”. It’s all about the taste! :). We had guests from BC along with us who have travelled extensively to many world class wineries but had never experienced the wonderful wines of Niagara. I had asked Paul to lead us with his expertise to “impress the heck out of our guests” and he delivered! We also had my 83 year old mother with limited mobility along with us and he was very wonderfully patience and accommodating including retracing our steps to find my mother’s lost phone. Thank you Paul!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better day! Cindy

We had an amazing experience with Paul! He is extremely knowledgeable and curated a wonderful day for us. Paul picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. We first stopped at a beautiful lookout point where Niagara Falls originally started and Paul had a nice little picnic for us. Paul told us all about the history of the falls and the wine region in Niagara. He gave us a tour of the area and we visited 3 lovely wineries and a fantastic distillery. Paul gave us options to choose from ahead of time and curated an experience based on our preferences. He took us to smaller, independently-owned places so we had a more personalized experience. Everyone we met was extremely nice and accommodating. We especially loved our lunch at Caroline’s and tasting the ice wine! Would 100% recommend this experience. We will definitely book it again if we are ever back in the area. Thank you, Paul!
